• Callum (8/5): Superb Location, lovely hosts - Location was a stones throw from the town but far enough away so as not to disturb you of an evening. Breakfast was nice and varied with options to cater for most people. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, arranging a taxi for us to the train station on the last day. Would definitely come back The hallways smelling of smoke but this may be an English thing. The rooms didn't smell of smoke I must add

• Martin (9/5): Rundum zufrieden. - Die Gastgeberin und das Frühstück waren perfekt. Das Zimmer groß und sehr sauber, das Bett bequem. Der Weg zur Penkenbahn dauerte zu Fuß nur fünf Minuten. Die Heizung hätte etwas kräftiger sein können.

Anna, the host, was attentive and caring. The room was spacious, featuring a large and luxurious bed, and a balcony offering an amazing view of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel for excellent value at an affordable price for every budget.

• Irina (10/5): Wonderful vacation and skiing in the mountains - We spent a week here. All this time, Anna has been incredibly attentive and hospitable. She helped us with any question that arose, gave us many useful recommendations. I’d like to express my special gratitude to her :) The room was comfortable, functional and warm, which especially pleased me. Anna also provided us with coffee and tea for all days, which was a nice bonus. The guest house is quite close to the ski lift, even in ski boots no more than 5 minutes on foot at a leisurely pace. • Stephen (9/5): Landhaus zum Griena makes an excellent choice for visitors to Mayrhofen - Landhaus zum Griena is about 200m or so from the main Penkenbahn access lift and the family who own the guest house are extremely welcoming and go the extra mile to make a visitor welcome. The breakfast is particularly good in terms of quantity, quality and variation. Views from the guest house balconies are great and the location is quiet with no disturbances. Meanwhile the railway station is very accessible where the local buses and ski buses also stop. A very minor niggle - put a brighter light in the ski room please.

• Petr (8/5): Good location, good service, good price. - Well, Landhaus zum Griena is 5 minutes walk from the ski lift. The appartment was large with its own terrace and its own entrance from the parking lot. The hotel room was new after a reconstruction with its own balcony. Overall, I positively evaluate the price in relation to the services provided. Nothing that should be commented here.
• Andrew (8/5): Excellent choice of accommodation, would return here next time - Cracking little hotel in a fantastic location, really close to Penken lift. Google map doesn’t show it, but there’s a little shortcut path that makes the walk to the lift / high street really short, about three minutes. Also the staff were wonderful and really helpful. Breakfast could have been better, just the usual continental cold cuts / boiled eggs / etc. Although this is pretty normal for Austria. Coffee wasn’t strong enough but at least it was fresh (yes I’m a fusspot!)

The owners, mother and daughter were very friendly and helpful, a perfect base in mayrhofen. The Internet was very poor signal and occasionally dropped out completely. Property was hard to find as their sign was very small and virtually invisible after dark.
