• Kelly (10/5): Great value - Stayed in The Olive for a wonderful long weekend. The unit was well thought out with lots of lovely natural light and a fully functional kitchen and living room. The beds were very comfortable and the loungeroom had lots of space to hang around and socialise. There was a number of outdoor spaces too including a BBQ area and a picnic table. The location is central and we enjoyed being in easy reach of parkruns, the Willunga town centre and the Willunga Farmers Market.

• John (9/5): Excellent, quiet, spacious base for family or group of friends - Willunga is a small, pretty town and was an excellent base to explore the McLaren Vale and nearby coast. The property was well resourced and had nice spaces both inside and out to sit and eat. Although there are 2 units side by side, it was very quiet, private and peaceful. The property has been done up inside, with double glazing, great bathroom and comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and the large open dining/living space worked well.

Die Wohneinheit war liebevoll eingerichtet, ebenso wie der Außenbereich. Der Ort ist fußläufig problemlos zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und wären gerne länger als eine Nacht geblieben!

Walking distance to everything we wanted to explore in Willunga. Highly recommend catching the metro bus into McLaren Vale and hiring a bike to enjoy some of the wineries.

• Timothy (9/5): Very comfortable - A very comfortable and spacious 2- bedroom self-contained apartment. A very peaceful environment and still walking distance to the shops and cafes in Willunga high street.

• Sandra (9/5): We will recommend our stay at the Grape and Olive and it will be a special memory. - The two ground level units were located in a garden area with trees all around behind the owners' house. There were 2 parking spaces but only one undercover. We were two sisters, both over 80, and it's always a blessing if there are no stairs to climb dragging luggage. When we walked inside, after coming from Kangaroo Is., we were delighted with the decor and the quality of the furnishings. The location, just on the outskirts of Willunga, was an easy walk to the cafes, pubs and trendy shops of the Village. We explored the coast, which was about 15 minutes drive, the wineries, McLaren Vale and numerous little townships throughout the district. To sum up, it was our home away from home and the price was reasonable. I can't think of anything we didn't like. The advertising described the property exactly as it was.

Bathroom modern with great shower, soap, shampoo, hairdryer etc. Cereal, tea, coffee, milk and some cookies were appreciated. Gold coin donation to use washing machine was a bonus as we were travelling for 3 weeks. Would happily stay again. Hosts welcoming and good Communcation at all times. Enjoyed a gin tasing with Mark. • Wendy (8/5): Willunga near the Wineries - We could walk into Willunga main street and a lovely neighbourhood for a morning walk. The accommodation was modern, spacious and clean. The driveway was a bit tricky with overhanging bushes and tight spaces. Breakfast provisions could have been better such as maybe bread and some spreads, juice. A few more hooks or shelves in bathroom would be helpful as well as maybe luggage racks / benches.
