- Aman (10/5): From Aman and Inder. Felt like a home. Will recommend others and also use the same stay for ourself. - Everything Everything was good nothing to dislike.
- stephen (10/5): - I had the pleasure of meeting Danny and Trudy, and I was quite happy I did. They're wonderful hosts and very accommodating. The space is roomy and very comfortable, with all needed amenities. I also have to mention that the bed was beyond comfortable, I literally slept right to my alarm. I highly recommend them if you're in the area. Hope to make it back again sometime in the future. Thanks Danny and Trudy.

- Scott (10/5): - Simple, quiet, comfortable. Just needed a spot to crash for a night while on a work trip and couldn’t have asked for more. Warm greeting on arrival, clean rooms, no hassle. Great spot, especially for work in Greenwood.
- Deborah (10/5): We found a true gem in the NS countryside. - It’s a beautiful, quiet, rural setting but within a short drive to the base at Greenwood, Kingston and Berwick. Our ground floor suite was comfortable and cozy and Trudy was just sweet. Couldn’t think of a thing.
- Nancy (8/5): It was what we needed for peace and nature. - n/a
- Jeffrey (8/5): Had a good conversation about current world issues and other things with host - No breakfast with this accommodation As a light sleeper woken by host in middle of the night and very early morning as their bedroom above say in bedroom
- Catherine (10/5): Very great experience. I will book there again. - Everything was great about this stay. The spacious bathroom and nice tub were big bonuses for me. Loved the red chair too. Very nice hosts.
- Tammy (10/5): - Such a warm and welcoming vibe. When I arrived the first time, no one was there. I had to drive around for awhile before trying again.

- Christine (10/5): Trudy and Daniel are wonderfully cordial hosts. I would stay here again. - The house is beautifully situated, comfortably furnished and very welcoming. Autumn was beautiful with all the colors. I'd like to see it in the spring when the apple orchards are in bloom.
- Craig (10/5): Great - Terrific hosts and property
- steve (10/5): A lovely multi-room stay with a heratige atmophere. -
- Gail (10/5): - I didn't get breakfast. I GOT DINNER!! Even better. Homemade ham bone soup one night and roast beef with all the fixings the next. And good conversation. Lovely people. I didn't like that I had to leave and move on to the next region. You should clone yourselves and open places all along the Annapolis Valley and French Shore. You have a great knack for hospitality.
- Hai Dang (10/5): Wonderful experience. I will come back - The host is so friendly. I am impressed with the facilities there, clean, convinient, especially the bathroom. lol
- Mona (10/5): Cozy inn with all amenities. Very charming and comfortable, very affordable. We had a lovely stay. - The owner called in the morning to let us know our room was ready and how to access it. It’s so much warmer than an email or a message in a box! The place was very cozy with an old country charm, and very comfortable. We felt right at home. Besides the room with full bathroom, we had access to a fully furnished living room complete with a smart television, a fridge and a microwave. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
- Thorsten (10/5): Great stay in a lovely place! - Wonderful and friendly hosts! Nicely renovated rooms with a spacious TV room along with a large bath. We had a short but great stay!
- Moira (10/5): - Lovely and Relaxing
- swinimer (9/5): - Rooms were big and separated No TV in bedroom
- Marla (8/5): Very good - Clean, pretty location Only 1 bed, not 2 as in descriptiom
- Alexis (9/5): Historic place, legendary vibe. - Great hosts, calm place and a nice 18th century vibe. A must to stay the night! Bed was too soft so we both had trouble sleeping.
- Carla (10/5): Exceptional - The communication with them is amazing ! The place is lovely and they are so kind with a good heart.
- Joe (10/5): Great place to stay in the Annapolis Valley! - Kitchenette was well supplied with appliances and coffee/tea, Nice country side setting. No overwhelming scents used to "freshen" the air. Shared home with home owners so be cognizant of noise.

- Leah (10/5): Highly recommended for so many reasons 💗 - Warm, welcoming hospitality care of Trudy and Dan made my stay here so memorable. I enjoyed a gorgeously decorated, impeccably clean private suite with separate entrance. So much space, I felt like a queen in the massive bathroom. Full sized fridge, Keurig coffee and large tv. Heavenly comfortable bed. Many thoughtful details. A peaceful acreage location close to shopping and amenities (driving). A beautiful experience all around, highly recommended!! Departing.
- Xuan (9/5): Highly recommended if vehicled and as a fixed spot to gravitate around the area. - South Haven is truly a haven, all-encompassed countryside, quietness, comfort and cosiness of a century (more than that I imagine) house. The amenities are sufficient to satisfy some needs during a short stay. I was happy to notice there is a beautiful spot like that in the middle of the countryside. South Haven is located in a non-neglectable distance from the last bus coach stop in Kentville. No kitchen nor meal served at South Haven. However, there is a coffee machine, a fridge and a microwave to accomodate, which might be sufficient for some people.
- Rosalind (10/5): A true "haven" - Exceptionally clean, every detail was thought of. Very nice host. There was nothing we didn't like.
- Murray (5/5): Our stay was disappointing because of the lack of a breakfast - The bed was comfortable & the suite was clean. It is advertised as a bed & breakfast but there is no breakfast. If we had known there was no breakfast at the time of booking we would not have booked. The hosts were not very welcoming as they were not there when we arrived. The next morning we inquired about a breakfast and was told there wasn’t one in order to keep the cost down.
- Cristina (10/5): Heaven - It is a beautiful slice of heaven. Quite, beautiful location that is easy to get to and just in the right spot. The host super friendly and kind. Nothing! Only suggestion is a light of some sort to find the drive way at night lol
- Shuo (8/5): Very good -
- Klara (9/5): Superb - Very nice and clean space. The owner very friendly and helpful. Feels like home.
- Patti (10/5): Amazing great view quiet a real Gem ! - This place was perfect for our stay. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay !
- Cecile (8/5): Very good -
- Brigitte (8/5): Very good - So peaceful, a small Eden,
and the hosts were awesome! Overhead fan turned on on it's own at max. speed. Turning it off would also turn all lights off.
- Jl_picard (10/5): A Hidden Gem in the Annapolis Valley - Very comfortable, well equipped (nothing lacking), welcoming host, very reasonable price.
- Mary (9/5): Enjoyed it and would stay again. - The place was VERY clean. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful. We were in the area for my daughter’s soccer tournament. The location was perfect, we had 3 games on the same day and we were able to come back and rest between a couple of the games. The air conditioning was just what we needed since the day was very hot. I have no complaints
- Jason (10/5): Perfect two night stay - Lovely two night stay, we were welcomed by Trudy and Danny who were very friendly, they showed us around the well equipped apartment, talked to us like we were friends already, allowed us to use their pool (we visited in a heat wave) gave us some great pointers for where to eat and what to see and even gave us their mobile numbers and said to call at any time if anything wasn’t right, we didn’t need to call as everything was perfect! Thank you for sharing your home with us 😁 Everything was great
- Brittany (10/5): Exceptional -

- Emily (10/5): All we could have hoped for,and more - The host and hostess were the absolute best, they made us feel like we were being taken care of by a loving family, made sure we had everything we needed. We ran into a medical emergency, and they even offered lodging for free in the event we were unable to travel back home immediately.I would not hesitate to stay at South Haven in the future. There was nothing I didn’t like, and everything we could possibly need was at our fingertips.
- Sue (9/5): I looked forward to coming "home" after our outings. - Our hosts Danny and Trudy were very helpful and delightful! The room was exceptional. It was a very enjoyable two-night stay. We would definitely return!
- Cheryl (10/5): Great stay - Great livong area with a fridge, water, toaster, utensils, tea and coffe, a TV with Netflix, separate bedroom with giant master bethroom with tub, gorgeous, but it is still a really great shower. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The porch has a bench swing, the only warning I have is the shower squeels a bit high pitched
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Hammad (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about the place...it was nice and cozy place to stay. Everything was clean and well organized. Host is a very nice guy. 5 🌟 None
- Palmasano (10/5): Perfect Quaint Retreat - The apartment was in a very pretty location in the country, comfortable and spacious. Trudy & Dan are very welcoming and helpful. Everything was great!
- Moein (10/5): Nice place! - Clean, quiet and beautiful place Nothing
- Pick (8/5): Overall a lovely property and experience with lots of little extras/ details attended to. - Space Would prefer a blind in bathroom instead of the curtain for privacy, and a fan in bathroom would be nice.
- David (9/5): Great place to stay. - Very clean and spacious. Great price as well.
- Carrie (9/5): Superb -
- Marie (9/5): Overall, we were very pleased staying at this excellent place. - The lovely accommodations. Very clean and well-furnished. The female host, Trudy, was very friendly and did not hesitate to make sure she had answered all our questions well both before and during our visit. Just one small issue: We had food items we put in the fridge for our lunch next day and the fridge did not have a freezer section to freeze our ice packs for keeping our food items and water cool during our next day’s travels.
- Denise (9/5): I would happily return and will recommend this accommodation to others. - Breakfast was not provided. The location in the countryside was idyllic. In reading the reviews I was under the impression that breakfast was provided. However there was a fridge, tea and coffee therefore well set up for making one's own breakfast.
- Colin (10/5): Really enjoyed the stay and the friendliness of the hosts - The location and style of the property was very good. Dang and Trudy were very friendly and helpful Nothing
- Anonymous (6/5): Had trouble sleeping due to excessive noise late into the evening. - cozy spot Loud into the evening
- Jocelyne (8/5): Very good - Peaceful location, great place to relax. Great.hospitality. Nothing
- Barry (8/5): Exceptional..... - It was a country location and the rooms were spacious. The space was a nice blend of old and modern. The location and hosts made it feel down home for me. There wasn't anything that I didn't like.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - There was none Noise from the Hosts House. Bed too small
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Beverley (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely lovely place and people, we would highly recommend South Haven. We liked everything very much
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Moira (9/5): Superb - Extremely clean and comfortable suite. The home away from home I was looking for.
- Monika (5/5): Needs new proper Bed - Quite - no light pollution Bed extremely uncomfortable and too small for 2 people
Make your own breakfast no eggs
Toast yogurt apples oranges bananas
Horrible smell on bedroom and fan didn't work. No site conditioning. Woke up with head ache.
- Yumiko (9/5): Great place to stay. Definitely recommend. - Very very clean, cozy, everything you need is there I had no idea how to adjust the heating system.
Couldn’t change the TV volume.
- Hoshing (9/5): Superb -
- Neil (10/5): Doesn’t get better - Excellent, comfortable clean, very well equipped.
The owners couldn’t be more accommodating or friendly,
Had a great time with thanks to Danny and Trudy
- Sophie (8/5): All good! - It was a continental breakfast which was good. The double bed, which was our choice, we could have had another room upstairs with a queen; it meant going up stairs from outside so it was more convenient for us to stay on the main floor. The hosts were lovely and really look after their guests!
- Cathy (10/5): Exceptional - Definitely a place I'll recommend and return to.
- Brandy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - Located on a beautiful piece of property. some updated photos would make the online presence more attractive.

- Cliff&suzanne (9/5): Perfect location. - Breakfast just OK. Location perfect— midway between zoo and Thai restaurant. Hosts excellent. Nothing, really.
- Victor (10/5): Very happy with my accommodations - Comfortable, very clean, great hosts
- Steen (10/5): Great room and very friendly owners - All was great, really great and worth the money for this lovely place.
I was warmed welcomed even that I arrived very early in the morning. Owners was very enthusiastic about giving me the best experience at their great place. And it really felt like being at home, away from home.
If I’ll go back to the area, I’ll book here again for sure, What. It was all great..
- William (10/5): Lovely hosts, lovely accommodation in the heart of the Annapolis Valley. - Cozy and comfortable B&B in a quiet location but near to the sights of the Annapolis Valley. Immaculate throughout, roomy, and tastefully furnished. There is a full sized fridge, microwave and toaster in the room. Breakfast is supplied and consists of yoghurts, cererals, fresh fruit, juices, milk, and bread.
Equally delightful are your kind and considerate hosts who have just about thought of everything to ensure your stay is a treasured one. And it was! Many thanks... Nothing. It was perfect.
