- Josée (9/5): -
- Thomas (7/5): Loved it, once I moved my bunk mattress to the floor. - Great communal facility with high end cookware and shower fixtures. Centrally located in Churchill and very attendant owners. Bunk beds should be made with solid wood frames to prevent disturbing bunkmates.
Metal frames creak with every movement.
- Tammy (10/5): I would highly recommend this accomodation if you are planning to stay in Churchill. - Roy was incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful. The accommodation was modern, clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. It was also very close to the main street in Churchill.
- Dorothy (9/5): Nice accommodation in a good location - Great location and the house was just fine for my needs. Some guests could have been a little bit quieter as the rooms are all so close together.
- Beverly (10/5): Great choice for Churchill. Good location. Felt like I was at home. Well stocked kitchen. - Great location, was able to walk everywhere in town. Host was super accommodating with check in and out times. Host had lots of information posted to assist with our stay and local options.
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Amy (10/5): Comfortable, friendly environment + convenient location - The property was clean and convenient. What I most appreciated was how accommodating the hosts were when we arrived before check-in and stayed past check-out (due to restrictive travel time-tables). The spaces are communal but it felt private as the other guests were out much of the day. Also, all the people we met were lovely and shared helpful traveler recommendations.
- Emilie (10/5): - Clean and spacious house. Open concept made it great to visit with other tourists. Kitchen had everything needed to make meals.
- Yunfeng(Nina) (9/5): -
- JLefebvre (10/5): Highly recommend starting here - Both Roy and Mary made every effort to create an inviting space. The space was well thought out, intelligently appointed and comfortable. It was easy to settle into our temporary home while visiting Churchill.
Our encounter with Mary was lovely. She was courteous and helpful with information about the area.
Excellent location to explore and see the town. Quick access to most of towns amenities. Although we slept well, we would have preferred a more firm bed.
- Aparna (10/5): - Everything
- Lilly (10/5): Exceptional - The house was cute and had everything we needed.
- Jasmine (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and amenities. We also had the place to ourselves so it was even more spacious!
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (9/5): Superb - Roy was super responsive and let us keep our stuff at the house until the train came. Very cute and cozy with a nice kitchen. The beds weren't great, but after hiking around in the cold, they were good enough.
- Carson (9/5): I’ll be recommending it to friends - Everything we needed including laundry was there. It was easy to get around by foot. Everything was clean, tidy, friendly. Great assortment of pamphlets! The bed was a bit soft for my taste. Otherwise everything was great!
- Srinivasamurthy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lawrence (10/5): Well-equipped accommodation - The house is well equipped and meets our needs. The Owner had planned out everything that a traveller need. Nothing. Everything is good.
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
- Coral (9/5): I am planning to stay here again in the summer! It was wonderful! - This was an absolutely immaculate property with lots of perks. Two bathrooms with full showers in both was a real bonus. The owners are very friendly, kind, and understanding. I was informed that I did not have to check out at 11 am which was so lovely to be informed of such and made my day a lot easier. The house had everything you could need with lots of games, a tv, comfy couch, coffee, tea, condiments, etc. I am actually planning to come back to Churchill in the summer and am planning to stay at the Beluga Beach House again! Thank you so much for your wonderful accommodations! The location was perfect as it is right next to the complex and beach. Everything else in town (restaurants, shops, etc.) is a 5 minute walk away. All in all I had a wonderful time :) I was unable to use my room to make calls or do video conferencing because there is little privacy. I could hear the other guests talking outside of the room with the door closed just as well as I could if the door was open. If there is some way to fix the area around the bedroom door (i.e., gap between door and door frame) to ensure there is a little bit more sound proofing that would be appreciated. Additionally, the pillows were not the best and I had a difficult time using them. If there were some additional pillows in the room (e.g., two more) that were a bit fluffier along with the pillows that are already provided that would have been spectacular. Also I was not sure where to put my used towels so if there was somewhere to put them or a way to request more towels that would be nice. Having said that we were provided two large towels and two face cloths at the beginning of our stay.
- Patricia (10/5): The place to stay when visiting Churchill - Warm, comfortable, cooking and laundry facilities.
- Paula (9/5): We just stayed overnight, it was comfortable and close to town and the museum - Breakfast not included but there was coffee and tea available. Close to several restaurants for breakfast. Recommend Ptarmagon Hard on my feet climbing to the bunk bed
- George (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rajesh (10/5): Very clean and comfortable. - Nice and clean. Very conveniently located in town.
- Jayaraman (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect, right in the middle of Churchill town. Roy is a wonderful owner amd made sure everything was comfortable.
- Paul (10/5): Awesome - The house was more than perfect.
Roy and his wife were so nice and helpfull.
I wish we could stay here for another week.
If we ever go back to Churchill 100% sure we will choose for the same accommodation.
- Barry (9/5): Superb -
- Pui (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Good location, close to town.
- Arkadiusz (10/5): Great location, very comfortable beds, newly renovated house and great kitchen. - Location, new and clean house. All the amenities that are needed for the stay. Fully equipped kitchen. Large selection of live TV channels!
- Claire (9/5): Great stay for great price with excellent service - The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to make meals everyday. This house is near the store and it was easy to bring back the food. The bathrooms were very clean and comfortable, loved the shower with the bench which allowed us to seat during the shower when needed. Also, the beds were very comfortable and sheets were soft. Plenty of room to put our clothes away. Walking distance to beach and all attractions. Nothing. All was appreciated.
- Kolber (10/5): Highly recommend -
- Mark (9/5): We had a great 3 day stay , would stay again and recommend. - Central location for everything in town including train station, room was very warm and clean. cooking and kitchen facilities were great . Two large bathrooms, plenty of hot water and clean towels, had its own laundry facilities. Nothing everything was great.
- Remple (10/5): Exceptional -
- Delgado (10/5): Couldn't imagine staying anywhere else should I have the opportunity to visit Churchill again. - Met the host Roy on two occasions, and he was so friendly and also so helpful answering my questions about the town. The location was super convenient for exploring the town... I spent most of my time in the beach on Hudson Bay, just two blocks away.
- Alexa (10/5): The best place to stay in Churchill on a budget! - Roy’s place was clean, comfortable, and well set up for both privacy and mingling. The kitchen is also well equipped for cooking. Everything is within a 10 minute walk (pretty much no matter where you stay). If I were to return to Churchill I would stay there again.
- Sze (10/5): The best accommodation in Churchill - Convenient location. 10 minutes walk to train station, grocery store and tour gathering points.
Clean room and common areas. Nice bathrooms.
Love the kitchen, too expensive to eat out in Churchill so a clean kitchen with stuff is awesome.
Affordable accommodation in Churchill. Really great value :)
Nice hosts, clean the house everyday. Too bad didn't get to see the host playing live music at the community centre because of train schedule, but he puts his CD in the house for us to enjoy.
Love the guest book, know more tips from previous travellers on what to do in Churchill.
Overall a very warm environment to stay and make new friends. nothing
- Heather (10/5): The Beliga Beach House provided us with everthything we needed to ensure our short time in Churchill was productive and - Hosts went out of their way to ensure guest had a memorable time in Churchill, provided information for a variety of tours and local events which enriched our experience. Nothing
- Chelsie (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): I Can't Fault the Place, Beluga Beach House was Awesome! - This was a really nice little place to relax, (four rooms so at most you're sharing with three other couples or solos) yet it has two bathrooms (and really nice ones, with great water pressure, hot water etc) a lot of options to sit in common rooms for way more people than that so you've got space. You're not in other people's way but its designed for easy chatting. There's board games and things like that. There's no wasted space in Beluga Beach House. If I was ever designing my own house, I wouldn't go wrong copying this layout. It's obvious that Roy (the host who doesn't live on the property but is always contactable) is someone who understands the traveler, especially, backpacker as there's a really good washing machine and drier to use for free, he doesn't skimp on the toilet paper quality, shower gel, soap and the like. Beds are really comfortable. He has information on all the tours to do on the wall, and a folder with menus of most places to eat in town. Bed was really comfortable. He lets you checkin when the train arrives and to move your bags out of the room for the next guest who arrives on the train but keep them in the house before the train leaves (it leaves at 7:30pm). I for example did the Tundra Tour that left at 8am and returned around 2pm. So you've got peace of mind there. Excellent high speed free wi-fi. Massive fridge/freezer. Key for your room so you can lock it. Room and rest of house very clean. I'll come back for Winter one day, (unfortunately didn't see polar bears this year in July) and will definitely try and stay here. Also is a really easy short walk (no hills) from train station. Close to where you board shuttle bus to take you to Tundra, zodiac beluga watching tours and others. As well as hospital (cheapest place to buy hot lunch). The only supermarket is also only a few blocks away, and the kitchen is equipped to cook food in.
- Berg (8/5): Very good -
- Sanjay (7/5): Good -
- Michael (7/5): Worked out great for a stay in town and very close to all the places in town. -
- Darlene (8/5): Awesome - Nice atmosphere. Clean just could have helped with screens in windows no AC Everything sharing other travellers
- Simon (9/5): See above - This is a property that sets the bar high for other properties in the area. Roy has really thought of everything a person could possibly need when in Churchill. The comfort, cleanliness and modern facilities all make a stay here memorable and nice touches like the washing machine and washing machine which with the way the weather can be is really useful to have. The rooms are all nicely decorated with warm comfy bedding. The TV is good and the wi fi is fast and very strong. Roy is really helpful, friendly and professional and quick to respond to emails and phone calls. If / when I’m in Churchill next I’ll be looking to stay here again. N/A
- Una (10/5): Would recommend the Beluga Beach House, Roy & Mary lovely welcoming hosts. Perfect place to walk around Churchill - Lovely, welcoming hosts.

- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (9/5): Cosy at the end of the world 😄 -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Great to be in Churchill again and to discover a comfy clean place to stay! - Well appointed, clean, comfortable. They had a very informative book about the history of Churchill that I really enjoyed perusing. Nothing- all was fine!
- Franklin (10/5): I've stayed in places all over the world and Beluga Beach House is by far the best! - Everything about this place is top notch! The rooms are big and comfortable as are the bathrooms and the location is close to eveything in town. Roy is an excellent host and was extremely helpful in resolving some issues for me. Nothing
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional - cleanliness everything was good
- Robin (9/5): Great house and owner - Newly renovated and a nice set up for complete amenities.
- Stephan (9/5): exceeded our expectations -
- Gareth (10/5): Exceptional - Great premises
Super friendly and helpful owners
- Anonymous (10/5): Tiny house but great enjoyment - 4 rooms in a house , the things in common area are free to use. Roy is a nice host who living in near the house. Many information about Churchill is poster in the notice board. Of course you can find Roy for any trip suggestion. Poor ventilation while cooking
- Maite (10/5): Exceptional, clean and comfortable. - The airbnb was really great! Very clean, the main shared kitchen area had everything you could think of, the showers were amazing, the heating system was great, great location, and Roy was extremely helpful and a great host. 100% will booked again if we come back to Churchill.
- Malek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dylan (10/5): Had a great time! Roy is wonderful! -
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional - Beluga Beach House is perfectly situated in town; easily walkable to the train station and anywhere else in town even in winter when I travelled. The facilites are perfect for the short stay of around 5 days that I had - there are shared bathrooms and a kitchen with other guests; I was fortunate to share with considerate guests which made this no problem at all. Walls are a touch thin so with less considerate guests noise could be a slight issue. The mattress could do with an upgrade.
- Dave (8/5): My stay was very disappointing no bears and no dancing lights just a grey line across the sky - I do not own a cell phone and there was no phone in the house
- Francis (10/5): Exceptional - Accommodation, meeting property owner
- Brian (9/5): A modern, clean, warm, conveniently situated place to stay. Recommended. - Well equipped and very clean kitchen. Clean and modern bathrooms. Good heating, plenty warm enough. Nice living area with a tv and a selection of games. Great location, very close to the middle of town. Somewhere to hang clothes in the bedroom would have been good. Just some extra hooks would have made a difference. Bed could have been more comfortable. An extra pillow would have been nice.
- Ryan (10/5): Awesome place to base yourself for polar bears - Roy was really helpful and the place is brand new so everything was clean and tidy. Had a great time at the beach house and kept warm despite the cold. It is pretty close to everything and you could quite easily cook there as everything needed is on hand. If you are a light sleeper then recommend earplugs as can hear the other guests due to it being so quiet outside.
