Heaven - We took our own breakfast, being picky eaters, the honey on offer was amazing, It was quiet, great air con. as it was a very hot weekend. We loved the chooks, and their eggs. It was 5 mins from the venue I was studying all weekend'\. Getting in and out of the driveway entry was a challenge until you got used to it

• Sally (9/5): - The location was serene and tranquil with the sounds of nature in abundance. The thunderstorms were awesome to experience and brought a cool breeze with them that was much appreciated. We had the fresh eggs for dinner and if we were not travelling back to Adelaide, we definitely would have bought some to take home...amaaazing. I didnt realise the toilet was far from the cabin. It was beautiful, but I found myself having to dodge cane toads at 3am in the morning and it was a little scary for me, even though the path was well lit and the bathroom was clean and protected.
• Lorraine (4/5): The idea was amazing the property however was below par - Large nice trees Lighting was flickering constantly hot water inconsistent Lounge extremely dirty common areas needed a good tidy up. Sign at front of property obscured vision of road dangerous exit.
• Joe (9/5): Peaceful and beautiful setting well appointed by nature. - Very peaceful place to stay with very welcoming hosts. Good access to major roads (you will need a car) to get to all the sites and attractions of the sunshine coast area. Cabin gives the feel of very much being in the bush, surrounded by birds and other wildlife. Some more detail on the guest information about locking the Picabeen cabin when away would have been useful. The weather was mild for our stay but I would be reluctant to stay without better fans in very hot weather.

• Michaela (10/5): Escape the sound and stress of the city - Beautiful nature surrounds, close enough to shops with a short drive but far enough to be in peace and quiet, robes provided made us feel luxurious when attending the facilities, short nature walk on the property which was fun to explore, pantry stocked with all different types of tea and coffee - felt very considered, TV, Wifi and board games- was an excellent stay.

• Kimberley (9/5): Absolutely beautiful and peaceful out in nature - We absolutely loved it here such a beautiful space, so peaceful and relaxing, loved listening to all the wildlife the hosts were so kind and accommodating It was quite uncomfortable without aircon as we went during the wet season so was extremely humid and hot. And the wifi didn’t work for 3 days so made it a little hard to organise transport as we didn’t have phone signal there. Other than that it was incredible and would definitely stay again

• Bryan (9/5): A stunning hinterland gem. - It's in a beautiful location surrounded by lush bushland with lots of birdlife. Very quiet and peaceful, good for zoning out of suburbia. I really enjoyed the tranquillity. Adding a full-size fridge and more cooking items like a wok and rice cooker would be ideal.

All you could hear was birds. The accommodation was just as they said. Loved the little bush walk with the fire pit. There was nothing to dislike.

The cottage was cosy, comfortable and super clean. Karleen and Dave have thought of and supplied everything you could need. From all you need for the perfect cuppa to shampoo/ conditioner and lush body wash. We thoroughly recommend Palmwoods Eco Retreat for a peaceful, comfortable and totally relaxing stay. n/a
