Penzion má příjemnou zahradu s bazénem a zákoutími pro posezení. Menší výhrady ke koupelně, které by neškodila občasná technická údržba (protékající sprchový kout).

• Martin (8/5): Empfehlendswert, gerne wieder. - Die Lage mitten in einem großen Park ist super. Der Garten mit Swimingpool ist perfekt auch für kleine Kinder. Supermarkt, ein Cafe und Restaurants sind gut erreichbar. Gegenüber gibt es einen schönen Biergarten mit kleiner Speisekarte. Der Strand ist schön, kinderfreundlich und in 10 min erreichbar. Auch dort haben wir ein empfehlendswertes Restaurant entdeckt. Die Stadt ist mit dem Bus oder einem lockeren Fußmarsch quer durch den Park leicht erreichbar. Fällt mir nichts ein.

• Christoph (9/5): Für Leute, die es ruhig mögen. - Kein Radau. Es ist weit weg von allen gefürchteten Goldstrand-Aktivitäten. Unser Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber mir hat es völlig gereicht. Die Matratze ist relativ dünn und relativ hart. Wir haben super geschlafen.

• Aron (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location: in the middle of the park and a 10-min walk to the beach. It has a swimming pool big enough for a small swimming round and/or simply refreshing. Incredibly friendly staff. The rooms were a bit improvised, in the sense that it was not originally designed as a hotel room. Still, the rooms were quaint and everything added up to a very pleasant stay.

• Tanya (6/5): A place of contrasts - The hosts are super friendly people, always available for our requests and provided help - quick and uncomplicated. We felt very welcome. The location is more than amazing, in the sea garden near everything you need. It’s a quiet location, despite it’s positioned near some clubs, the music has been turned down after midnight, so the area is pretty quiet at night. The cafe right in front of the building was a nice location to grab a coffee or something to eat. The garden is pretty and there are some vending machines for coffee and cold drinks. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and drying rack on the balcony, which was a nice addition. We spent our first nights in a room that was in an urgend need of renovation. There are some basic things that make a comfortable room and weren’t the case here: some of the electrical sockets were falling out of the wall, some weren’t charging at all, the bed and matress were old and uncomfortable, the bed squicked every time one of us turned over, the hair dryer wasn’t working (I received another one from the hosts super quickly though). There was some kind of old fridge in the room, which was turning on multiple times in the middle of the night making super loud noises from which I constantly woke up, which was the worst thing for me personally (as I am a pretty light sleeper). We extended our stay and had to move to another room for the last night, which was completely different from the previous one- renovated, with a perfect bathroom, everything working and a sea view (which is not my priority, but of course I was thankful for and must admit it was beautiful). I don’t have extremely high criteria for hotels and one must admit the price is pretty fine for the good location. But there are some basic criteria that a 3-star-rated accomodation should comply with in order to cover basic expectations and needs in 21st century and this was absolutely not the case with the first room (Nr.8) we were accomodated in. Other than that - a perfect location with nice and friendly hosts.

• Paul (9/5): Excellent host Maxim and a wonderful Black Sea view! - Host Maxim is a great, helpful and interesting person! Eating breakfast in his garden with that sea view is also wonderful. We booked a cheap room and it was a bit small, especially the bed. I would take a more expensive room option next time. I'd anytime re-visit this pension in Varna, it's a great and with public busses well communicated place a bit outside of town. There is also a good local Bulgarien food market (as opposed to supermarket food) a but uphill. Everything was fine, but I would book a more expensive room with a bigger double bed next time.

Would recommend. - The property is located within the wonderful Sea Garden Park, in close proximity to the beach, as well as several other interesting locations to explore. The garden looks amazing, very well taken care of by the owners, it was a great place to relax and enjoy the calming atmosphere. The room was clean and spatious and exceeded our expectations. We also loved all the animal inhabitants! :) The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. There was nothing that I did not like.

Close to multiple restaurants, bars and night clubs. Also right at the beach. So many activities to choose from. The house has a nice pool and a garden to hung out in. The stuff is wonderful, very kind, friendly and helpful. If I visit this place again will be just to support and appreciate the people who run this place. We were accommodated (3 people) in a very tiny room which is designed to be for 2 people the most and even for 2 people the room will still be very small. The room definitely needs some love and renovation in order to cover some basic needs and to be brought up to date. The bathroom door was not possible to close and was remaining a bit open (which was very uncomfortable considering the fact I was traveling with my kid), no window blinds on the bathroom window, very old bed linen and bath towels, not enough pillows etc.

There is also a nice bar across the street. As for the room, small but well equipped. The air conditioning works well. The hosts are very friendly. The beach is a 5-minute walk. The city center is a 25-minute walk. Supermarket about 15 minutes walk. There is no access to the kitchen.

• Kiarra (10/5): Excellent few days away at the beach! - This villa was in the perfect location, it was in the Sea Garden right near some restaurants and food stands. It was a 5min walk down to the beach and 15min walk into town. Easy check in and check out, we were able to store luggage for the day before our flight.

• Haydn (6/5): We would go again, but would insist on a different room. - The location of the hotel is great, in the huge park, restaurant's close by, the Dolphinarium / Zoo close by also. The staff were very nice, there is a Bar/Café opposite with area's for children to play, animals to look at eg Rabbits, Terrapins, birds, Parrot, Hedgehog. There was free car parking next to the Hotel. There is a shuttle bus that runs from the Zoo to the Central entrance of the Sea Garden (not far from the Port of Varna) By the description and pictures used on the site we were expecting things that our room didn't have... There were no Curtains on the windows, no Kettle, no Hairdryer (we had to ask for one, which they did supply), no Balcony, no Clothes drying rack, the WiFi didn't work in our room (the signal was too weak) The cupboard and drawer space for clothing was very small. The room was in the attic so the ceiling was very low at one end of the room. Couldn't open the windows due to metal railings blocking the window frame

• Costi (9/5): Good choice for accommodation in Varna, on the Black Sea - My wife and I stayed at the Villa Maxim for a week. The location is perfect, in the middle of Primorski Park, a green oasis of the city. The room, although in the attic, is large enough (it is for three people) and has all the facilities of the description, except the kettle, which was missing. The Wi-Fi signal is very good. Although there is an air conditioner, we did not use it, as the room is quite cool. At an outside temperature of 28-30 degrees, the air coming through the open window was enough. The guesthouse also has a swimming pool, but we didn't use it, preferring to go to the beach. In conclusion, the Villa Maxim guesthouse is a very good choice for spending a few days at the Black Sea, in a beautiful and welcoming city. I have nothing to complain about, even if not all the staff speak English, but the bartenders at guesthouse's Maxim cafe, do.

• Moore (10/5): Fabulous walk in varna park - The very friendly staff. The lady knew my flight was in the evening, and she suggested I use the room for the whole day as it was going to be vacant. I would definitely come back again. It's situated in varna park, which was safe and wonderful to walk through at all times day and night. A short walk to the beach and free hit spring too. I am happy to recommend this hotel. My window didn't have curtains, only net curtains and fly screen. Though I didn't really find it a problem, its nice to close off the room and have complete privacy.

• Yanna (10/5): Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing holiday - The location is in the centre of a park that never ends. Brilliant for walking and sightseeing. It's also very close to the beach you can just walk. Staff are very kind and friendly. Polly is very helpful and kind. She even accommodated us being late to check in as our flight was delayed. My daughter absolutely love Polly. The villa is so beautiful we are definitely coming back here. We had the best holiday here. Nothing. It's a lovely place and the people are nice.
