Guest Reviews
- Francis (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - beautiful views and so peaceful with fairy wrens flitting about. -
- John (9/5): An absolutely spectacular view and pristine accommodation. - I could move in tomorrow Nothing
- Christine (10/5): This is one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in. - One of the very few Airbnbs with sustainability in mind. There is even an organic bin provided. The whole studio is tastefully furnished and well equipped.
- Alexander (10/5): -
- Maurice (9/5): Very comfortable, and a great place to spend a very wet afternoon. - A windy route getting there, but a marvellous outlook overlooking the valley. Homegrown eggs and honey a bonus. We'd been warned about the steep access steps, but they'd been improved since the photo on the website. Not much!

- John (9/5): Absolutely fabulous, really. -
- BH (10/5): Lovely Views - We enjoyed our two nights in this nicely presented studio with lovely artworks. It's well equipped for uncomplicated self catering and includes thoughtful extras such as slippers. It has a very pleasant rural outlook that's good for bird watching. We were in Lismore to ride the rail trail from there to Casino. We recommend both the accommodation and the rail trail.
- Travis (9/5): -
- Mohammed (10/5): -
- Stephens (9/5): Superb - The accommodation was like a tranquil piece of paradise. You wouldn't know you were close to a city. It was spacious with a vast supply of kitchen facilities such as kettle, microwave and stove.
The bathroom was a good size. The hosts Cameron and Maya were accommodating and friendly. I left feeling refreshed.
- Kathleen (10/5): Peaceful, Beautiful, Exceeds Expectations - A stunning and peaceful location, immaculate studio and so many thoughtful touches that just made this stay incredible. The view is incredible, the apartment is spotlessly clean and Cameron and Maya have given such careful thought to provide absolutely everything you could possibly need - outstandingly well equipped unit. The bed is also one of the comfiest I have ever slept on and the garden is beautiful! If you love strong water pressure, the shower may let you down a little and water through the pump system can take a while to get hot (it didn't really bother me). Internet access was patchy, but I brought my own fast cellular which solved that issue.
- Benjamin (10/5): Super friendly and welcoming. - Simply beautiful. An awesome garden that the owners were happy to tell us all about and walk around in. Great variety of plants plus bee hives, sheep, great birdlife. Excellent views of paddocks and nearby hills. Everything was excellent.
- Mandy (9/5): An enjoyable two nights. Very comfy and all we needed for our short stay. -
- Brad (10/5): Relaxing, peaceful and quiet - Great views and location, Cameron was an excellent host , will come back again!
- Pamela (9/5): Comfortable, relaxing studio - A beautiful studio with far reaching views. We found it so relaxing. The studio was really well equipped and very comfortable. Nothing.
- Denise (9/5): A lovely stay in a lovely area with welcoming hosts. - Home away from home, with a view. The stairs down to the unit - but we were warned. A rustic handrail would be good.
- Naomi (10/5): Paradise-like place you will not want to leave - What can I say about a perfect place? The room is beautiful and has everything you need and more, the house is beautiful, and the garden and surroundings are like a little paradise with rosellas visiting every now and then. The host is super friendly, gave us some tasty home-made honey and liquor, and is very helpful. Definitely recommended for both a short or long getaway. We'd love to come back one day! We couldn't stay longer.
- Bernard (8/5): Very good -
- Christine (10/5): I will be back! -
- Shiena (10/5): Wonderful few days. - The studio was perfect! Nothing!
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carolyn (10/5): Absolute gem of a find! - Didn't want to leave for work each day - such a welcoming & peaceful stay. The bed was so comfortable & lovely touches made this studio a real treat! The chooks were delightful. 😊 Cameron's honey was delicious & he was a wonderful host. Thank you - we hope to be back for a longer relaxation.
- Heidi (10/5): Beautiful view, lovely clean home with everything you need. And such thoughtful little touches. - Really beautiful little spot with such thoughtful touches.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - It felt like home. Fantastic range of equipment for the kitchen. We set up the table to face out the windows and watched the birds coming to feed in the calistomens while we ate breakfast. Sat in the outdoor area in the afternoon and watched the birds, chickens and the mountains in the distance.
- Dougan-jones (9/5): Superb - So convenient with a great view
- Graeme (9/5): Wonderful place to stay in great location - Magnificent view from edge of suburbs over farmland to distant mountains - it felt like a rural retreat. Very peaceful and productive as well, with chickens, sheep, and a hive, We enjoyed the honey, and also the sample of Cameron's excellent rum. The studio was extremely well equipped and had an extensive range of cooking supplies. The steps down to the entrance were not a problem, especially as Cameron helped with our bags
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional - Great views
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Wietske (10/5): Great place to find some peace... - I loved the view and calm zen kind of experience. The studio had everything I needed and more and I love the way it is created, its a clever setup with everything you may wish for.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - I loved my stay. It was beautiful, clean and felt like home. Thank you so much. The animals made it even more welcoming.
- Debbie (10/5): 👍 -
- Wietske (10/5): Beautiful cosy studio! - The view is amazing and the whole environment feels relaxing... The hosts were very friendly and they make you feel like you are at home... The studio is amazing, bed very comfortable and little seats outsite on veranda are a great option to enjoy the view...
- Leesa (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely peaceful getaway very close to Lismore , but you feel like you're miles away.
- Richard (9/5): Lovely stay. Loved the complementary gin. I now have an obsession with gin and tonic. - Loved the stay. Would go back again. Nothing to dislike at all. Nothing to dislike really.
- Sue (10/5): Spending a weekend at the Studio was just the tonic I needed to recharge my batteries - Everything. The tranquillity, location, views. Loved looking at the garden. Cameron and Maya are great hosts Nothing spending
- Jeff (9/5): Clean and comfortable. Friendly hosts. -
- Mel (7/5): Good -
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - Very peaceful with fantastic views! Lots of thought has gone into the layout and furniture and the hosts were so friendly!
- Chantal (8/5): Nice comfortable stay - Location was excellent
- Carri (10/5): It was a relaxing stay, perfect for when you need to recharge - Beautiful location, wonderful views. Excellent facilities! Cameron was an excellent host
- Tracey (10/5): Perfect place to stay beautiful scenery, private, clean, comfy. Very relaxing - We liked the outlook of the property beautiful views and the studio was perfect had everything we needed very well set up. Spotlessly clean. Hosts were very accomodating and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay here again. We had nothing that we didn’t like.
- Russell (10/5): Amazing place would stay again - Beautiful pristine a wonderful place to stay More water pressure but your on a farm so it’s be expected so really wasn’t a disappointment
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was fantastic, Maya and Cameron were extremely friendly and welcoming hosts. We absolutely loved our stay. Nothing!
- Rosemary (10/5): Clean, cosy and very pretty - The view is so relaxing and quiet at night. You wake gently to the slow natural sounds of birds and hens, not an alarm which scares you awake. The decoration with nice little touches. The bathroom floor tiles is so pretty and feels so nice on bare feet. And the most thoughtful and practical touch of all, two bathroom floor towels, one of which is fluffy. I have not been to a place which offers two pieces.
Kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils, cutlery, oil, salt and pepper. The bonus is the harvested honey, which we used about half a bottle. Owner is provides cow's milk and soy milk. Lots of storage space (walk in wardrobe) and counter space on the vanity.
Very clean, cosy and well equipped place. Highly recommended. I see people commenting about the steps and high platform bed. They were fine. The steps are lit up at night, and in daylight, it is not that dangerous or tricky. I have no problem getting on or off the bed, as I stepped on the edge to get on. Pillows are a little too flat though. Not enough hooks in the bathroom, as I use toiletries bags with hooks on them, and can't find any place to hand them. Hooks are located outside the bathroom, which makes it inconvenient to access my toiletries bags.
- Kylie (10/5): Lovely stay - Is far nicer than the photos! Very cosy, everything you need.. excellent coffee machine.. Cody bed, good wifi.. Lovely bathroom. Beautiful views. Hosts were very quiet, so despite it being on their property it felt very private.
- John (9/5): We are coming back - Great views of rural NSW. The apartment is a prefect size with great facilities If I change something it would be the steep drive and staircase to the apartment, but that is unrealistic given it’s location
- Trainor (10/5): Brilliant because it enabled me to do what I wanted to do. Relax and recharge - Quiet and the view as described was great and refreshing Certainly there is enough notice given about access to the accommodation but I think that a hand rail to accommodate accessing it would be a safety feature that may need to be looked at.
- Del (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gina (10/5): Great - Everything, very clean and quite. The pillows could provide more suppport
- Teresa (10/5): Views to die for, worth navigating the tricky driveway - The view from the room is amazing, the first night there was a beautiful sunset ! The location was a bit out of the way, but not too far from Lismore CBD.
- Ianjamesoz (8/5): Very good - Lovely views. Quiet location. Great having Google TV. Room layout is not very practical... I had to move couch watch TV... TV bracket angle doesn't rotate so you can't watch TV in bed.
Bed on angle takes up lots of space. Raised bed makes it awkward to get into.
Stairs are dangerous.
- Taylor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Talitabeyer (10/5): I could relax and enjoy the nature. The view is fantastic. - It was exactly what I was looking for, because it is in a very quite area, surrounding of nature. Perfect place to relax.
- Helena (10/5): Best calm and peaceful unit - The best place to go while on residential for uni. The unit is situated in a fantastic, calm and quiet street overlooking a valley with farm life. I met the house dog, who came and gave me such a warm welcome. The tiny details: fresh posie of garden flowers in the bathroom, choice of milk, coffee beans for a real coffee, even been gifted fruit from the garden ❤.
Anything you could want or need for an overnight stay has been catered for. There is even an outside nook overlooking the garden with a bbq provided. And so much more...
If I could rate them a 12 out of 10, I would.
Absolutely exceptional! Nothing, I couldn't fault anything.
- Gabrielle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tina (10/5): Lovely place to stay. - The rural setting. Alot of thought gone into the design and decor of the studio which is beautifully decorated. Loved the little things like the vase in the bathroom with flowers from the garden. Everything you needed was there for a perfect getaway.
- Maree (10/5): Peaceful and good for the soul - Views and amenities nothing
- Peter (9/5): very pleasant and well appointed - quiet access
- Junyi (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and cozy with beautiful hinterland views none
- Lalith (8/5): Very good - Excellent location comfortable accommodation and friendly owners Hope the leading steps to the apartment be improved including hand rails.
- Anonymous (10/5): Loved it - definitely recommend staying - Beautiful outlook, clean and all mod coms
- Joerris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lee-anne (10/5): Sit Back and Relax in a Peaceful Studio - The studio is a quiet and tranquil place to stay in the Lismore area, overlooking the valley to the mountains, that you can sit back and view through the two very large sliding door/windows. The view is only enhanced by the bird song that comes from the vey happy birds enjoying Maya beautiful garden. She has created magnificent gardens to surround the home enticing all types of birds to the home. The studio is equipped with all that you need for a relaxed stay, you just have to sit back and unwind. Close to the township of Lismore and within short drives to wonderful tourist destinations. Cameron and Maya our very gracious hosts who are more than happy to help or have a chat.
- Angela (10/5): exceptional relaxing - comfortable, private, quiet, clean nothing
- Bruce (9/5): Enjoyed our stay. - Without a google app on our phone it was hard to find as we arrived as the sun went down. But our host found us at the Japanese restaurant (43rd wedding anniversary & guided us to home. He then helped us carried our stuff down to the studio, which is down 18 steps. The steps for old folks.
- Conor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (10/5): Very enjoyable and highly recommend - Very comfortable and professional. Would highly recommend 😊
