Wenn man die richtigen Leute noch in der Unterkunft hat, hat man Abends in der Lounge schöne Möglichkeiten sich zu Unterhalten. Der Kaffee ist zu empfehlen. Mal kein Instantkaffee wie üblich. Mein Auto stand auf der Straße, da kein Platz vor dem Haus war. Das Zimmer hat keinen Schlüssel... Vertrauen ist gut, aber nicht wenn ich viel Elektronik dabei habe...

• Aram (10/5): Entspannung Pur - Sehr saubere, cool eingerichtete Unterkunft mit sehr netten Mitarbeitern. Wir hatten tolle 2 Nächte dort und wären gerne länger geblieben. Der Strand ist direkt ums Eck, das Schlafzimmer war sehr gemütlich, die Küche war top ausgestattet mit guten Pfannen und einen tollen Grill und Cedric war immer da für uns wenn wir was gebraucht haben. Falls wir nochmals die Chance haben nach Agnes Water zu kommen, werden wir definitiv wieder diese Unterkunft buchen!

Has a wonderfully large deck surrounded by lush vegetation. Nice! The advertisement says beach front. Somewhat misleading. Had a bit of a walk to get to the beach. Low lighting in bedroom makes it hard for visually challenged. I had to use my phone torch to read my book. Hand soap in bathroom.had run out in two bottles. TV in bedroom had no reception and was not actually switched on at wall.

• Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - James was welcoming and so attentive. The room, bathroom and common areas were very clean and comfortable. It is central to agnes waters, everywhere was walkable. I has a very relaxed vibe with loads of common areas to socialise with other guests or have your own space. I really enjoyed my time there and would 100% book again next time I visit.

Bed was comfortable. 1 bathroom was a little inconvenience but to be expected when staying in a shared house. You are expected to have a lot of trust in the other house mates as you couldn't secure your room.

• Lena (10/5): Exceptional - Best ‚hostel‘ I’ve ever stayed at! It’s a sanctuary for peace and quiet inbetween all the traveling. The house is clean, very spacious and the veranda is the perfect spot to chill. It’s a 10min walk/2min drive to the beach. Parking available on site. Great communication with James too! I can only recommend and would definitely stay again any time.

If you want to relax and a nice stop in between Hervey bay and Airlie Beach this is a nice little town. If I had some tiny suggestions, I would give the guest the option for a high and low pillows. Now there where many high pillows. But that's a personal preference.

Postcard was a lovely touch. The walk straight to the beach behind the house wasn't open, but that was fine as location was good anyway.

• Lewis (10/5): Exceptional - Great stay at James place, we were made to feel welcome from the very start. We arrived in the early morning and were shown to our room to rest and freshen up. The house was spacious, had everything we needed and was in a great location. The kitchen was well equiped had a pantry with spices and oils which was appreciated, James even gave us some eggs from his chickens for breakfast in the morning which were delicious! There were bikes to rent for a very reasonable price which made getting around super easy too. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Showers were great and kitchen had everything you need. We even did a wash! Only thing I would consider is not having a/c. There was a fan in the room but it was quite hot.

Not entirely sure this should be a shared space, I was a solo traveller and a family arrived and made themselves very at home, with their kids coming over and it all just felt a bit awkward. Like I was staying at their place. I think this should be an Air bnb single unit rental for families. It’s not a hostel or a hotel so bit confused.
