A friendly host but not intrusive. After a day out and returning in the dark, something like a sensor light at the beginning of the path accessing the accommodation would have been really helpful

Everything was new, clean, and very well maintained. The sofa was very comfortable for our children and was thoughtfully prepared with bed sheets and a blanket, which we really appreciated. The studio had great facilities, including a kettle, toaster, iron, TV, and microwave — everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was quiet and peaceful, and we had a deep, high-quality sleep. We truly felt refreshed during our time here.

• sean (4/5): I’d look elsewhere - Location Parking on street was a lottery, rain made the path to the unit tricky ,internet was down so no Netflix or wifi and heavy square furniture made for lots of bruises and the friendly dog was a constant with barking

It's nice layout, lighting, and calming decor make it easy to unwind, and get relaxed. We really enjoyed our stay over there and would recommend it to anyone who needs to be away from the chaos of a busy lifestyle. -

All basic amenities covered - bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery, plates/bowels, coffee/milk, body wash. Great hot shower with good water pressure. Quiet location close to centre of town. Studio has own access down path beside house to big leafy backyard, trees visible from all windows. Heater and extra blanket for comfort. Met the kind person briefly on arrival as I'd booked last minute and they were just opening the space. They were helpful, polite but left quickly, which was appreciated. It felt like a safe, secure and private space. There is a very big and friendly dog, but only saw them on arrival and when leaving. Didn't hear him otherwise. Liked everything. This was one of the nicest and easiest places I've stayed in Mullum, where some areas of town are very noisy.

• Maarten (9/5): Excellent, would like to stay again! - Very well appointed studio at the back of the owner’s house accessible via well lit and maintained stone pathway to the side of the house. Comfortable bed, couch and plenty of cupboard space and all amenities for kitchenette in room. Huge bathroom. Comfortable temperature due to large ceiling fan, aircon available but not needed in this time of the year. Fully screened, so can leave windows open. Small sitting area on deck. Very private feel, comfortable for overnight or a couple of days stay. Kitchen and laundry available in the main house, but had no use for that. Friendly dog named Curly and his owner Jim, who came to greet us. He even rang us when on our way to let us know he would be out by the time we’d arrive. Parking on grass in front of house under large poinciana tree.

Easy access to washing facility and dryer (if you need) - we used wide open verandah for hanging our washing. Easy organisation and check in Suggest some tea towels be left and a facility (apart from the bathroom sink) to wash dishes. Better TV and internet instructions. Less barking of home dog when entering and leaving the premises. Dog is lovely however might be disconcerting for other guests....
