• Sonia (2/5): Nothing Romantic about the Romance Room - ALL shared amentinities - The sauna We did not receive our breakfast, people were cutting down large tree branches above our room for over 2 hours upon arrival (they could see me in the bathroom). There was a green scum algae ring in the shared hot tub, the bathrobes were small and stiff, we were told to take out our own garabage, recycing and do dishes when you leave in am and we paid a lot of money to stay there. Room was always cold and damp. No tv accès only use your personal netflix, for the price and the fact that its the romance room... the "cottage room" got the private hottub and private firepit not us (cottage cheaper that night also). Check out is not 11am like most places its 10am and you still have to get your chores done and leave on time. Great "Romance" Room!

• Helen (8/5): We enjoyed it, but will probably look elsewhere for more convenience in the kitchen area. - The cottage was charming, along with its small deck. The breakfast bar was fine. It was quiet, and beaches were easy to drive to. The hottub was a nice change, clean and easy to use. The refrigerator was awful. It froze my hard-boiled eggs, and some of the fruit and veg. we brought with us. The freezer section was good though. The walkway to the door was too narrow for anyone with accessibility issues.

• P (10/5): I would definitely recommend this place for a nice vacation to relax and get re-energized. Hoping to come back sometime - We had a great relaxing time at Port Franks getaway. From the moment we got into the Romantic Suite cottage, there was a calming music playing on the background, we saw a beautiful and clean cottage with meticulous details around it like champagne, freshly bread loaf and fun size chocolates! It’s was our first time in Lambton Shores and we were impressed with lots of nature with calm surroundings. Jim and Katie were very kind to lend us their bikes so we didn’t have to pack ours, we enjoyed very much our bike rides. We also took advantage of the sauna and hot tub that were available for us, we particularly liked the privacy when using them. We also enjoyed the Grand Bend beach which was just a 10-15 minutes drive. We liked everything, however a few minor suggestions that could help future guests: 1)additional cabinet or storage in the washroom 2) storage or an area maybe in the bedroom area to put the suitcases/ travel bags. 3) A plug for the island for the small appliances as the current one is close to the sink
