To complete your reservation, it is necessary to deposit 50% of the total amount directly to our stablishments bank account; Bancolombia savings account number 916-00001376 and secure your stay with us!

- natalia (5/5): linda vista pero no es lo que esperaba - la vista es increíble el ruido en la noche, yo quería tranquilidad y había fiesta. No había motos para bajar y debí hacerlo caminando, pero no me avisaron y quedé corta de tiempo. No hay parqueadero, dejar el carro al lado de la carretera no es un parqueadero "privado" como le llaman.

Amazing sunsets and views on the horizon, which is perfect to relax in this hot weather. The volunteering staff is very friendly and welcoming, quick shootout to the French volunteer :). - Milena (9/5): - Die Lage und der Blick sind einfach unglaublich. Man ist mitten in der Natur, das Hostel ist simpel aber schön und die Atmosphäre ist einfach toll. Ich hätte ewig dort bleiben können. An zwei Abenden wurde laut Musik aufgelegt, und da das Hostel klein und mitten auf dem Berg ist, konnte man dem auch nicht ausweichen. Dadurch wurde die sonst sehr friedliche Atmosphäre leider etwas gestört

Pero Te recomiendo más el hostel Nuiwi si quieres realmente un lugar tranquilo y cómodo con lindas vistas Para subir y bajar al hostal se tiene que pagar una moto que cuesta 20mil COP, lo cual no te previenen antes de hacer la reserva! Muy mal Los toldillos están en muy mas condición, pedí que lo cambiaran y no lo tuvieron en cuenta, sabiendo que hay muchos mosquitos. La comida muy cara, aprovechan que no ha lugares cerca para cobrar lo que quieran. No se descansa nada, ha buen ambiente fiestero pero si quieres descansar no es el lugar. Pues hay huéspedes que llegan borrachos o drogados a las 2am y despiertan a los demás o se ponen agresivos, y el hostel tampoco hace nada.

- Iván (10/5): Vistas hermosas! - La vista es hermosa. Hay una vista panorámica completa hacia el mar y las montañas. El acceso es un poco complicado pero la vista y la tranquilidad del lugar valen la pena .

- Paul (10/5): Stunning views - The view is stunning and the swimming pool is nice to refresh. Staff is very helpful and kind. You need to walk a uphill to go there but they provide motorcycles to do that also.

Les travaux des qu on arrive puis ensuite en face la chambre .Ils construisent de où elles chambres mais n’améliorent pas pour autant celles existantes (pas de porte manteaux ,armoire bancale ,grand jour sous la porte laissant passer le chat dans la nuit ,salle de bain avec poubelle cassée et cabossée laissée sur un muret ,avec le seau de lavage, pas de savon ,porte manteaux trop petits , les prix qui ont flambés par rapport à l an dernier de plus de 52% pour le menu du jour !!)

- Holger (10/5): super schön - dieses Hostel ist wirklich etwas ganz besonderes, die Lage, die Aussicht auf die karibische Küste, das Personal, das Frühstück, aber auch die Küche insgesamt, ganz besonders zu empfehlen: Cerviche da wir mit dem Inhaber Max befreundet sind, waren wir 8 Nächte dort, sicher eine absolute Ausnahme für ein Hostel, wir haben es nicht bereut, auch die Aktivitäten "Kaffeefarm"; "Wasserfälle" und "paragliding" haben uns begeistert da gibt es einfach nichts

We are paragliding pilots so for us it was a paradise since there is private take off. Jesse and Francesca look after you to organize tours and events. Do not miss this place. Use mototaxi to go up, it’s part of the vibe Great staff

El lugar en general es precioso y la atención es muy buena. Es un lugar perfecto para una escapada y para desconectar. La habitación privada olía a humedad y la cama era muy pequeña. La subida la hicimos en mototaxi pero es una locura, si volviera a subir, lo haría andando.

Podrían reubicar el parlante donde está la fiesta o bajar un poco el volumen. Del resto, todo estuvo perfecto.

Muy malo el camino hacia el Hostel, viajé con mi madre y abuela y en la moto que nos transportó mi abuela se cayó dos veces y sigue enferma aún. Entonces me parece muy mal que no especifiquen la dificultad de llegada al hostel antes de reservar, no es un lugar apto para adultos mayores.

Es un super lugar para desconectarse y probar sus cócteles La tarifa de las motos para poder trasladarse es algo costosa, que no tiene nada que ver con el hostal pero es importante contemplar que por su ubicación en la montaña se hace casi que necesario pagar transporte

Only worth staying if get a good deal booking.com. Due to accessibility, it is difficult to leave. Very difficult to reach hostel (not recommended for anyone with any medical conditions). Very hot during day and night - No fans AT ALL throughout property. Power and water outages common. Alot of bugs in bathrooms (somewhat expected). They offer free cocktail in exchange for a good reviews online.

- Juliet (7/5): everest in colombia - a stunning hostel with an unbelievable view!! i could stare at the jungle all day and the sunset is fabulous. the staff were incredibly friendly and really down to earth, warm and welcoming. yummy free breakfast and a varied menu. honestly worth staying here just for the view and the staff. gorgeous outdoor showers and cuddly dogs & cats everywhere! THE HILL😭. do not underestimate this climb. it’s no everest but it really discourages you from leaving the place if you plan on going on day trips. the hostel often had prolonged power cuts and for nearly 24 hours had no running water at all. not ideal especially when the place is so isolated! the location ideally would make it the perfect place for peace and quiet, but there was loud reggaeton music playing at all hours of the day. facilities were cleaned often but the hostel is very integrated into the jungle so expect bugs, dirt and mosquito bites everywhere. despite all this, i still had a fantastic and comfortable time so i’d still highly recommend!

- CARLOS (1/5): no pudimos usar la reserva - la vista no pudimos utilizar la reserva porque el hotel solo tiene acceso en trocha inclinada 20min o moto 7min(camino extremo) no aptos para personas de edad o problemas en la columna. (en realidad solo se puede llegar en moto) nadie coge la trocha a pie porque esta siendo exlclusivamente utilizada por motos que suben a velocidad, no pueden ir despacio las motos porque la trocha es literalmente un camino demasiado empinado. Supuestamente la descripcion del hotel dice que tiene acceso vehicular, pero no especifican que solo pueden subir carros 4X4. No había carro de apoyo en el momento de nuestra llegada. Literalmente Nos tocó dormir en el carro parqueado en la playa 4 horas y regresarnos sin dormir bien a barranquilla.

- François (10/5): Incroyable et unique !! - Un Hostel pas comme les autres ! Situé dans la montagne, le chemin pour y accéder est très sensationnel. Arrivée la haut, c’est juste le bonheur. La vue est à couper le souffle, le personnel chaleureux et souriant (Valeria et ses collègues sont top), et la nourriture délicieuse ! Un vrai coin de paradis !

La habitación estaba empolvada, el toldillo estaba sucio del paso que dejan los animalitos, en las duchas compartidas habían papeleras que no limpiaban constantemente, las habitaciones son pequeñas , los colchones y las almohadas están desgastados, a excepción de las zonas comunes el resto de zonas están en un estado regular
- Rosimary (10/5): Una vista preciosa - Me gustaron las instalaciones, el lugar es muy hermoso, lo que más destacó es la atención que tuvo la recepcionistas la verdad es muy resolutiva y empatica. Todo me gustó, pero sería chévere que tuviera espejo en las habitaciones

- Anthony (8/5): Overall, a solid hostel experience for a couple of nights. - Hostel was very fine for the price and location. The pool is good and it comes with breakfast (although it is very small). The staff is very nice and after talking with the owner, he seems like a good guy with a good project. There is GREAT hiking nearby and I recommend hiking up to the restaurant at the Miradora. Well, as everyone notes, the climb to the hostel is brutal, which is fine except it doesn't create a good environment to come and go. Once there, you're not compelled to leave and because it's not very accessible, the costs are a bit high and there is no kitchen to cook, no bin to wash clothes and, when I washed by hand, I wasn't allowed to hang them on the empty clothes line.
- Anca (10/5): Exceptional - This hostel is beautifully made and decorated, with many secret nooks on different levels and great chill out spaces with benches, lounge chairs and hammocks. There's even a cute bridge reaching a small pirate ship deck. It is located high up on the mountain (which means a steep 10min climb), but the view is absolutely worth the sweat... Or you can take a moto taxi up to avoid the trekk. Also, be prepared for the normal pesky insects found in these hot climates with enough repellent. The infinity-type pool looks out to the sea and the surrounding lush forest. The pool's bench-type design is perfect to take in the view while enjoying a cocktail. This is an amazing place for bird watching (colibrí, parrots, birds of prey, etc), as the birds actually fly lower and it's possible to see them from above. My dorm has 13 beds each with it's mosquito net, but it's super spacious, with a lot of air flow from the windows and plenty of lockers. The mattress and pillow are very comfy and because of the heat a sheat is enough to cover at night. Theres plenty of showers and toilets, but my favourite is the outdoor shower that opens out to the abundan tropical vegetation. The hostel has a bar and restaurant with a good range of food options at good prices. The hamburger was a good size and tasted delicious! They also have fun activities which you can book - paragliding, tubing, horseriding and cacao & coffee tours. The staff is very friendly and helpful when I asked for recommendations or when I had other requests. I came here to escape the busy city life, relax, enjoy the view and nature, read a book and re-energise. I felt at peace here and would come back! I'd also be curious to see this place during a festival (they had one in March), as I think it's a sick venue for parties.

- Gareth (10/5): A true tree house in the sky with amazing views while soaring with the birds. - A tree house in the sky which is amazingly well run by Romina and all the staff. Reaching for the sky presents its challenges but the rewards are worth the effort when you get to soar with the birds. World class views worthy of the effort. Nothing except reaching for then sky presents its challenges which are more than rewarded by the amazing views.

- Anacris (2/5): Very poor - Everything felt super shady from the moment I arrived. Just to clarify, it’s a very steep uphill walk of more than 20 minutes — you can take a motorbike, but I chose to walk because I felt it was unsafe on a bike (the mototaxis know the way and do it well, it was just a personal preference). Once I got there, tired, the staff was not welcoming at all. After asking them to charge me for just one night and them refusing (which was my mistake because I could’ve handled that through Booking), they charged me the festival rate they were hosting. The manager claimed she had informed me about it, which is not true, and after offering me a “discount,” I still had to pay the equivalent of more than one night’s stay for a festival I didn’t want to attend. I asked if there would be any quiet time, and they said yes just to keep me happy — but that wasn’t the case. The next morning, more than half of my dorm mates left because the music never stopped and no one could sleep. I also left for a couple of nights because I had to work and needed to sleep. Speaking of the facilities, they’re not in good condition for the price you pay: the mosquito nets are torn, the pillows and mattress are uncomfortable, and the door slams every time there’s wind. It was very hard for me to get any rest there, and I didn’t feel the quality-price ratio was fair.

- Anna (10/5): Puerto Alto is the perfect place to relax but there are also a lot of fun activities close by like paragliding, surfing - The hostel was very pretty as well as the view. Felt like a little paradise on top of a mountain. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well.

- Josephine (9/5): Superb - It was on the top of a mountain and to get there we took a short hike. Our luggage was taken by motorbike because we carried suitcases not backpacks. Once you made it to the top, the view was amazing 🤩 the jungle and in the distance the sea. It was beautiful! The food, we eat vegetarian/vegan, was delicious. They offer mainly mainstream options but it was not a problem to eat vegetarian/vegan. There is also a pool from where to enjoy the amazing views! Very chill out atmosphere 😎 As you are in the jungle you can expect any animal visiting the room. We had 3 tarantulas when we went to bed. The staff helped us and took care of it so we were able to sleep. They have DJ live music sessions, sometimes. The time we stayed there and if you are into it it's great but if not it can get a bit tiring as they started early in the evening.
- Aaron (8/5): Great place to spend a few days, it’s worth the walk! - The location, the staff and the food were great. The cabins were beautiful, and the whole layout was great and the views were second to none. We were really welcomed by staff and even had a party with them. There’s no windows in the property, this is great for the views and the feels but if you’re not a fan of bugs this stay will be a challenge.
