• Richard Aitken (10/5): - Maria's Place was amazing, and so was Maria. Maria welcomed us into the property. It was absolutely spotless. Every single corner, every surface, and every room was in perfect condition, and it was amazing to stay in. It felt like home as soon as we walked in. Maria was so friendly, so approachable, and the rest of her family were so accommodating also. You will not be disappointed to stay in her beautiful accommodation. Their family run accommodation have thought of every eventuality, even down to a travel sewing kit, which I used it to fix a hole in an item. The location was brilliant. It was very authentic. Our meals out were true local Cyprus food. There was nothing about our stay that we would have changed... apart from this, we wish we could have stayed longer.. NOTHING....

Nothing beats a fresh juice from different oranges, pomelos, lemons to start your day! Spotless room, modern bathroom, private parking right in front.

• Carlota (10/5): 10/10. Go book it! - It’s a pleasure to review this stay because it was excellent. The apartment was spotless, with a verandah that made our mornings genuinely enjoyable. Maria is a wonderful host; she invited us to try her oranges, which we picked straight from the tree, and we turned them into delicious fruit salads and juices. We cooked in the kitchen every day and it was easy thanks to her attention to detail. The house is newly renovated and you can tell real thought went into it. It’s also a great base for the Aphrodite and Adonis trails, as well as for visiting Droushia and the nearby villages. The street is quiet and the bed is very comfortable, so getting a good night’s sleep is a given. Everything was great.

• Lottie (10/5): Exceptional! - Everything! We were given a few lovely goodies in our fridge for when we arrived, location wise is perfect & the property is beautiful & exceptionally clean. The outside terrace is a lovely place to relax & it’s beautifully kept. Maria was lovely and welcoming. We would 10000% stay again as this was our first time after visiting polis for many many years. Nothing! The only thing we would keep in mind next time is that our floors needed brushing and mopping more due to a messy toddler haha! We tried to keep on top of them

It is cozy, well equipped and It has a beautiful garden with flowers, orange and lemon trees and separate small terrace where you can have your meals. We loved it so much!

All very clean. Excellent value for money. 10 mins walk to beach in one direction and 10 mins to town restaurants in the other. Great bakery a couple of minutes walk away on a small roundabout. All very spacious, light and airy but also cozy and welcoming. Really, liked everything. Especially, adorable cat. Convenient for bus station. All was lovely. Hot water seemed dependent on solar and we had a couple of cloudy days. But that is just a little niggle. We really loved our stay there

• Avraam (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed for 3 nights at Maria's place and we can't be more happy about out choice. Just wishing we stayed longer. The word describing our experience is "exceptional". The private cottage has very nice vibes with cute garden and tranquil atmosphere. Interior and exterior was very clean and well maintained up to high standards. Property offers lots of amenities which were very practical for our stay - washing machine, drying rack, fully equipped kitchen; and many other which we haven't used such us TV, books, table games. Owner Maria welcomed us like family and met all out requirements plus was flexible with arranging later check-out. This is a great place for short or long term stay for couples especially. Nothing to complain about

• Sarah (8/5): Overall we were very happy for two nights considering the price we paid, but a few improvements could take this place fr - Great value for money- the apartment is a good size and has a fully equipped kitchen and balcony. The AC worked well and there were fly screens on most of the doors too. Maria and her family were very friendly and we enjoyed the stay. There were a few things that were broken: tv remote (so we couldn’t get the tv off the Home Screen) and the coffee machine. The apartment was missing some basics (eg no body wash/shower soap and no oil in the kitchen) so we had to go out and buy them. The bathroom drains also had a very bad smell and we had to keep the door closed.
