• Paivi (8/5): - The location is great and easy to get to with a car which is not always the case in Gjirokaster. The hosts are sweet and helpful. The room was clean and the beds good. Our first proper breakfast in Albania. Compared to other places where we stayed it was a bit pricier. The room was a bit dark and cold, even mid-May.

Petit + pour la place de parking !! 🥰 Pas de volet dans la chambre, une nuit très courte Un lit très très dur, à même le sol serait la même. Une salle de bain hors de la chambre, donc sortir dans le froid pour aller au toilette ou se doucher. Sans compter un petit déjeuner très très léger .

• Christopher (10/5): - The family is lovely, and so is the quiet location. It's only a short walk to the bazaar and castle so it's convenient. The guest house has a pleasant garden courtyard and the breakfast is very good. I will come back again whenever I stay overnight in Gjirokaster, which is an extraordinary town. I highly recommend this guest house!! Nothing.

• Alessandra (8/5): - Das Haus liegt etwa auf der gleichen Höhe wie der Bazar, wodurch man sehr einfach hinlaufen kann, um durch Gjirokaster zu schlendern. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und bemüht, wobei die Kommunikation etwas schwierig war, da wir nicht dieselbe Sprache sprachen und es auch mit Übersetzer nicht geklappt hat. Das Zimmer war super eingerichtet und vom Balkon aus hat mein eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Der Anfahrtsweg ist äusserts anspruchsvoll: enge, steile, holprige Gassen und Google Maps findet den richtigen Weg nicht. Wir wurden zuerst in die Fussgängerzone geführt und mussten dann eigenständig den Weg auf der Karte suchen, wobei nicht garantiert ist, dass wenn auf der Karte eine Strasse eingezeichnet ist, da auch wirklich noch eine vorhanden ist. Wir hatten einen Hyundai i20 und kamen manchmal fast nicht durch. Für grosse Autos nicht machbar.

• Thomas (5/5): Ordentliches Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, aber... - Lage nah am Zentrum. Kostenlosen öffentlichen Parkplatz vom Personal gefunden. Günstige Unterkunft. (Ziemlich uninteressanter Basar nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Genau wie die öde Burg völlig überbewertet.) Schwierige Kommunikation. Reagiert nicht auf Emails. Anfänglich niemand zum Empfang da. Nicht das Zimmer bekommen, das ich reserviert hatte, sondern viel kleiner. Bad gar nicht schön und muffig. Im Innern des ganzen Hauses ist es dunkel und es riecht nicht gut. Frühstück ohne Heißgetränk in einem sehr kalten, unbeheiztem Raum. Angesichts des günstigen Preises aber tolerabel. Sehr steile Straßen zur Unterkunft, selbst für mich erfahrenen Fahrer anspruchsvoll.

Das Frühstück war sehr schlicht, es gab keinen Kaffee oder Tee, keine Butter, keine Marmelade, kein Obst. Das Zimmer war recht dunkel, klamm/feucht und kalt.

• Pia (10/5): Sehr zu empfehlen - Super Lage, hatten sogar einen für die dortigen Verhältnisse einen guten geräumigen Parkplatz. Bei der Ankunft begleitete uns der Host bis zum Auto und lotste uns hoch. Alle Straßen in der Altstadt in Gjirokaster sind ziemlich schmal, würde aber jederzeit wieder in diesem Stadtteil buchen. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, konnten kaum Englisch bis auf den Jungen, allerdings haben wir uns trotzdem gut verständigen können. Frühstück war gut (Omelett, Gurke, Tomate, Käse, Brot und Feigenmarmelade, sowie hausgemachte Teigbällchen) Es können jederzeit Getränke erworben werden. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber, vor kurzem renoviert. Es gab im Zimmer Kühlschrank und Klimaanlage. Bad war außerhalb des Zimmers gegenüber, war aber unser privates.

La tranquillité sereine de l'hôte n'avait d'égal que sa gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse est servi avec beaucoup de sérieux et il ne faut pas hésiter de demander un thé ou café pour l'accompagner, ce n'est pas automatique. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la salle de bain privative, la propreté. J'y retournerais sans hésiter. Une légère fuite des toilettes, vraiment mineure et la porte de la chambre qui ne fermait uniquement à clé.

Bus Station de berg af plm 30 minuten naar nieuwe stad. Geen horren voor de ramen. Muggenparadijs en als de ramen open stonden de kat op bezoek. Bedden kraken. Uitzicht op tuin? No way. Verrijdbare airco, weinig vermogen. Steile klim naar guesthouse. Let op bij bus station terminali , daar staan snorders die je niet verder brengen dan begin vd bazaar. Kamer rook beetje muf en vochtig. Tip voor kasteel: ga heel vroeg want anders sta je lang in de rij voor toegang. Etnografische Museum dichtbij en interessant.
• Jonas (9/5): Cutest guest house in the cutest city! - A lovely, welcoming family and the cutest atmosphere. The ceiling in the room was stunning too. The breakfast was good and served personally by a lovely older gentleman. Highly recommend! Getting to the location was slightly difficult and the parking lot wasn't an exception to this, but this isn't necessarily due to the guest house but the streets in the city itself are very narrow and caused us some stress. Again, this would have been the case anywhere in this city.

La salle de bain en dehors de la chambre non précisée dans l'annonce, en plus elle ne sentait pas bon. Il n'y avait pas de ventilation ni de fenêtre. Quand ils ont voulu nous changer de chambre le lendemain, la chambre proposée possédait 2 lits simples que l'on devait rapprocher et elle ne sentait pas bon. Du bruit pour notre 2ème nuit :-(

• Emily (9/5): - Lovely little family run guesthouse run by a sweet older couple. The room was a bit dark but that meant it kept cool. The room was very clean and I got an excellent breakfast every morning in the gorgeous garden. Once youre at the hotel the location is great - there's a shortcut that means its only a few minutes from the heart of the old town but exceptionally quiet and peaceful. The bathroom is an older style without a curtain or screen so the bathroom does get fully wet. Finding the hotel is a nightmare - taxis wouldn't take me because Google kept taking them down streets that were too narrow for cars, and the road up is so steep. Something to be aware of if you’re driving or have tons of luggage.

Μας βοήθησε με τις προτάσεις του να περάσουμε όμορφα στο Πανέμορφο Αργυρόκαστρο! Μοιράστηκε μαζί μαζί αρκετές ιστορίες από το Αργυρόκαστρο. Όσο αναφορά για το δωμάτιο που νοικιασαμε ήταν πεντακάθαρο, όλο ξύλινο και όλα φτιαγμένα στο χέρι από τον Κύριο Genci ειδικά το ταβάνι ήταν ένα έργο τέχνης! Σας ευχαριστουμε κύριε Genci!Σας συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα το MiziriGuestHouse! Δεν υπήρχε κάτι που να μην μας άρεσε!

• Gina (10/5): - Nice family guest house with lovely hosts. Good value, nice breakfast included, air conditioning worked great. A very big room for 3 people, the biggest we've experienced so far after visiting Bosnia, Montenegro and other parts of Albania. Good location near old bazaar, ethnography museum, Skander House and the mosque museum. A bit difficult to find but the grandson came back with us to our car and showed the way. Can't really complain after everyone was so kind.

• Natálie (8/5): - Všechno bylo v pořádku, dostali jsme jiný pokoj, ale nevadilo nám to. Byli jsme jen na jednu noc. Výhled krásný a od centra asi 5 minut chůze. Chutná snídaně. Cesta na ubytování, bylo to extrémně do kopce. Na druhý den jsme zjistili, že se to dá objet lepší trasou. Ale navigace vedla jinak. V ubytování bylo vše v pořádku.

The room had a beautiful ceiling made by the owner. It’s all wood in the room. Breakfast is served in the garden. The owners are a very friendly couple.

• James (8/5): - It is a lovely guest house in the traditional style architecture. The family who run it were all extremely welcoming and friendly. It is well situated for the sights of Gjirokaster, and walking distance to the centre where all the restaurants are. And given how popular this town is becoming with tourists, it was extremely reasonably priced. Especially as it also included breakfast! Be aware that the bathroom while private may not be ensuite. And my room did not have air conditioning - but did have a fan. However, given how extraordinarily well priced my stay was, I don't view this as a problem - it's more of an FYI.

• John (10/5): Lovely stay in nice house, well located - Excellent large Albanian breakfast of cucumber, tomato, feta, omelette, doughy thing with fig jam and orange juice in the garden. Good location by the Ethnographic Museum and Skenduli house; just five minutes walk down the hill is the main part of the old town. Lovely, friendly hosts with whom we had a cup of tea despite none of us speaking the others' language.
• Klara (10/5): - The couple hosting were lovely! The rooms were beautiful and the view from the terrase was amazing. They served a delicious home-made breakfast. I highly recommend staying here!
