Very attentive host, Camilla, who sent me all the directions and details upfront. Great accesses with codes that doesn’t require you to wait for someone to let you in. Clean, nice and very close to subway accommodation. I liked a lot that this place was away from city crowd but still very close considering proximity of the public transport. Bus station literally next to the neighbour house, 5 mins away from subway. I have not found anything I didn’t like, really.

Ho apprezzato in particolare la sostanza del servizio: tutto essenziale, ben organizzato e pensato per rendere il soggiorno comodo . Un altro grande punto di forza è la silenziosità: nonostante la posizione in città, l’ambiente è risultato tranquillo e rilassante, perfetto per riposare bene dopo una giornata intensa. Consigliato ! Nulla … tutto perfetto in relazione al prezzo !

• vittoria (6/5): MIRELLA: CAMERA BAGNO - Posizione, quartiere, residenza signorile. Camera e bagno come unico ambiente e wc/bidet dislocato e senza lavandino. Non è chiaro se per una scelta estetica o strutturale, in ogni caso abbiamo trovato estremamente scomodo che il lavandino non si trovasse insieme agli altri sanitari, oltre che ad essere molto molto piccolo. Per non parlare del bidet incluso nel water, del quale non c’era alcuna fotografia che lo evidenziasse. Personalmente, da italiana, l’ho trovato inusuale e antigienico. In quanto viaggiatrice, condivo le fotografie della stanza col water che mi auguro possano aiutare qualcun altro a fare valutazioni migliori. Inoltre, mancava il sapone intimo di fianco al water e nonostante io l’abbia fatto presente alla signora delle pulizie la quale mi aveva detto che avrebbe provveduto, non ci è stato comunque dotato. In generale, la stanza non era molto pulita appena arrivati, c’era molta polvere sulle lampade subito dietro la testata del letto e sulla testata di legno stessa, oltre che sui pavimenti. Onestamente, spinti dalle recensioni super positive, non ci abbiamo pensato due volte a prenotare, nonostante il dubbio sulla presenza del bidet e del water i quali non erano presenti nella galleria di foto (avevo anche mandato una richiesta per assicurarmene ma non ho ricevuto risposta). Saremmo stati probabilmente sfortunati ma sicuramente non torneremo nella stessa stanza. La signora Mirella, tra l’altro, non pervenuta.

Il check-in è stato molto flessibile e ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. La struttura è accogliente, pulitissima e arredata in modo originale. Il letto è comodissimo e si dorme davvero benissimo. La posizione è strategica per visitare la città. Grande attenzione ai minimi dettagli: ogni mattina viene fatta la pulizia e lasciano sempre acqua, tisane e caffè, cosa davvero molto apprezzata. Davvero il top del top. Consigliatissimo! Tutto ok

• Claudia (10/5): Perfekt!! - Das Zimmer entsprach genau den Bildern, wir kamen sehr früh an und unser Zimmer stand schon netterweise fertig bereit. Die Unterkunft war herrlich mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, wirklich sehr sauber und durchdacht. Der Hinterhof war prächtig gepflegt und das Haus wirklich toll. Das es an der Hauptstraße lag war kein Problem, die Fenster waren sehr dicht. Die Metro war unweit der Unterkunft und man ist ruck zuck im Zentrum, aber auch fußläufig war z.B. das Colosseum zu erreichen. Camilla war eine perfekte Gastgeberin und stets erreichbar. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, würden das Zimmer jederzeit empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Во-вторых, само жилье - большая просторная квартира с отдельными апартаментами внутри, где у каждого есть спальня + ванная комната. У нас была комната "Камилла", хозяйка сказала, что это ее комната детства) Вообще каждые апартаменты названы в честь члена семьи, это было интересно и мило) Очень чисто, очень уютно, очень симпатично, мы были всего две ночи, и каждый день была хорошая уборка. При заезде Камилла выдала нам карту Рима, отметила достопримечательности, показала маршрут для прогулок и места для питания, а так же подарила сувенир на память. Это было очень приятно) Смело могу рекомендовать это место для проживания в Риме! И с удовольствием остановлюсь еще раз. не было утюга и гладильной доски, но это в принципе не критично. На общее впечатление не повлияло

• IRENE (10/5): Fantastico - La casa è molto vicina alla fermata della metro San Giovanni, raggiungibile rapidamente con la linea A. Inoltre, sempre nelle vicinanze, si trova anche la fermata della metro C, che a breve sarà collegata direttamente al centro storico. La nostra stanza, Mirella, era davvero pulita e accogliente. Siamo rimaste piacevolmente sorprese, poiché le foto pubblicate non rendevano giustizia alla qualità reale dell’ambiente. Il letto era comodo e la biancheria profumata. La stanza era ben insonorizzata, abbiamo dormito benissimo. La zona è tranquilla ma ben servita, perfetta per visitare la città. Negozi, bar e ristoranti sono raggiungibili a piedi, e la posizione è un ottimo punto di partenza per esplorare il centro storico. L’host ci ha accolto con calore e ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. È stata estremamente gentile e disponibile fin dal momento della prenotazione, ci ha persino inviato un video, girato da lei, per aiutarci a orientarci all’interno della metro. Inoltre, ci ha dato consigli utili su cosa visitare ed è stata sempre disponibile per qualsiasi necessità.

There are many restaurants in the area as well as cafés. The building where the room was, was old but very well-preserved and with a beautiful garden inside. The room was very clean and it smelt so nice! It was as shown in the pictures and nicely renovated. The host, Camilla, was a very kind-hearted person and and gave us some basic information. We also got a surprise of a heart-warming card and some sweets for our daughter for Easter in the room. The toilet seat can be fixed but in general the room was in an excellent condition. We were very pleased with everything.

• Edgars (10/5): Lovely and cosy place to stay during your time in Rome! - We enjoyed the place very much. It was a pleasure to meet Camilla and have a chat! We were delighted to hear a beautiful story about the place. This brings a special touch and makes this place special! We liked the room very much (we stayed in room named Camilla)! The bed was comfortable, the pillow also was comfortable and you can feel well rested in the morning. Also, a nice touch is the garden where apartment is located. It is quite and peaceful place. The location of the apartments is perfect! It is walkable to Coliseum and other beautiful places. There are bunch of places near by to get a coffee and buy groceries (mostly small markets as we understood). Metro (closest is San Giovanni) and bus stations (closest is La Spezia/Monza) are very close which is perfect. You can go to main station Termini by using metro line A and/or go to Coliseum (or that direction) using bus line 81/85 (that we used). Camilla gave a good instructions where to go, what to see, where to eat. If you need any help, she will help you out. If you are looking for a great place to stay, choose La Casa delle Tartarughe! If we ever got to Roma in some time from now on, we will definitely consider staying at Camila's place! Thank You, Camilla, for making our stay at Your family's place wonderful and memorable one for us! I can't say that there was something that we didn't like as all was very good! If something needs to be mentioned, then only(!) there are some our personal preferences that it takes a bit time in the shower before the how water comes and it would be nice to have an iron available in the room(or a shared one). But both these points are very personal and are not really applicable to everyone.

About 10 min from Termini station. Nice neighborhood with restaurants and bars. The property is located in a historic building, and the owner is really nice and friendly.

• Travis (4/5): Terrible Sleep - Nice-sized room with a nice, big bathroom that includes a large shower and tub. It was close to the Metro station. Impossible to sleep with the AC running, but the room was very hot otherwise, so you had to run the AC. The unit doesn't drain the water directly outside like other places; this one drains into a small tank, and then every 17 minutes, a loud water pump kicks in to pump the water outside. You literally get woken up every 17 minutes by the sound of a coffee grinder. We stayed for two nights and had terrible sleep both nights.

(Nothing the owner can do) The sink taps in the bathroom look a great idea but get in the way when trying to wash so not practical. Possible some extra milk for tea etc but you can obviously bring extra yourself. The above is only my opinion and would stay again.

• Praveen (10/5): Hard to find such chic and luxurious accommodation at these prices - Boy O Boy, What a room. Large spacious, neat, high ceilings and very chic with state of the art facilities. The bathroom of our hotel room is as big as our bedroom. I have seldom seen such lavish and modern bathrooms in hotels. I did take some pictures for one of our close friend, who is an interior decorator. The standalone white tub was fitted with Jacuzzi, and the shower area had therapeutic stones set in the floor. Every thing was perfect.

It is very close to the city centre both on foot (20 minutes from Colosseo) or by public transport. The area is safe and organised, close to shops and fast food restaurants and a nice park to enjoy nature. The place itself is nicely decorated in a very unique and fine taste just like in a boutique hotel. We especially fancied the wallpaper and the built-in shower. The bed and the cushions were surprisingly comfortable. Last, but not least, the host, Camilla is extremely hospitable, friendly, helpful and we even got a small gift to remind us of our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice spot to stay while enjoying the bustling city of Rome. We could have made use of some bigger glasses (to drink from) and possibly a knife and some plates while having a sandwich or a quick snack.

• Una (8/5): Spacious room in a nice building - The room is spacious and the bathroom is big enough. The place is close to the metro station, a supermarket and a little mall. The bed was comfy and it was clean. There is an nespresso machine and complimentary pods and kettle. The shower was great and water pressure excellent. There is a little fridge as well. The bathroom tiles could do with a little touch up and there was abslt no cosmetics provided. The staff was nowhere to be seen if you needed anything. Despite a do not disturb sign, the maids were in the room although we were leaving the next morning and there was no need to clean since we were in the room only to sleep.
