• Igor (9/5): В общем, квартира понравилась. - Хорошая квартира в тихом районе, рядом с гипермаркетом и трамвайной остановкой. Очень чисто и уютно. Доброжелательный хозяин квартиры, который всегда на связи. В квартире 3 комнаты (одна закрыта на ключ), санузел с ванной, кухня, коридор-прихожая. Отсутствовала кофемашина, хотя было написана, что она есть в квартире. Увидел и убил одного таракана, что было удивительно для такой чистой и уютной квартиры. Плохая звукоизоляция и буйные соседи сверху, которые каждый вечер до 23-30 чем то гремели на кухне.

• Adrian (10/5): O cazare minunată pentru un City Brake, in Florența - O locație minunată pentru a petrece câteva zile in, poate, cel mai frumos oraș din Italia. Totul a fost minunat. Gazda este o persoana foarte amabilă si te ajută întotdeauna cu ce ai nevoie. La câteva minute de mers pe jos, este o stație tramvai, luați linia T1, si va duce la gara, sau in centru. Totul a fost minunat. Apropo, apartamentul este dotat cu tot ce ai nevoie. Voi lua in considerare, de fiecare dată aceast locatie, când voi reveni in Florența. Aici chiar nu am nimic de adăugat.

Highly recommend - Paolo was a very friendly and great host - gave clear information on how to get to the apartment/around, solid food recommendations, and was easily reachable by text whenever needed Apartment was cozy and spotless - possibly the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. Looked exactly like the pictures and had lots of space to relax/have a meal. Short tram ride out of the city centre but surroundings are quiet and safe. -

• Jack (10/5): Exceptional stay in Florence! - Paolo is a very kind and welcoming host, and is always quick to respond to messages if anything comes up. The apartment is very clean, has a comfy bed and has all of the facilities you might need for a stay in Florence. It is also easy to get into the centre of Florence, with a tram stop about a 5 minute walk away.
• Adele (10/5): Exceptional - Paolo was an incredibly kind host. The facilities made our stay comfortable and a truly home-from-home experience. The tram stop nearby was really convenient with trams into the centre every few minutes. There is a Co- op supermarket nearby which is cheap and has everything you need and more. We shopped there daily because we had a fully equipped kitchen at the accommodation. Thank you once again, Paolo!
• Matt (9/5): Cozy flat just outside of but well-connected to Firenze, ideal for couples - My partner and I truly enjoyed this place for its cozyness and vibe. It is ideal for a couple (or a small party if you manage to book both rooms). Our bedroom was large, with comfy bed ; the flat is great, clean and tidy, with all you need for your stay, minutes walk from a mall if you prefer cooking your meal. Whilst the owner Paolo welcomed us with a smile in what used to be his main house, he gave us full privacy and is not present when guests are around (although he is available if needs arise). A true communicative gent, Paolo waited for us for check-in in spite of our delayed arrival owing to a highway trafic accident near Firenze. The accommodation has parking spaces nearby if you are by car, but is also 5min walk to a tramway stop taking you to main train station/city centre under 30min, with a ride every 5 to 10min. This option may thus not appeal to those willing to stay in city centre for late night activities, but its well compensated by the price, comfort, privacy and quieter aspect. On our next trip to Firenze, I would definitely look at Casa del Cuoco as a first option. Thanks a lot Paolo, from beginning to end, for your welcome, kindness and patience. the only thing perhaps missing (unless we just did not spot it) was a kettle.
• Quinn (10/5): Best accomodation in Florence! - Paolo was an amazing host! He helped us with our bags up the stairs (apartment is on the 3rd floor) and showed us around the apartment. It is his house but he does not stay when guests are there. We had our own bedroom and bathroom and access to the kitchen, washing machine and washing line. Paolo even provided breakfast foods for us (coffee, milk, bread, jam etc) and there is a large supermarket 5 min walk away and tram stop is 10 min. Paolo was very communicative via WhatsApp for any queries we had. The hospitality we received was amazing. 100% recommend staying at A casa del cuoco.
• Simona (9/5): Lovely apartment all to ourselves with great amenities. Paolo was an exceptional host who was always at our disposal. Lo - Paolo was an incredibly kind man who ensured we had no issues during our stay. He immediately responded to any messages and went out of his way for us. We had the whole apartment to ourselves with a washing machine, coffee pot and balcony to enjoy the evening fresh air. The location is about a 30 minutes out of Florence city by tram.
• Maxi (10/5): Exceptional - The property was very clean. We had a big room and lots of space for our belongings. The kitchen was good equipped. With the tram it only took a couple minutes to get in the centre. Paolo was such a nice host, he answered quickly and even provided water, toast and jam. We would come back :)

• Binnur (9/5): Superb - It was very clean and we have all house by ourself, it is only five min walks to the metro station and then ten minutes from city centre
• Robert (10/5): All questions were answered for us, which made the stay very easy and comfortable. - Paolo met us at the door, after we rang the buzzer. We could use the kitchen and clothes washing machine which were nicely explained to us. The tram was a short walk to go into town, AND the supermarket for food and shopping was also close. All went fine.

No lighting on 3 flights of stairs up to apartment, no air cond, one fan wasnt sufficient, no hair blow dryer. 5 km from centre, only one cafe nearby. Many mosquitoes 🦟, we got tons of bites, don't open the window at all.

• Richard (10/5): beautiful apartment with extremely considerate host! - Paolo is the most thoughtful and considerate host I’ve ever met through booking.com. He prepared us breakfast, a beautifully stocked fridge, coffee… everything you could need. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood. There is a Coop supermarket a few minute’s walk away which has a lovely cafe to get your coffee in the morning or aperativo in the evening before heading into the city. Although it’s not in the center of the city, the tram is a 5 minute walk from the apartment and then only 15 mins (and 1.5 euros) to get to the main tourist area. I would highly recommend booking a beautiful, clean, spacious and well-connected apartment slightly away from the center like this than paying triple or quadruple the price for somewhere nowhere near as nice in the center. Grazie Paolo! The apartment doesn’t have air conditioning which may seem like a big problem in July but we learned if you open the window of the bedroom and place the fan at the window and facing towards you it actually makes the room cooler than air conditioning does!

• Sophia (10/5): Lovely little flat just on the outskirts of Florence, perfect for couples! - Lovely clean home, the host Paolo (who also lives there) was so kind and gave us lots of recommendations despite not knowing much English. we had our own bathroom and he gave us full access to his kitchen. Just a 5 mins walk to a big supermarket & the tram station which will take about 25 mins to get into centre. Highly recommended! We were fine with it, but just know that this flat is on the 3rd floor (stairs only) so might not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

• Lara (9/5): Nice memory - Host Paulo is very attentive and hospitable. Nice, clean, cozy and quiet place with a common kitchen where you can cook and dine. There is a supermarket and tram stop nearby. For us was a good location, but was a little bit far away from city center.

Despite that it was hard to communicate fully verbally in English, the communication still went smooth by using a translation app. The location is very close to a big supermarket and the tram station. Since the laundry facilities i.e. the laundry machine and the balcony for hanging the clothes are shared with the host, it might not always be available when you need it. Luckily there's a laundromat close to the apartment as well which can be found by searching for "laundromat" on Google Maps.

• Elsa (10/5): We stayed here for 4 nights while in Florence. The tramway was really easy to take into the city centre and Paolo always - Paolo was really nice and caring, the apartment was perfect

It is a very safe neighborhood, quiet and peaceful. There’s nothing I’d change. It is not located in the city center, but the tram takes you there in 15 minutes for €1.50
