Guest Reviews
- Claudia (10/5): Alice è molto accogliente e disponibile con i suoi ospiti, saprà mettervi a vostro agio come a casa. - Ottima posizione, vicino alla metro e alla fermata dell'autobus. Mini market e bar vicinissimi a piedi.
La notte si dorme bene, il quartiere è tranquillo.

- ENNAKR (6/5): - the woman working there was really kind.
you have your own room. the sink is blocked. the room was very religious; there were many stickers on the wall related to religion.

- Koki (10/5): Alice, our host, was very nice! She gave us recommendations for restaurants in the neighborhood and made our evening mem - The rooms were clean, neat and organized.
The host's description of the room was very thorough. It is somewhat far from the center of Rome, but the cost is reasonable.
- Metin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hong (9/5): Superb - Our host Alice was very helpful and ready to answer our questions about moving around in Rome. The apartment was clean. The stay was pleasant.
- Tohill (10/5): Exceptional - The host was lovely and we communicated with my broken Italian and google translate. She was able to offer advice on where to eat and how to get around the city.
- Fuad (9/5): Superb -
- Shona (4/5): Generally don’t recommend - Close to metro. Host makes a great coffee. Host was annoyed with us about our check in time even though I had messaged her a couple of times about arriving a bit later. It made our arrival uncomfortable.
Host also sleeps (and spends the day) on a couch in the kitchen area. The kitchen is small so it was uncomfortable to do anything in the kitchen and/or sit at the table to eat. There are strict rules about short showers once per day and you generally feel monitored for most movements in the apartment. We pretty much stayed in our room which is a shame. Host also did not let us know that she would come in and clean our room on a daily basis.
- Helen (6/5): Okay place to stay for the night! Not very comfy beds. Owner doesn't speak English. - The owner of the apartment was very friendly, but it was hard to communicate because she couldn't speak English, but still we managed somehow. The apartment is very high up and there's no elevator, so that was very exhausting :D We were hoping to get a room with a balcony view but didn't get it. It was a bit weird for us that eventhough it was a home accommodation, then the owner of the apartment was sleeping on the sofa in the kitchen next to the front door. Also on our Booking reservation, there was written that our tourist tax is 14€, but the owner asked for 21€. Confused by that.
- Taeho (8/5): Authentic nonna experience. - Beds are okay. The owner does not speak English but makes you coffee in the morning, you can cook your own stuff using her kitchenware as well. She insists on doing the dishes herself and tries to be helpful. It's an authentic Italian nonna experience. One of our travel mates had a bit of a clash with the owner, but it was resolved after thorough communication with an Italian friend working as a translator/intermediary. There's supposedly a fine print about the owner staying in the kitchen all the time (including during the night), but this detail is not shown in the English version of Booking, only the Italian one. We've only realized this was the case after checking in. While I did not mind this much, because my travel companions were expecting a more private setup as introverts, they felt rather uncomfortable with this arrangement (particularly when we were trying to have a meal). Moreover in the listing it is written that a washing machine is available, but upon asking to use it I was told the machine was broken. I hand-washed my laundry instead, but at some point during the owner suddenly suggested she could let me use another washing machine if I pay her 5 euros. The authentic nonna experience is also a double sided coin: while she tries to be helpful, she sometimes is very strongly opinionated on the specifics of using the facility (such as being told to save the water I used to wash fruits and then water the plants in the balcony with them) as if we were staying at her place for free.
- Elizaveta (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect, Alice is very welcoming, the room is very clean and cozy and the apartment is clean!
- Alejandro (3/5): Poor -
- Bezawit (5/5): Passable -
