I know it was to come with some penalties, but I was told that Booking.com is the one which should refund me, as I booked through them, so I got nothing at all, that treatment did not sit well with me at all

Paula (5/5): I feel like because of the money that we paid it was OK, but I feel like the cleanest of the place has to be overlooked - I liked that it was in a hidden location, not noisy and also checking in was easy. I like that we had an AC. It was a really good addition seeing that during the night we would get really hot I didn’t like the fact that the curtain had a stain, but we were told that apparently if a stain is found then we would have to pay a fine or R500 but the place was not clean. The floors were dirty. We had to ask for a broom to sweep the place ourselves and also we took a shower but were unable to mop the bathroom because there was no mop in sight and another problem is the fact that blankets are kept outside the room so for instance, if we had come a bit later, what if people had taken blankets selfishly and we didn’t have a blanket

hlongwane (8/5): The place is nearer to the School and the Eastgate mall and limited parking - It's location The window of the room doesn't open and the cleaning of the room not do e daily. For the room to be cleaned it was done on request not daily and there was no rubbish bean in the room.. There was no electricity for 2 days and the manager did not bother to update us until we we called her that we can't continue bathing with cold water, and wa demanded refund if she doesn't come up with a plan of so that we at least get hot water and basins for bathing.

It's not their fault but I couldn't work. They got a power generator in the second night but it's not enough to cover all rooms.

Also, the situation of the lodge was close to where I needed to be to attend my event. There was nothing not to like beside the four seasons in one day but that is Johannesburg.

Judy (1/5): Ten day stay turned into five days - The property was near the school I was assigned to. That plans changed (out of my control), and I had to check out 5 days earlier. The manager refused to refund me even a portion of the money of the days I wasn't in the room. I understand that checking out before the actual agreed upon checkout date was an inconvenience. But for those days I wasn't there, I wasn't using their facilities. I did not expect her to charge me the full amount as someone who was actually in the room and using the facilities. R550 x 5 days was just a lot of money for a facility I wasn't using. This whole dilemma gave me an overall bad experience. I ended up not enjoying anything about my stay at Erima, even started noticing the small things I didn't like - like inconsistencies in her stories- that I would have normally just disregarded or turned a blind eye to.

Sem flexibilidade no check-out. Perguntei sobre a possibilidade de sair às 11h30, mas a resposta foi de que uma taxa seria cobrada. Estou acostumado a me hospedar em lugares que tem flexibilidade no horário de check-in e check-out, não é o caso desta propriedade. Uma pena.

Zama (10/5): We would definitely visit again. - We absolutely loved our stay at Erima. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had to share the aircon remote with other guests. The bathroom light was not working.
Ntsako (10/5): I highly recommend the place as I will be going back again. - The place was clean and comfortable.The environment was also quiet which made everything peaceful.The staff was also welcoming. The tv would switch off at 10pm but I coped without it

Nonyamezelo (8/5): Very pleasant stay and I will stay there again when in Joburg - I really like the location as it is central to everything. The room was very spacious and clean. My suggestion is that they get a tumble dryer so you can dry your clothes on a rainy day
