• Louise (9/5): One of the best hostel - Very clean, beds are so comfy and made everyday ! Breakfast is the best I have had in a hostel Kitchen is super clean Good location (10 min walk to center), next to a market (not always full but can help) The whole place is very cute and you want to stay and chill Don’t give them your laundry if you only have 2 days. I was told my laundry will be ready the next afternoon (more than 24h later) and I was given not humid but WET clothes (they air dry so in the winter it’s clearly not gonna dry in one day..). Mind you it was all my warm clothes for Uyuni the next day.. also was given a wrong price but they had the decency not to ask for more. In the morning you can’t use the kitchen so if you need to prepare something for your picnic your can’t

• Isabelle (10/5): The perfect hotel for your trip in the desert!! - The hotel was very clean and quiet at night. There’s a lovely little area outside to sit in the Sun and when you’re eating breakfast. The breakfast was also amazing eggs, cheese pancakes. Also, the staff were extremely friendly and very good at speaking English. N/A

• rozenn (9/5): Une oasis dans le désert - L’hostel est vraiment très agréable, au calme, à 15mn à pied de la rue Caracoles. Marcella et Francesca sont absolument adorables et très accueillantes. J’ai vraiment apprécié les petits déjeuners de Marcella sur la terrasse ombragée. Nous avons le droit à un petit en-cas à emporter pour les départs matinaux. Marcella assure un ménage quotidien impeccable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et les lits confortables. La douche est chaude! Avec toutes les excursions extraordinaires mais plutôt fatigantes dans la région et jusqu’à Uyuni, l’Hostal Belen est vraiment une oasis dans le désert !
• Valeria (10/5): - Unser Zimmer war sauber und wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Zum Frühstück gibt es viel Verschiedenes. Man bekommt auch frische Pancakes und Rührei. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hostel liegt am Ortsrand. Ein Supermarkt ist nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Zum Stadtzentrum sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß.

They will help you ensure tours and also let you leave your baggage before check in / after check out and use the bathroom. Room was spcaious and clean. Hairdryer was also available. Missing some rack to dry towels, swimsuit and clothes when sweated. Also if they would have some drinkable water available (even for some price).

• O. (5/5): - Легко припарковаться возле хостела. - Самый скудный за все мои поездки завтрак - только яичница и пара видов сыра. Все остальное надо покупать самим и готовить на небольшой общей кухне. Купленные продукты подписываешь и оставляешь в кухне. В магазинчиках очень скудный выбор продуктов, так что сложно что-то раздобыть для готовки (да и некогда, когда обширная программа экскурсий). Хорошо было бы, чтобы хостел лучше взял на себя вопрос завтраков на месте. Кстати, тем, кто уезжает рано, оставляют снэкинг пакет (и спасибо за заботу!), но там только сладкие вещи, а мы не едим сахар. - Дополнительный налог 19% при оплате картой. Пришлось идти искать наличные. - номера выходят в небольшой общий дворик с кухней и столиками, в итоге очень сильно слышно разговоры постояльцев и персонала.

• Joanne (9/5): A lovely comfortable stay with the most welcoming hosts - A very inviting and comfortable stay. We arrived very late and were welcomed despite reception being closed. Staff were amazingly helpful, assisting with booking tours, hire cars etc The room was spacious, plenty of storage, hot shower, clean, fan for the hot desert nights. Breakfast was great - fresh pancakes, eggs, cereals, fruit etc Location a short walk to 'town' and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet.

• Patricia (9/5): Oasis de frescor - Ubicado en el norte de San Pedro, el hostal es un oasis de frescor dentro del calor de Atacama. Sus trabajadoras son atentas y los desayunos con pancakes, riquísimos. Nuestra experiencia fue excelente, pasamos allí 4 noches. Durante el primer día encontramos un problema con el agua caliente y enseguida lo solucionaron. En definitiva, muy recomendable. Marcela, Franchesca y Belén unos amores (gracias por el detalle Belén! ). Por cierto las fotos coinciden 100% con el alojamiento. Lo único a mejorar, por poner un pero, es la ducha con cortina, con la que uno puede armar un desastre si se sale el agua.

• Rosa (10/5): My happy place in San Pedro - This hostel is amazing! The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The hostel has a nice kitchen and a very large patio with hammocks and seating areas. Moreover, the breakfast (included in the price) is the best. With fresh pancakes, bread, scrambled egg, and so much more, you'll start your day very happy and full :) And if you leave early, a nice snack is prepared for you. It's located a few minutes away from the central plaza, close enough to walk everywhere, but far enough from the loud music downtown at night. It is a cozy, clean, and quiet hostel. And the staff is very friendly and fun! Highly recommend.

English Visiting Atacama was a surprising experience for me, and choosing Hostel Belén contributed greatly to that. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are cleaned daily, and the breakfast is complete and delicious. I would also like to give special praise to Marcela, a dreamy and very friendly young woman who prepares wonderful coffee. Español Visitar Atacama fue una experiencia sorprendente para mí, y elegir el Hostel Belén contribuyó mucho a ello. Location was good for us as only about 10 minute walk into town. Nice quiet hostel No. Very happy with stay
• YUJI (10/5): Friendly staff and beautiful facilities - They were very accommodating to me, even though I don't speak English or Spanish. They helped me out by arranging transportation, booking tours, and everything else, which was very helpful. They are reliable staff. The rooms were clean, and the showers were nice and warm. I was happy that each room had its own shower toilet. When I returned to the hostel late at night, I realized I had lost my key, but even though it was late at night, I contacted them and they gave me a new key without any hesitation, so I am very grateful for their excellent service. Nothing in particular If I had to say, it's a little far from the city.
• Alessandra (9/5): Stupendo! - Tutto: posizione centrale, comodità di stanza, bagno e cortile arredato, pulizia della struttura, personale gentilissimo, colazione ottima, abbondante e varia, servizio di lavanderia. Forse un po' umido all'interno ma col ventilatore si stava bene. Non c'è molta privacy perché le finestre delle stanze danno sul cortile dove ci sono divani e tavoli della colazione ma è comunque molto silenzioso.

• dagmara (7/5): - Room was big & comfortable. It’s very clean & everything is looked after. Breakfast was freshly cooked by a very nice lady. It’s a bit further from the main street which I knew about but didn’t expect it being more residential area. I was wondering how to score the stay as I am more disappointed about service provided… after booking I received a message that hostal assists in organising tours so I thought since we are staying there ‘I let them earn’ rather than booking in town. And since I work in travel industry I know how things work & I feel that if you offer a service you should be a part of it through out & not just when selling. So some of our tours were cancelled due to weather which is noones fault. However on the first day the guy warned me it could be a case & if I want to postpone to the next day which was ok. On the second day, there was a lady that said nothing & when it was closer to departure I had to ask myself if it’s happening as I heard from others it’s was cancelled. Then when it came to returning money… the lady said the boss left me the money so she wasn’t sure… in a way not a big deal but on the other hand it feels funny as it was 5 usd less then I paid (based on exchange rate I paid) & I got 20 bill note with marks that we know that can’t be used here but lady said it’s what the boss left (I can deal with it but it shouldn’t have happened). Anyway was tired & we were to leave to Bolivia in the morning which soon after I got a text from organiser that is also cancelled. I tried to get any info or tips from the lady about our options but she washed her hands. Not blaming anyone for cancelling but I guess if you want to sell a service you need to be able to assist and not just take money when all is ok & when there are complications wash your hands as all I needed was some advice or rebooking.

No antes, durante e depois se mostraram sempre muito atenciosos, ajudando a buscar soluções para nossas necessidades. Estávamos em quatro pessoas e ao longo do período de hospedagem (10 dias), em função de nossos passeios (incluindo Bolívia), alternamos os quartos. Algo bastante tranquilo de ajeitar, inclusive deixamos parte de nossas bagagens durante a ida ao Uyuni! O fato do hostel se localizar um pouco afastado do centro não foi nenhum problema, pois bastava uma breve caminhada (~10 minutos). Enfim, recomendamos bastante o local! Nenhuma reclamação!
• Letícia (7/5): confortável - ótimos atendentes, sempre solícitos e dispostos a ajudar, fui muito bem acolhida! wifi ruim e não funciona nos quartos, quarto sem tomada próximo e pelo hostel também não haviam tomadas, apenas na cozinha 2. para o café da manhã poderiam adicionar frutas.

• Burdett (10/5): We had a nice day but be prepared for the very intense sun if you go in the Chilean summer. - An excellent breakfast was provided. Bright kitchen with good cooking facilities. Nice central courtyard with chairs, tables, hammocks and good shade. Quiet location about 15 minute walk from the center of town.

• Sergio Roberto (8/5): Bom e suficiente para dormir. - Da limpeza e do atendimento de cozinha e limpeza. Quarto com quatro camas, mas separadas em dois ambientes (e não beliche). Pouco espaço externo de convivência não exposto ao sol.
• Victoria (10/5): - Tout ! Le dortoir était incroyablement confortable et le petit-déjeuner excellent. Les espaces communs sont super cosy. Le personnel est tellement gentil.
• Mimibns (10/5): Parfait!! - Très bien situé, le personnel super arrangeant et très gentil, les chambres confortables, le petit dej incroyable (et le snack si jamais on part tôt en excursion)
• Naomi (10/5): - Francisca and Mariana were both so lovely and helpful - with booking tours, advise about the area, cooking up a delicious breakfast- they did the best job! The room was spacious and cleaned every day to a high standard. The hammocks under the shade provided a chill place to relax during the day.
