Guest Reviews
- eddy (8/5): - Bonjour
- Christine (9/5): Impeccable -
- Bob (9/5): A combination of Action, Discoveries and Enjoying Life - New facility with spacious, bright windows; everything here is focused on b&b. Parking in front of the door. XL room and ditto bathroom. Green, relaxing environment (terrace furniture at your disposal). Updated, extensive information bundle.
We enjoyed the wide selection of breakfast choices together with the owners and the other guests - the moment for information exchange. The spotless Frasnes-les-buissenal is not only a well-signposted walking and cycling area. The range of ‘star’ gastronomy and creative (regional) ‘cuisine’ is extensive and delicious. Tournai, known for its impressive 12th century cathedral, is only 15 minutes away. Since the Romans, this city has been at the crossroads of the western european trade routes. There is a lot to discover about this in the area. The stairs to the rooms are quite narrow and steep. The golden retriever is sóóóó
cute and friends with everyone, but if you have an allergy to dogs......
- Simon (10/5): One of the best places we've used at. - Clean modern very kind hosts! No complaints.
- Ruixiang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabriela (9/5): Superb - The couple who are renting this very cute little hotel are so sweet and welcoming. The room was spacious, modern and clean, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of different options and homemade jam. All in all a perfect place to stay.
- Philippe (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (9/5): Superb -
- Emmanuel (9/5): Very enjoyable and confortable - The staff was very nice and helpfull. The breakfast very good, and the room was really nice and confortable maybe a bit expensive considering the location
- Marie (10/5): Amazing & Lovely Property - Amazing property with amazing hosts Patrick, Valerie & Annie. Not forgetting their gorgeous dog Zeus.
The annex with two lovely big en suite rooms was very modern with a massive garden & big garage to securely store our motorbike. A communal kitchen with a fridge stocked with complimentary beer, spirits, milk & cold water & a Nespresso machine. Great breakfast with (among other things) fresh sliced bread, omelette, homemade preserves with the fruits grown in their garden & local honey & homemade cake. What more can you ask for? We would without a doubt stay again & recommend it to all of our friends.
Only a 15 min walk from the village centre with a lovely restaurant serving the best pizza we've ever had!
It was a stop over for us, but it is apparently a great base for cyclists and hikers.
- Gwenlyn (10/5): perfect - very good breakfast
- Martinschott (10/5): Excellent, better and nicer than I thought, highly recommended. - A new looking and extremely clean room, good size. A very friendly host. Breakfast buffet with a good choice, many things from the region. The freshly prepared omelette was a bonus I enjoyed. A bit outside, not too many thing sin walking distance, but therefore a very quiet and relaxed place. I can only recommend staying there for a good rest and sleep. My rath erlate arrival was no problem. There was nothing I ddn't like!
- Inger (10/5): Exceptional - A really nice place to stay. Would recommend! It’s run by very good people. We felt very welcome.
- Marian (10/5): terrific !!!! - it’s nearly brand new and everything was wonderful; the room, the huge shower, the bed, the towels and the lovely kitchen downstairs. we also had a very nice breakfast. the area is great to explore, beautiful countryside.
