• Guest (10/5): Ein Gästezimmer in einem ruhigen Balkan-Dorf - Das Gästehaus ist ein Refugium, wenn man wirklich Rückzug sucht. Der Hof ist von Bäumen umgeben, man hat keine weite Aussicht, sondern eher Schutz vor fremden Blicken. Es ist ein abgelegenes Dorf, wo nicht viel los ist, daher ist es sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Die Besitzer wohnen im unteren Bereich des Hauses, mit der Familie. Es ist ruhig. Freundliche Leute und wenn man etwas braucht, einfach ansprechen und es wird eine Lösung gefunden. Keine Hast, hier ist Zeit zum Entspannen. Die Anlage bietet für große und kleine Familien alles was man benötigt, um eine erholsame Zeit zu verbringen. Kinder sind willkommen. Wer alleine reist, hat hier einen ruhigen Schlafplatz. Das Dorf Subotkovtsi ist abgelegen und das Gästehaus ist eines der letzten Häuser an der Dorfstraße. Da kommt niemand hin. In der Nacht hört man ab und zu wilde Hunde und Schakale in der Ferne jaulen. Du kannst entspannt sein. Das Eingangstor wird jeden Abend verriegelt und im hinteren Teil des Gartens, ist ein Wachhund der aufpasst und Alarm schlägt, wenn ein Eichhörnchen in den Hof klettert. Man kann Frühstück und Abendessen nach Absprache vorbestellen, Details beim Betreiber des Gästehauses nachfragen. Die Speisen sind typisch bulgarisch, üppig und sehr große Portionen. Selbstversorger können gegen Aufpreis eine offene Küche im Hof und eine im Wohn-Speise-Zimmer nutzen. Es gibt einen Kühlschrank. Lebensmittel einkaufen kann man in den Städten Gabrovo oder Tryavna. Google Maps berechnet die Route zu einem anderen Gästehaus in dem selben Dorf, daher ist es wichtig selbst die Adresse aktiv einzugeben, damit die Navigation korrekt ist. Wer bei längerem Aufenthalt einfach mal einen Abend in Ruhe chillen möchte, kann das bei voll ausgebuchtem Haus, nur im Bett tun. Dann kann das Zimmer etwas klein sein.
• Todor (10/5): Страхотно кътче за почивка и отдих - Страхотното местоположение на къщите, имаше чудесна гледка към балкана, абсолютна тишина и спокойствие. Място подходящо, както и за семейства с деца, така и за двойка и романтичен уикенд. Има хубав басейн, забавления за децата като стена за катерене. Сутрин домакините правят невероятни мекички и бухти с домашни сладка тяхно производство. Супер юутно място, посрещнаха ни сякаш си идваме у дома, предложиха ни да се настаним в по-удобна и тиха стая в новото крило. Домакините са семейство прекрасни хора, които с любов се грижат за своите гости и мястото което стопанисват. Благодаря за прекрасното преживяване! Единственото, което желаехме е да имаше хладилник в стаята или наблизо, но е разбираемо, тъй като новото крило все още е в довършителен процес и не беше кой знае какво неудобство :)

• Vanessa (5/5): Piscine agréable, mais ambiance un peu trop ‘collective’ avec des gens que nous ne connaissons pas du fait des chambres - La piscine et la gentillesse de la propriétaire ! Le petit déjeuner est copieux et « fait maison. » Les chambres sont petites et très proches les unes des autres. Le rapport qualité prix.
• Cosmina (10/5): We loved the place, the view was amazing and the people were very nice. - We booked 2 triple rooms and received 3 doubles, which for us was an upgrade. The rooms were clean, with new furniture with a great view. The rooms were separate from the main building where the kitchen area is (an outside summer kitchen with BBQ, fridge, big table, and everything needed) a different building on the street. The main building had a great garden, a big playground for the kids, a jacuzzi, and a swimming pool. The host was always very helpful and nice. Unfortunately, the pool was not yet prepared, as it was the beginning of June and not yet warm weather, but the children had fun in the jacuzzi.

• Ivana (10/5): A perfect getaway from city life! - A great spacious house that has everything you need for your stay! Very friendly hosts and delicious homemade food. The house is surrounded by nature and you can really feel disconnected from the busy city lifestyle. We'd love to go back again!

• Adrian (7/5): If you are unlucky to share the location with families with small children you might not sleep very well. Othwerwise goo - Good location, very hospitable owner. Poor sound insulation, practically non existent. Mattresess were not the best. Breakfast only made of kind of doughnuts and jam.
• Ruxanda (9/5): it is one of the rare places where you can hear the grass growing. - It is a village with many traditional construction elements (eg stone roof). The silence is complete, the cleanliness is perfect. Breakfast is very good. I would have liked to have a refrigerator in the room.

• Ralitsa (8/5): Very good - The staff/owners were very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were warm and clean. Breakfast was nice - 9lv per person. There's enough space to park. Note: If you don't want to pay for dinner cooked by the host, the usage of the kitchen in the common area comes to 40lv per day. Despite the negatives, we would book the place again. The dog fee was never mentioned. It would have been nice for this to be noted in the booking details or at least upon arrival, not the day we left. It's 10lv per day, which I also don't understand given the fact that there aren't any facilities for the dog nor the sheets are changed daily to justify the daily payment. A fixed fee for a dog, no matter how long the stay, would have made more sense. The water temperature of the shower changes based on its own mood. From super hot to freezing cold, the water pressure is also inconsistent. It's not a deal breaker if that wouldn't bother you too much.

The house is one of the best I have ever been which made me have a great night there. The owners are extremely friendly and they serve great home made breakfast. Highly recommended!
