• Alfonso (10/5): ❤️ home away from home - Marco and Johanna are truly amazing hosts. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel completely at home. The house itself is a charming colonial-style building with a beautiful backyard that adds to the tranquil atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, the mattresses are very comfortable, and the sheets are immaculately clean and bright white—attention to detail you can really appreciate. Located just two and a half blocks from the bus station, it's an easy walk to everything. The town of Villa de Leyva is peaceful, quiet, and filled with natural beauty. Johanna is incredibly helpful, offering great advice on what to do in the area and generously sharing her own experiences. During my stay, I met wonderful travelers from France, Italy, Honduras, Colombia, and more—it was truly an international experience. I had such a wonderful time here. I absolutely recommend this hostel and will definitely stay again. Thank you Marco and Johanna, for making me feel so welcome and at home. I had to leave 😞
• Wing (7/5): Good - The location was good. The owners were friendly and helpful. Showers truly were hot, a rarity in this part of the world It was a bit dusty, I had a very low bed so I was itching due to dust and animal hair.

• Aisha (7/5): Good location, cleanliness could be improved - Good location about 5 mins walking to the terminal and 8 mins to the main plaza. Cleanliness could be improved. I stayed 2 nights and on the first day I saw a stain in the upstairs toilet that grossed me out and made me not want to use it. The bathroom was not cleaned at all my second day there, as the stain was still there and I saw the bathroom being cleaned on my last day as I was leaving. There are 3 big dogs in the hostel, which was not mentioned in the booking. Had I known this I would not have stayed there. The dogs were friendly, however there was a lot of dog hair in the living room/common area, which made me limit my time there. The owners are nice but one of them gives online classes, and in the evening they ask you to talk quietly which I feel isn’t conducive to a hostel atmosphere. I’m not a loud person and felt that it’s unreasonable to ask guests who are speaking at a normal volume to be quiet in a hostel common area when it’s not even nighttime.

• Alex (7/5): Good - The hosts are really kind, the hostel is nice and it's in a good position. The owner was having work calls from the common area every day of our stay, so it was difficult to use the kitchen or just chill out. There are some nice dogs living in the house, which was fine for us but it was not specified in the description and this could be a problem for someone that's allergic or is afraid. In the room there was nothing for hanging clothes or jackets, no storage for clothes and in the bathroom there was no toilet seat.

Johana and her husband were super friendly and shared great tips on local attractions and dining. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking for a clean and welcoming stay

• Diego (6/5): Those are really shared rooms - Good attention from its owners. They are friendly and very kind. They are starting in Booking, and they have an error on the description/specs of their rooms. The ones which have 3 beds are really shared room, however they don't specify that. I was able to know that just through call some hours before coming so it was not possible for me canceling the booking for free. It's important to you to know from this comment that the 3 bed rooms are really shared room because there is no way to know it and maybe you get there and you cannot find another property or you have to pay the cancelation.
