Everything we wanted for easy, accessible travel through central Roma! - Location is wonderful and centrally located close to so many incredible places We throughly enjoyed our stay without any issues, but for the elderly or mobility impaired it might be worth noting the stairways are not be ideal for comfortability walking up (especially with suitcases)

Purtroppo, l’esperienza complessiva non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. Le foto presenti sul sito non rispecchiano fedelmente la realtà della struttura, creando una discrepanza tra quanto promesso e quanto effettivamente trovato. Inoltre, abbiamo riscontrato alcune criticità per quanto riguarda la pulizia e la cura degli ambienti, aspetti che riteniamo fondamentali per garantire un soggiorno confortevole. Nel complesso, la posizione è ottima, ma ci auguriamo che venga posta maggiore attenzione alla manutenzione e agli standard qualitativi offerti agli ospiti.

• Laura-Isabell (4/5): Wer auf Hygiene keinen großen Wert legt, hat hier dafür eine gute Lage - Gute, zentrale Lage Seit knapp einem Jahr nicht gewaschene Tagesdecke (Schild von der Reinigung im Mai 2025, wir waren hier im März 2026!). Es gab keine richtige Decke, nur eine Art Laken und die erwähnte Tagesdecke. Unbequeme Kissen. Außerdem waren schwarze Spuren an den Wänden, die möglicherweise Schimmel sind. Zimmer ist außerdem sehr sehr klein. Das WLAN funktioniert nicht richtig und man hat dort auch keinen richtigen Empfang.

• Vesela (10/5): Great value, more like a luxurious hotel than a holiday apartment! - Incredible apartments! Greatly located between piazza Navona and the Pantheon. You are just 3 minutes away from the main attractions and still the apartment is facing inwards so there was 0 noise. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. It is perfectly equipped with everything you might need- nespresso Maschine, water kettle... It rather felt like we were in a 4-star hotel, than an apartment! They cleaned the room every day (also not typical for b&bs in Italy). The bath was very spacious with a big shower and a surprise- an amazing jet-tub (jacuzzi). Everything new and functioning impeccable (if you travel a lot through Italy you might know that baths are almost always problematic and old-fashioned). The communication was very easy and the guy from the staff was very nice. All in all- a great find for a great price! We‘ll be back! You might want to add some blankets as the sheet was thin for the night and the duvet rather stuffy, but that’s the only thing that wasn’t perfect :)
• Ludivine (9/5): Starhome Panthéon - Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Rome. La chambre était très belle, propre et confortable, idéale pour se reposer après les visites. L’emplacement est parfait : à deux pas du Panthéon des ruines de Pompéi, quartier animé de nombreux commerces et restaurants. Joseph a été très disponible et attentif tout au long du séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cet emplacement pour profiter pleinement de Ce quartier de Rome. Nous avons choisi cette chambre principalement pour la baignoire balnéo, qui était un critère important dans notre réservation. Malheureusement, celle-ci ne fonctionnait pas correctement : une seule buse était opérationnelle, ce qui ne permettait pas de profiter réellement de la balnéothérapie. Nous avons signalé le problème, mais malgré cela, nous n’avons pas pu en bénéficier durant notre séjour. C’est regrettable, d’autant plus que le tarif de la chambre est plus élevé en raison de cet équipement. Notons aussi un manque de luminosité dans la chambre car la seule fenêtre donne sur une autre façade. Par ailleurs, le stationnement dans le secteur est assez compliqué. Il est préférable de bien s’organiser à l’avance, notamment en raison de la zone ZTL (zone à trafic limité), afin d’éviter toute difficulté d’accès.

Muy agradable, comodo y silencioso La habitacion super confortable El acceso es por escalera, dos pisos y yo iba con mucho equipaje, asi que costo un poco la subida, sobre todo porque estaba sola. Pero nada grave. Volvere sin dudarlo!

Joseph was incredibly helpful, friendly and an efficient communicator when we had questions. Very minor but the bed spread colour being red... it was different in the pictures. It needed to be more subtle to match the decor.
• Barbara (9/5): Great location, very comfortable bed, beautiful washroom, very clean, excellent customer service. - Really appreciated Joseph being there to let us in and how clean he (and Matthew) kept the room each day. Joseph also arranged a taxi for us when we had to get to the airport as he said he would. Very pleasant customer service. We loved the location. Lots of shops within walking distance. The only drawback was so many steps to the second floor. However, we are 69 so most people wouldn’t mind at all 😊

Pas de lumière du jour, vitre pas totalement opacifiée entre la chambre et la douche (pile au niveau des toilettes !!) donc obligation de fermer le rideau, lavabo de la sdb un peu bouché (écoulement de l’eau laborieux).

They kept sending messages about the City tax even though i paid, they had no clue about the information they ask vía Booking, they had no way to check the information online. They said that if didn't paid the tax i wouldnt be able to get the codes to enter the property

Should note that this isn’t a hotel, it’s an apartment room, has everything you need and not an issue unless you specifically want the hotel experience Did smell a bit musty. Maybe a little pricey for what it is. Quite a few stairs, we knew about this in advance but for anyone staying just note there isn’t another option apart from stairs.
• Fred (10/5): Great 3 night stay to wrap up our 21 days of Italian holiday vacation. - The room and bathroom were perfect. The room with a perfect working air conditioner served as an oasis for us during the hot and humid days. Our room had a jetted tub but we simply used the shower to cool off. Joseph, our StarHome host, was exceptional. We stayed for 3 nights at StarHome, and we had been traveling for 18 days prior from Milan to Amalfi. He was the best host, bar none. We are two senior citizens and Joseph went out of his way to help us with everything especially with our luggage. Great communication skills and very personable. Upon arrival, he met with us and carried some heavy suitcases up 5 flights of stairs (45 steps). We had to check out at 6 am to catch our flight back home. Joseph again made a special trip to meet us at that time and helped us with our luggage and secure a taxi for us. This is in addition to his normal responsibilities as well as personally checking with us on how things are going and if there's anything that we need. Awesome host to have for a worry free stay in Rome. NO elevator! 2nd level room = 45 steps
• Dene (9/5): Great stay, great location, great customer service. - Clean and very comfortable. Location was great, close to restaurants, walking distance to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. A property you would return to. Joseph was wonderful, answered our questions, assisted with our luggage on arrival and departure, made our stay one to remember. Property on second floor, no lift. But we knew when we booked. But could be difficult for people with limited mobility.

Joseph checked us in and helped throughout our stay and he was super warm, friendly and helpful. Room was large. Great tv. Comfiest bed we’ve ever slept in. Huge spa. High pressure shower. Lots of bench space and cupboards. Strong aircon. Location was phenomenal - close to eateries/icecream etc. Walking distance to everything but tucked on a quiet street away from the immediate crowds. Everything was amazing wish we stayed longer.
• Tetiana (8/5): Good if you book for reasonable price - Location is great, in the heart of the city centre. Staff is super responsive and welcoming. You should realise it’s a room for rent in the residential building and not a hotel. The only reason I decreased the rate is the price. Probably it’s too high because of the jubilee year in Vatican. If the price would be lower I would rate 10. And I would also recommend staff to use fungus spray in bathroom and clean the wash basins as they are coming blocked easily. Do not expect any view from the room as they are facing internal yard, not a fancy one. But overall the accommodation is good if you book for a reasonable price. • Chris (9/5): Amazing location but with a few niggles - The location was perfect everythin within half an hour's walk.. Was clean, sheets and bedding etc. Were very clean. Daily clean was done to a reasonable standard too.. But the real reason I'm giving this a high score is really for the location and cleanliness... again if you're lookin for good location I just cannot fault this.. Plenty of places to eat within 10minutes walking distance. Also to the hot spots of the likes of the pantheon, Spanish Steps and trevi fountain. And even the colosseum and Vatican.. We walked to both of those within half an hour at a casual stroll. But niggles were really just things like.. Room was a little smaller than what it looked on the pictures, wasn't keen on the mattress topper on the bed. Was not particular comfortable especially if you suffer from a bad back like we do. Sometimes the drainage from the toilet would give off a slight smell.

• Doone (9/5): A very comfortable well equipped room very close to The Pantheon and the main attractions. - Very well equipped comfortable room in a central location. The room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor with no lift. The view from the window was a fairly ugly courtyard.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They organised transport for us to go to the airport early in the morning and they helped retrieve my phone when I left it in the taxi. Many many stairs to get into the property. About 5-6 flights. Stay away if you can’t lift suitcases up and down as it was a bit of a struggle. Staff asked you to WhatsApp as soon as you arrived and with any questions but they never replied via WhatsApp. The room was generally clean but the appliances like the coffee machine and the kettle definitely had not been cleaned and had existing water in them.
