• Nadine (8/5): Gut - Die Zimmer sind gross und haben eine Klimaanlage. Ausserdem war die Unterkunft fast leer, weshalb wir quasi ein Privatzimmer hatten. Die Volunteers sind sehr schlecht informiert und müssen bei jedem Check-In mit dem Besitzer Rücksprache halten.
• Lina (7/5): - Kostenlose Fahrräder sowie Surfbretter und eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Nettes Personal mit einigen Tipps zum Erkunden der Gegend. Dreckiger Kühlschrank und ein Bad mit einer kaputten Toilette ,die ständig auslief und zu wenig gereinigt wurde (daher stank es im Bad).

• Océane (10/5): super séjour - le côté tente au lieu d’un dortoir classique donne vraiment une intimité, des minis ventilateurs sont à disposition pour chaque lit, une armoire qui se ferme à clef dans chaque tente, la cuisine tout équipée en extérieur est vraiment top. l’ambiance est très sympa et l’emplacement est proche de tout ainsi avec un accès presque direct à la plage

• MARIE (8/5): Excellent stay, would definitely recommend - We had a very nice stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were more comfortable than we expected and the location of the hostel is great (less than 5 min to the beach!!). We are nomad workers and the WiFi was very reliable and quick!

Conta com uma cozinha bem equipada (com filtro de água disponível), área de lazer com piscina e locais para descanso. O quarto que ficamos foi privativo, porém contava com 2 beliches a nossa disposição, super confortável! A localização é perfeita, 3 minutos a pé até a praia. Para quem vai para surfar, o pico é perfeito! O Josué foi quem nos recebeu, muito prestativo e educado, sempre nos auxiliou em qualquer dúvida. Não poderia ter sido melhor a nossa experiência. Com certeza voltaremos!

• Fabio (9/5): Excelente custo benefício - O local não oferece café da manhã, mas tem uma cozinha comunitária que possui, todos os utensílios necessários para você fazer seu café da manhã, almoço e janta, possui mercado a 100 metros. Acho que poderia ter um chuveiro elétrico para aquecer um pouco a água.

• Jens (9/5): Super Urlaub - Die Lage war eine 10/10! Alles in Laufnähe, Strand, Geschäfte und die Stadt. Wir haben auch selber gekocht in der Küche. Es war alles vorhanden. Wir sind sogar länger geblieben als gewollt und haben noch drei Tage verlängert. Das Personal ist auch super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Wir kommen sicher wieder! Eigentlich nichts, es war alles okay. Manchmal ist das Wlan ausgefallen, aber das ist in Costa Rica normal!
• Daniel Filipe (4/5): Okay stay to enjoy the beach and sleep nearby - The location is very good, near the beach and other services. One of the lady staff members was extremely nice and helpfully. The owner was kind to us. First, what seams like a scam is the 13% card fee if you don’t pay with cash (tax avoidance??). There is no information about this before we arrives there. Neither booking nor the hotel’s communication. Would have been better to be charged by bookings and not pay on site. In the private rooms, there is no isolation so you can hear the street, the neighborhood partys and the people walking in the above floor. Our shower got clogged up and there stayed a very unpleasant smell (the owner came to unclog it and clean it within reasonable time). The room lacks hangers. The common areas look big but when there are many guests it gets too crowded really quickly (kitchen area). It lacks a proper chill out place (only some hard seats/plastic chairs/and swing benches. During the day is really hot and sunny so a nice shadow place to hang out would be nice (instead there was a big parking with a lot of cars in the way) The vibe between the guests was not bad but also not the friendliest. Some weird vibe (comparing to other places we’ve been). There is no backup for power cuts that apparently happen in the area. So you get no A/C, no freezer, no internet…
• Alvaro (10/5): Familia con niños en hábitat- Genial - Todo!!! 5 mins caminando a la playa, no puede ser mejor Desde el check in, Renata nos recibió con una gran sonrisa e hizo que nos sintiéramos cómodos. Conocimos a personas de diferente nacionalidades y eso para mí es enriquecedor. También, conocimos a Gabriel y su familia que son los dueños que nos hicieron sentir aún mejor. Josué no se quedó atrás, siempre atento y agradecido por que somos también buenos huéspedes. Volvería mil veces!! Gracias por todo En realidad, tienen planes de mejorar aún más las instalaciones, va a ser aún mejor.

Las chicas super atentas, la habitación me pareció bien y con aire esta perfecto, no así en las carpas Las carpas muy calurosas, y el baño pequeño para tanta gente. Hubo 1 día que no había agua y no sabían porque, tuve que ir al baño de otra habitación que si tenía agua. Y los colchones son muy incomodos

• Lara (9/5): - Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Betten gemütlich ! Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und es gab sogar eine Außendusche, sodass wir nachm auschecken noch an den Strand gegangen sind und uns danach abduschen konnten. Es gab immer frisches gekühltes Wasser und das Personal war freundlich. Die Lage ist top, es gibt süße Läden zum shoppen um die Ecke und der Strand ist 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Im Hostel kann man sogar Surfboards ausleihen. Den ersten Abend ist gegen 20:00 das Wasser ausgefallen und wir konnten weder duschen, noch kochen oder die klospülung betätigen. Das darf eigentlich nicht passieren 🙈

They had some overbooking, so instead of our private tent we had to share a room with two other girls - which was okay. The toilet flush aswell as the light in the bathroom weren‘t working

Varmt att bo i tält men ändå relativt prisvärt för att - Väldigt bra läge, gång avstånd till stranden och en mysig restaurang/café precis intill. Fanns ett trevligt utekök som var fräscht. Personalen var hjälpsam och tillmötesgående! Delade badrummet städades varje dag och det var skönt att kunna låsa om sig när man duschade. Det blev väldigt varmt i tältet, det fanns endast 2 fläktar men det funkade ändå. Man kunde inte låsa men det fanns ett skåp + nyckel.
• Eci (10/5): - Ich hab mich als Alleinreisende Frau super wohl gefühlt und kann diese Unterkunft jeden empfehlen. Man hat totale Privatsphäre und fühlt sich familiär aufgehoben. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Praktikanten in der Unterkunft sind ein Segen und stehen für alle Fragen offen. Hier herrscht Pura Vida & Hippie good vibes. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. Der Strand und die Restaurants sind mit wenigen Schritten erreichbar. Ich hab’s geliebt hier und würd jederzeit wieder kommen
• Colin (6/5): We enjoyed our time here so don’t be put off by the points we raised just trying to help other travelers - It’s close to beach and it’s beautiful sunsets. Great restaurants and bars nearby. Owner seemed very friendly and there is nice touches. There were a few things that work for us (not all the fault of accommodation and we are a bit older than average age of guests there) - kitchen area rules around cleaning up after yourself were not followed. I lost count of times I had to do others washing up before food prep, just to make it hygenic - WiFi - seems to cut out every half an hour! - toilets and showers, too small and only two showers meant queues in morning and evening - think before booking a tent, they are very hot to sleep in! Also we found out that on ours the zip had broken. We were offered a different tent but to be honest as each tent has lockers a zip doesn’t make much difference as valuables are in locker.

• Marlynn (8/5): Leuke ervaring om te glampen, super lief personeel! - De meiden die bij het hostel werken zijn ontzettend lief en helpen je met alle vragen! Vanuit het hostel is het strand binnen handbereik en ook het centrum met leuke boutiques en restaurantjes is dichtbij. De keuken erg schoon, fijn hostel! Ze zouden het hostel net wat gezelliger kunnen maken met zitplekken beneden. Wij vonden het ook jammer dat er geen optie voor een tweepersoons bed was. Dan is het wat aantrekkelijker voor stellen misschien.

Josué the owner is super nice and welcoming! always trying to help! the place is beautiful and the best ambience. we slept in the private room, there were no hangers in the room or bathroom. SUPER necessary! the WC was leaking and towels would end in the floor.
• Celine (8/5): - Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett. Die Küche lädt zum Kochen ein. Die Badezimmer werden täglich geputzt. Leider wird es, wie erwartet, in den Zelten sehr heiß, was auch die kleinen Ventilatoren nicht ausgleichen können.

• Isa (5/5): - Bra läge, nära till stranden och till resturanger/caféer. Trevlig personal. Inte så renligt, rummet vi hade var rätt slitet och sängarna var osköna. Inget varmvatten i duschen och badrummet var ofräscht. Andra gäster som var högljudda under kvällstid och inte följde ”reglerna” att det skulle vara tyst efter 21. Inte prisvärt, blev även dyrare än vad det stod när vi bokade.

• Chantal (9/5): Great place to stay! Book it!!! - Very friendly hosts, they were very helpful. Especially Gabriel and Johan were allways trying to make us feel at home and at ease. Josue is very friendly too, he helps you whenever you ask him. The location is really good. Close to the beach, restaurants and to the supermarket. (And the great Soda Pura Vida, and Italian Icecream shop Gaucha). Everything you need is in the kitchen. The rooms and beds are great! And beautifull wallpaintings and decoration are a good addition to the vibe. The house rules said it is quiet time at 9pm. But it never really was. There were allways some people to chill and sit with. And that's a good thing! It isn't a party hostel though. Nothing really, but I would plant some extra plants, for example to separate the parking lot a bit more from the sitting area. And I would place some bean bags on the terrace next to the wall. There are some chairs there, but I would make that part a nice chillout zone.

• Luca (7/5): - schöne saubere Küche mit mehreren Kochfeldern. Ein großer Kühlschrank. Die Zelte an sich sehr groß und echt eine coole Idee. Der Besitzer ist super nett und Hilfsbereit. Strand und Restaurants 1Min entfernt. Man hört alles von draußen und die Straße ist sehr laut. Dadurch dass die Zelte recht dicht aneinander stehen hört man die Nachbarn und wird wach wenn sie Nachts das Licht anmachen. Und Mücken. Aber ist eben ein Zelt, das kann man auch vorher wissen.
• Katrin (9/5): gemütliches Hostel - - nettes Personal (sehr fürsorglich, Angebot und mit dem Auto zum nächsten ATM oder nach Montezuma zu fahren) - gut ausgestattete und saubere Küche - Nähe zum Strand - die Betten waren etwas unbequem - man kann nicht mit Kreditkarte zahlen und die ATMs in Santa Teresa sind gerne mal leer - wie die meisten Unterkünfte, liegt diese an der Hauptstraße und es ist nachts lauter

• Niels (9/5): - Top Lage in Strandnähe bestes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in ganz Santa Teresa! wir haben unsere Unterkunft verlängert. Die Zimmer ist relativ einfach, aber es hat alles was man braucht, es ist sauber und man kommt mit vielen Leuten in Kontakt.
