With only four beautifully appointed rooms, this luxury boutique hotel offers an intimate and romantic experience unlike anywhere else. Each room is thoughtfully designed — cosy yet refined — with every comfort considered. The atmosphere is effortlessly elegant, from the soft French-inspired décor to the serene gardens that lead to a sparkling pool at the back of the property. We dined in-house on our first night and were blown away — the fine dining experience was exceptional, every dish showcasing incredible flavour and creativity. What truly sets Le Mas apart, though, is the people. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel special, from the moment you arrive until the moment you (reluctantly) leave. Their warmth and attention to detail make the stay feel deeply personal. A perfect blend of French charm and Australian hospitality — Le Mas Barossa is a place to relax, reconnect and indulge. Simply an amazing, romantic stay. With only 4 rooms, it can be very quiet at times. We didn't mind it as we were happy to have a private getaway but it took a little bit of getting used to. It did mean however that we had the whole venue to ourselves which ended up being a bonus. But, in summary, not the venue for anyone who prefers the business of larger hotels.

Alice was a fabulous host…made us feel so welcome and chill, and had an incredible massage experience. No detail was spared! There was no TV in the room, but that wasn’t a bad thing. I just wasn’t expecting it. But lovely, warm and cozy spaces to curl up with a glass of wine or book.

• Liselotte (8/5): Great boutique hotel in the middle of the vineyards - Very comfortable room, great breakfast and the personnel was very attentive. You can loan the bikes which we did and do a great bike tour. We would have liked another good chair in the room.
• Dogukan (10/5): Overall, great experience. Would recommend to everyone. - Incredible spot for a couples vacation. The garden and the vineyards are beautiful. Marine was helpful with everything related to our stay. St Hugo’s and Jacob’s Creek are a short bike ride away and you can borrow some of the ebikes at the hotel to go for a scenic ride across the vineyards. Marine helped with all of our reservations and bookings, so we had the whole weekend filled with activities. Also, their house wine and gin are both amazing.

The beds were like sleeping on clouds, everything was available for our stay. The breakfast was a feast and my dietary requirements were more than catered for. The Breakfast was amazing, home baked Croissants and Baguettes, fresh fruits, jams, so delicious... The best Almond Croissant we have ever had. We loved the E bike hire, the personal Concierge service, the local gins by the pool and the most amazing Cheese platter... We would highly recommend and would love to come back...
