• Rebecca (10/5): - Great location! Lovely little suite. Chris was very informative and friendly. Would 100% book again. Only thing was the bed wasnt the comfiest as I feel like it dipped in the middle and was a bit hard. But thats personal preference.
• Ana Cristina (10/5): - Very nice and helpful host. The highlight is the location - right in the city centre but away from the noise. Good amenities and all that is necessary to have breakfast or a simple meal in the house. We liked everything, but the fact that it is a basement apartment may be a bit disappointing due to the lack of bigger windows and a view. Not problem for us, since we spent most of the time outside.

• Ian (9/5): - Very comfortable and spacious room.. Well equipped for basic meals. Convenient for all Amsterdam sightseeing and nightlife. Very clean on arrival and plenty of towels provided. Host very friendly and helpful Nothing we didn't like but please note there are steep stairs to enter the room.

• Amanda (10/5): Well worth booking!! - Marijie and Bas were always reachable, met us on arrival, explained about the building, gave us some local history and valuable tips! Although it was a basement room, it had windows which opened, which is very important for me. The beds were two singles put together, but with a double mattress topper, so could be booked as a twin or double, and was very comfortable. Plenty of light and space. There was cutlery, cups, glasses, plates, washing liquid and a sponge. In addition, there was a microwave, kettle, tea and coffee, sugar, sweetners and creamer, and a lovely treat of mini stroopwaffles! In the cupboard was also an ironing board and iron, and fans! The location was AMAZING! A 5-10min walk from all major tourist attractions, but you wouldn't think it as the street was so quiet. Perfect. Absolutely nothing, easily one of the best accommodations we've stayed in.

• Ronald (6/5): Amsterdamit - Quiet side street close to centre. Comfortable bed. Tea and coffee maker, iron, hair drier etc. No wash basin in kitchen area. Concrete floor. Steep steps down to front door.

• Charlotte (10/5): Quirky apartment in a great location - Quirky little apartment in a great location! The property owner was very good and accommodated an early check in as we landed early morning. Bed was super comfy and the shower was good There is a slight draft that comes through the front door but the heating works well in the apartment so not too bad

• Heather (7/5): Central location close to metro. - Central location near a Metro for easy travel around Amsterdam. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Good check in experience with Mary Grace and her gorgeous dog. Wifi was dodgy at best, kept cutting out. Can feel a little claustrophobic being in a basement with no natural light. Had to buy a plate to have two to use.

• Medicathome (8/5): Great Location with a fair degree of comfort - The location was great, just 2 minutes to Nieuwmarkt and a 15 minute walk to Centraal Station. Their was eateries aplenty as well as an Albert Heins and an Etos just around the corner. The home was in a quiet street with a canal at the end and a bridge where you could sit and watch the canal boats go under, very relaxing. The unit was fairly spacious and had a microwave, kettle, TV, bar fridge and heating. Very cosy and very relaxing. I would stay again next time I frequented Amsterdam.

Was met by Mary-Grace that showed me around the place and also told me a few food places to check out and places to see she was really helpful. The place itself was really cosy with everything you need for the stay, honestly couldnt find anything wrong. Check out was very easy and the host was always there if you needed them. Would definitely stay again :) Nothing

• Nigel (10/5): Peaceful place with great character - A place of great character, not a luxury hotel. In the basement of an old Amsterdam house, it is rather quirky but very well equipped. There are so many thoughtful touches that helped to make our stay smooth and relaxing. Bos, the owner, was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Best of all, it is centrally located but well away from noisy bars and crowds. Absolutely silent at night. We will definitely go back when we visit Amsterdam. So enjoy, but please don't book it when we want to go!!! Nothing.

• Thompson (10/5): Had a wonderful time. - The location was fantastic. Mary Grace met us there, let us in early to drop off our luggage and showed us all around. She was a great communicator with us. The price was high, but I think that’s just Amsterdam.
• Chris (9/5): Expensive but the location in the center of the city really can’t be beat! - We were greeted warmly by the property manager who showed us around and kept us great communication with us during our 1 week stay. We liked how he provided a recommendation book of suggested dining and things to do. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city and subway nearby. Perfect for our honeymoon adventures. The amenities were also pretty decent. The bed was painful and lumpy (please change the mattress) and it being an underground room made it less than ideal (maybe more lighting on the ceiling would make the place more cheerful).

• Ilan (8/5): Wonderful stay - Mary-Grace was the perfect hostess. The apartment is clean, located within walking distance from coffeeshops, supermarkets, restaurants, canals... The only thing needed is anti slip strips on the stairs to the apartment. It tends to get slippery after the rain and a potential hazard.

It’s 2 mins away from public transport, cafes, coffee shops and restaurants. Bas was very warm and friendly and helped us a lot in being comfortable in a new place.
• Niklas (9/5): Superb - This has been my 5th visit to Amsterdam, the location aka studio is a beauty. Located very sneaking and not that loud or noisy in the evening or night. Also to mention is, no matter what u were looking for everything is reachable by feet in few minutes, bars, restaurants, shops etc. Really worth it The owner is a nice comfortable well informed guy always would come back for another visit Theres nothing i didn’t like

• Anees555 (10/5): Perfect home from home - I was incredibly lucky to get a booking here at last minute. It saved my Amsterdam trip after having to flee an awful hotel not so far away. Highly recommend staying here, it is homely, comfortable and has everything you need. Great location, comfortable bed, nice lighting, and perfect shower. Walking distance to the main centre and attractions. Bas was a lovely host and very accommodating. Easy to contact and really friendly. Thank you, I will definitely stay again.
