- Frank (9/5): Great stay near Sandton and Melrose. Perfect location. - The staff was very lenient towards a small booking mistake which was very welcoming. Wish we could have tested the pool. But the stay was exactly as planned and comfy. The phone wires were stripped. The TV had no DStv connection but with WiFi we could watch on our account. So no worries. Attention to details is needed.

- Dalmaine (3/5): Bad Review - No comment Staff: friendly Manager who lives in a unit next to the one that we were in is very loud late at nite and early morning. The property: The first unit was not up to standard We were moved to a better room. But this room also came with challenges. The coffee station does not have a plug. The bedding was clean but very old. The toilet seat does not fit the toilet pot. The bathroom door could not close properly. The hand basin was blocked. The shower caddy was dirty with old soap. The shower doors missing but was replaced with a shower curtain The communial kitchen is very dirty, smelly, grimmy and full of flies. We had to clean our room and the microwave in the kitchen before use. Booking.com please verify the properties on your website. As the pictures are very misleading.

Didn't get the room we booked on Booking.com, and when queried was told that the fault is with Booking.com as they have the wrong information on site. 3. It is a queen room booked for 2 people yet you only receive one towel .When another towel was requested I was told that they don't do that, it is just one towel per room - this was not disclosed on Booking.com.

My sleep quality was excellent, and the comfort mattress felt like sleeping at home, The staff at Rekky Guesthouse were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. (PAT, ABI & the tall dark man who drives a white car). I will definitely visit again and again
- Andreas (2/5): - Nothing For a 4 star rating with beautiful pictures you expect it to be clean, professional and well maintained but it was a huge dissapointment. From starting at reception the staff is not friendly and constant noise of TV in your ear while checking in with programs the staff sit and watch. The room was not clean with stain marks on the tables, mirrors, tv and bathroom furnishings. Walls have marks on them and door frames have paint coming off. I found used earbuds on the floor, used soap from previous guests on the shower floor and a broken and filthy chair at the desk space. The curtains are torn and linen worn from use. Kittens run in and out of the room as if its their usual playground. The swimming pool is dirty and the outside tables are not clean and stable to use either. I did not have much sleep and eventually left just after 4am in the morning having to wake up the security fast asleep to open the gate for me. With a place that is fully booked in the middle of the week with high ocuoancy I cannot see why their should not be money to maintain 4 start standards and keep the place clean. It does not look like the owners know what is really going on here.

I don't know if it was working. I couldn't lock my room door lock faulty. The room lights were poor lighting. No Wi-Fi. The shower glass door was broken. I had to use shower on open door space. The phone on the room was not working. I couldn't phone your reception.

- Kele (8/5): I loved my stay would definitely come again - The check in process was seamless ,the security we felt safe the clean room fresh linen it was great value for the money, I also loved the pool in the sun and clean, the mini bar on site And the staff where helpful and gave us privacy Very loud noise from neighbouring guests who had a party till after 2am. Quiet times need to be monitored for guests to respect other guests someone should patrol and check if this is adhered to
