• Nomathamsanqa (7/5): On the overall my stay was pleasent - Didn't order breakfast but the location was close to the University, which was what l was looking for. The fact that they don't have charges at least one type C in charger to borrow to guests on request. I struggled to Uber to Campus because upon check in l realised l had not brought my charger with me and there was literally nowhere to get one in the premises.

• Anastacia (8/5): Very lovely stay ! - The staff , the facility and how spacious everything was and the fact that we were a group and they ensured we all were close together. Having a fridge in the room was really great ! Working aircons were so nice to have Smoking zones far from rooms and wifi was weak and didn’t work too well

The floors were spotless, and the room was neatly organized, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. I also appreciated the staff’s professionalism; they were consistently attentive and courteous throughout my stay. A truly well-managed and dependable team. At first, I was concerned about the poor Wi-Fi connection, which nearly left me disappointed. However, to my surprise, the issue was quickly resolved by the staff—even without me reporting it. That proactive service really stood out. I also had a bit of difficulty figuring out how the shower operated, as the water control was integrated into the shower head—a design I wasn't familiar with. Thankfully, the staff were quick to assist and explained it clearly. Their responsiveness made all the difference.

• Moila (1/5): Extremely disappointed 😢 - The location is close to the University of Johannesburg as we were traveling for my niece’s graduation. The lady that assisted with the check in was rude, told us that the room we booked was allocated to someone else and that is not her responsibility because she is just the cleaner and telling us that she was knocking off. The owner didn’t even try to assist when the “cleaner” called her. It was a cold night and the old air condition was not working, the guy (staff) pressed a few buttons, told us that it will warm up and it never did. The kettle’s was damaged (not closing) there the kettle doesn’t switch itself off. The stupidly designed tea cups spill the tea. We were only told in the morning that the price we paid does not include breakfast, at the time we didn’t even want their breakfast and went to a McDonald’s for breakfast. The bed was nice and firm to my liking, the bedding was white and clean. When we woke up there was no electricity, the stuff told us that there’s a backup system but it is not working. Overall experience was very disappointing, will never book this place ever again.

However we got in very late on our first night. The second room didn't have mirrors outside of the ones in the bathrooms

• Fikile (3/5): I am glad only stayed for a night and not good value for money. - I liked nothing, not good for value of money for a night 1.The were insects in the kettle used for boiling water, I rinsed and the following day they still there, you need to fumigate insects. 2. You need to put drinking water inside the rooms, do not expect us to use bathroom water for drinking. 3. There Dstv/TV was not set to be working 4.Aircon works on one mode for cooler air only 5. When you shower there is no curtain or glass to prevent water from escaping, therefore water runs on the ground and makes the bathroom messy. 6. U also need to refill those hand wash foams/lotion when they finished, also be placed in a right place not in a shower.

• Shereen (3/5): The place is very shoddily run. It dies not live up to expectations. You need to up your game. - Door did not close, lamp did not work, air conditioner did not work, no fresh milk for tea, no bottled water in bar fridge. Main fridge had been turned off and there were only four hot cokes in it. It seemed that there had been no preparation for our arrival. Moved to another room upstairs across yard. Spotlights mounted on buildings / rooms opposite lit up the room the whole night, and the curtains were too flimsy to keep them out, so it was hard to sleep with so much light coming in. Sons lamp did not work. Kettle was in a cupboard and I had to plug it in on the floor because cord could not reach the desk. Only Lola at reception, so no service. We have to run up and down stairs to get help.
