• Laurah (5/5): - The lady at the reception who was also my maintenance lady and house keeper. She really worked hard to make me comfortable. The room was super cold, we couldn't change the temperature of the air conditioner (me and the reception lady). She then brought me a heater but it kept tripping the electricity so I couldn't use it. There was no water and a blanket in the room upon my arrival. It's like they were not ready for me. Lastly, the wifi connection in room 13 is WEAK.

• ASHNEE (9/5): Excellent - Loved the breakfast and our room. Very clean and comfortable. Parking was limited when there was a function/event happening at the hotel.
• justice (1/5): - I didn't stay there and canceled my booking also but it seems my cancelation is regretted without my concern. Aa far as this is concerned I m prepare to take legal action. Because I was there but it not the same as you see in picture. Even at the gate you should knock first before entering the premises which is not safe. I have send the email to the manager but not responding or call me.

• Dhlamini (8/5): Keep up the good standards - Summerview is a recommend. Location was perfect. Atmosphere in the hotel was quite and relaxing. Staff was professional, attended to our needs timely. TV was malfunctioning so had we no entertainment some evenings.

• Charlotte (8/5): I enjoyed my short stay and was made to feel very welcome. - My bedroom was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were of a good quality. I enjoyed the garden and the peacefulness. The aircon in my room was leaking water which made the floor very slippery. I did report this to reception and they said they would get it fixed the following day.

• Rudolf (8/5): Great! ...in the 80s, early 90s. - *Location*: Perfect for our purpose. *Reception, care and service*: Kgomotso was the perfect welcoming-party, receptionist, chef and waiter, always perfectly polite, pleasant and helpful from the receiving us at our vehicle outside, doing our check-in, taking our orders at breakfast and preparing delicious omelettes to our liking. Really a jewel in the crown of Summerview Boutique Hotel. No proper coffee. *JACOBS* or Nescafé soluble coffee in sachets do *not* count as decent substitutes. The carpeted floors and stairwell are dated and musty. Stuck in the 80s. The toilet roll holder in our bathroom is loose and swings down from it's upright position as soon as one touches the paper roll, which then drops onto the bathroom and rolls away unrolling as it goes. Rather humorous the first time, but irritating thereafter. We didn't complain, because we simply placed the roll on the hand basin, after seeing the same trap being set again on the second morning, and just didn't bother to.

We did ask for 2 beds but found a double bed when we arrived so that had to be changed. *There were 2 half toilet rolls in stead of new ones in the bathroom upon arrival. *The bathroom didn't have frosted windows and the curtain was almost see through at night so we had to switch off the light in order to shower/bath in the night. *We booked for breakfast - on the first day there was no table set and breakfast took a long time. * Well, breakfast on the second day was not available as it was Jan 1st and had to be brought in. It was served in a cardboard box with plastic knives and forks. They didn't even bother to plate it for us, and we had to sit outside the dining room. * Staff were difficult to get hold of as nobody was on reception. Eventually I found a way via what's app.

• Manser (10/5): - We only stayed 1 night, but we loved it. Will definitely use them in future again. There was no milk, but only Creamer. Small long life milk will be appreciated
• Chimombo (5/5): The stay was fair. - The breakfast was well prepared, and the location was quiet and peaceful. The service was poor, and there were often no service providers available. The TV was broken, and no one fixed it during the entire stay. Sometimes, staff forgot to replace amenities in the rooms when cleaning.

I guess they only clean when you have checked out otherwise they just touch the bed with the old linens and they don't clean at all. You have to keep on asking for refills and replacements. Amenities need to be updated. They need to maintain the building.

• Sue-ann (4/5): - The lady at reception was helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom neat and clean. The room facilities need a serious upgrade. It's clear that management does not inspect and quality check the rooms. From broken bedroom curtains, torn bathroom curtains, broken/flimsy hangers, broken safe (safe was fixed after 2 days) and more. Room #13 is right above the dining room, which means a lot of noise from 6am, making it impossible to sleep in. The full window sliding doors are also not practical as it does not soundproof properly from other guests.

• ERIC (5/5): Mixed review - The Aircon and TV worked well! The shower head was broken and splashed water all over the bathroom. In the morning I used the bath tub and when my partner came in to bath after me, the hot water was finished.
