• Vikija (6/5): Great location and very helpful, responsive staff. However, overall, I felt that the price was too high for the level of - I really liked the apartment, and the staff were excellent—friendly, helpful, and professional However, the walls were extremely thin, and you could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms and in the corridor, which was especially disturbing at night. The water pressure in the shower was very low, making it difficult to wash my hair properly. The bed was comfortable enough, but the pillow was far too large for my liking, and there was no proper duvet or blanket provided.

Priset är för hög med tanke på rummets kondition. Det var kallt på rummet och uppvärmning inte finkade varken husets eller via värmepump vilken var mycket bullrig.

• Jodi (9/5): Very friendly and accommodating staff, in an excellent location and walking distance of Roma Termini - Breakfast in the courtyard was lovely, and nice to be able to use the courtyard during the day. I liked the honesty system for the (great value) drinks. The staff were extremely helpful with our later than expected arrival time. It was also great to store our bags until our early afternoon train departure. The room was small, but it did have everything we needed.

• Yvonne (9/5): Sehr gute Lage inmitten des schönen Rione Monti - Das Bett war sehr bequem, Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank, für mich als Alleinreisende absolut genug Platz. Das Frühstück wird durch die netten Damen am Morgen vorbereitet und serviert, war sehr gut. Warmwasser und Wasserdruck waren wechselhaft optimal. Ansonsten war ich mit allem zufrieden.

Clean comfy beds with good old fashioned blankets . Change of towels was very welcome. Walkable to The Colosseum area . Close to main railway station and a metro line. The breakfast. Well prepared but very heavy. The room was small, even though it was the triple room for 2 of us. Only one curtain which didn’t cover the window. Sliding door to en-suite not quite wide enough. The reception for Monti Garden was virtually non existent. We had to collect our keys from the restaurant opposite, which was easy but there was no proper welcome. Property run down and definitely could do with an upgrade.

• Bronagh (10/5): Couldn’t have asked for better hosts and a better place to stay for our 3 nights in Rome - Absolutely wonderful staff, very kind and welcoming. Breakfast was 10/10 lots of options, my boyfriend unfortunately was ill the first morning and they allowed me to take a plate of breakfast upstairs to the room for him to have in bed. Wonderful location had everything we needed. Mini fridge full of options for a cheap price. They supplied everything we needed and was always around when we had questions needed. The only minor thing was the shower pressure was slightly poor but apart from that would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Rome looking for a true comforting experience.

• Hasmik (9/5): Superb - Great location with all major tourist attractions nearby, plus close proximity to Termini Station, making it easy to travel anywhere in Italy. The rooms are small but very comfortable. The staff is always cheerful in the morning, and the breakfast is excellent. The rooms are always clean, with daily housekeeping. The only downside is that the reception opens after 8:00 am, so if you plan to check in at night, prior arrangements are necessary.

I got some from the restaurant opposite. No lift and lots of stairs which was difficult for solo elderly woman to get luggage up and down. Perhaps I didn’t notice when booking! Not enough room to open suitcase apart from on the bed. Next time I’ll book a bigger room!

• Pitt (10/5): Great location, lovely staff, comfortable and clean..would recommend! - Great location close to Termini station and close to the Colosseum. We only had to use public transport to get to the airport and otherwise walked everywhere. Great to be able to check in as soon as we arrived from the airport and the option to leave bags after checking out if necessary. Comfortable room and good shower. Also really nice to be able to access the garden to sit and relax for a bit. As a vegan I couldn't appreciate the breakfast as much as non-vegans. I had toast and orange juice and coffee. It looked like a great breakfast for people that eat everything with a mixture of sweet and savoury and the staff were lovely. Coffee and juice refills were offered.
• Aimee (8/5): Very good - Good location- 5 minute walk to the nearest metro, reasonably priced, comfortable beds, fully stocked mini bar, air con included, friendly staff. Breakfast was a set menu provided with very limited options. Wasn’t the easiest to find, no obvious signs.
• Dario (5/5): Good value accommodation, on a great street in a great area in Rome - The breakfast was the highlight, beautiful little terrace with trees, there were 2 ladies there to make you coffee, and get whatever you needed, it was nice to sit and have something before you ventured off in Rome. The room itself was clean, the bedsheets were clean and the bathroom was clean. The room was very minimal, terrible lighting, a bit tight to move around, but that was our room, its possible the other rooms were larger. No safe deposit box

• Iulia (5/5): It was Not as presented - The location was very good and the lady from breakfast was really really nice! The room was not at all like the pictures presented on booking, it was very very small. It also had ants. And one day when we were out ,they asked if fhey can enter the room to paint a little bit the wall under the window. They entered even though we didn't answer. When we came back they painted almost an entire wall opposite from the window, next to the bed and my daughter leaned against it and got fresh paint all over her arm.

They help us schedule the trip for our way back to the airport at 3AM and even prepared us some breakfast packages for the trip. We got the more "basic room". The ones from the photos looked nicer and larger, ours was pretty tiny but worth the money.

Close to the station, metro, Colosseum and Forum Romanum. Hotel is in a quiet street so no sound of traffic at night which guarantees good night sleep. Walking distance from restaurants and bars. Room was too small for three persons. Two persons would be max.

The sandwiches and sweets were served to our table and you can't possibly be hungry afterwards. The coffee was free all day which was a big plus. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

• Martin (8/5): Nice and quiet stay! - Located close "Termini" station so lot of public transport (and taxi) alternatives. The accommodation is really good, quiet and comfortable. The staff is nice and willing to help. There is a nice garden where you can get your breakfast or just chill, specially with good weather. In the neighborhood there are a lot of alternatives to eat and buy groceries or gifts.

• Joanne (5/5): We enjoyed our visit to Rome. Not sure I would book Monti garden again for above reasons. - Good sized bed. Good location. We were without hot water for 2 days so had to have cold showers and boiled the kettle so my husband could have a shave. We asked if a taxi to the airport could be arranged and were given a number to phone half an hour before we required it. There is a poster in the bedroom advertising the fact that an airport transfer can be arranged. No safe in room.

• Anonymous (10/5): perfect accommodations, host and location - everything was above expectations! Michele was the most gracious and accommodating host! breakfast in the cafe was quaint and delicious in beautiful setting. We will stay at Monte Gardens when we return to Rome !

• K. (4/5): We only had very short time in Rome, and I booked this place because of all the good ratings, but I was dissapointed. - Good location. Quite dissapointing compared to the photos. Room was much smaller than expected. Breakfast one day was delayed and due to lack of personel only coffee, juice and croissant was served. The bathroom was quite worn down. Nowhere to hang towels, as the hooks fell out of the walls. The shower was difficult to adjust, and at some points the water just stopped. The walls around the beds were stained. One night there was a party outside with music, screeming and shouting wich made it impossible to get any sleep before long after midnight.
