Guest Reviews

- Keta (1/5): Too expancive for the property - people nice its a way far from center, u have to go upstair and get thought to some other people's home (no privecy).
it costs a much and the value is not suitable for the price.

- Viktória (10/5): Kedves a szállásadó, rugalmas. Segitőkész, szállas kénylemes volt és jó. - Tisztaság
- Daniel (6/5): - Good air con, owner was friendly and open. Helpful when things weren’t quite right Low roof meant no standing when showering and there was no pool.
- Mohamed (8/5): Very good - It was a nice experience. Mr. Alessandro is a friendly person too.
- Mohammed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Emad (10/5): Exceptional - It’s very good I like it
- Borislav (8/5): Very good - Comfortable accommodation, friendly and helpful owner. Neat and clean.
- Aris (7/5): Good -
- Amar (1/5): Bad -
- Ali (4/5): The advertisement for the property rental is misleading on booking.com. - The property owner is nice. You are restricted to just the bed room with a small tiny bathroom. The room is small with a king size bed. No room to move around. Far away from anything. Uber is really expensive. When you search the distance to your destination it is incorrect. When we tried to cancel the owner refused even though this was a visit for medical reasons. Booking.com didn’t even take any responsibility for the misleading information.
- Ian (7/5): A reasonably-priced base from which to explore Rome. - Although this is a homestay, the accommodation is, effectively, the top floor of the house, so although the private bathroom (which features a bath as well as a shower) is across the corridor from the bedroom, there is still a degree of privacy, as nobody has any reason to use that floor. The room has air-conditioning and heating. Although a way out from the city centre (which is reflected in the price), there is frequent transport by bus or the regional train service from the nearby station. There is a roof terrace which, as a smoker, I found very useful. Although the property is shown on Google Maps, I found an external door on arrival and did not know which buzzer to press, so had to call to confirm (I did get an immediate response). The room itself has very low rafters, which means that over half the room is, effectively, inaccessible. The bed is not the most comfortable. There is no curtain for the shower (the bathroom also has low rafters) which makes it difficult to shower without the water soaking the floor.
One of the advertised attractions was use of the shared kitchen, however (and this a personal thing, I suffer with anxiety issues) I found the hosts' conversations (which I could hear from the room) a little lively, so was too intimidated to go down to use it.
- Julian (9/5): Superb - Alessandro and his wife were really nice, we shared some time with them and really enjoyed our stay with them, they are the type of people that are willing to go the extra mile to help and assist you. If your plan by going to Rome is Downtown this is not that close to it(to walk to and from) However, there are buses and trains you can take to get to the Historic area in Rome from this property.
- Safaa (7/5): All in all, Nice studio. - The studio is big enough for 4 people. The host is nice and listened to our complaints. The AC was leaking, and the address on booking is not the one we stayed in.
- Waqas (5/5): The place was nice and the owner was amazing but the location wasn’t good and too far of the city - The owner was nice and kind Too far of the city and hard to mange public transportation.
- Emma (3/5): False advertising - I liked the modern, clean shared kitchen. The bath with its jets was good too. The place is impossible to find without ringing the owner. It is not sign posted at all and when we arrived it looked like a building site. So many services are offered such as massage, heated pools, treatments, bike hire, airport transfer, all of which were unavailable because the owner was on holiday. But there was no swimming pool and we couldn’t see any bikes so I don’t think these services even exist. There’s no reception so you arrive and you’re given instructions for your room via WhatsApp. We were in the attic which is boiling, luckily there was AC, but the roof is so low that most people will bang their heads. The jacuzzi offered was not clean, and the owner offered to come clean it but never showed up. The bath is good but if you want a shower you can’t stand up because of the ceilings. Overall you’re paying for something and the idea of a service, none of which are real.
- Brandon (10/5): We booked this as a last minute thing due to our previously booked accommodation going wrong. The couple were lovely and - The hosts were lovely, kind and welcoming. The bed was super comfy! It was all lovely.
- Cervantes (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sierra (10/5): The hosters were very kind, we spent some time and it was very cool, I recommend the place! -
- Sages (6/5): Pleasant - Great AC, and very comfortable bed. Biggest issue is that the Train Station nearby is completely abandoned, so there’s no way to get into the main part of the city unless you’re renting a car or willing to spend over an hour hopping from bus to metro to bus.
The address listed on here is incorrect, it’s about a block away from here.
The bathroom door lock worked the first night and then just didn’t work anymore? It was jammed or something.
Had an issue with the front door key, which luckily wasn’t an issue afterwards, but ended up having to wake up another person to let me in.
- Niamh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Volodymyr (3/5): Poor - Clean and well-kept house;
good kitchen;
bath with massage First of all, it is annoying that the owner does not indicate the price for the kitchen that must be paid in the description of the housing or includes it already in the price of the apartment, which would be logical, but does it in the description about himself. I assume this is done on purpose. The upper floor where you have to spend the night is very small. You will often hit your head against the ceiling if you are not 150 cm
- Helina (10/5): Exceptional - I reccomend. We was very happy with everything. Nice people. Helped us with everything
- Justin (1/5): Avoid at all costs! - Absolutely nothing Broken shower head, three out of four stove burners didn’t work, kitchen wasn’t equipped as described, hosts left laundry in washer and drying on rack, entry door knob broken, crappy area, amenities are for an entire building of about 100 units, hosts didn’t meet at arrival, location wasn’t were is said on booking.com, hosts weren’t cooperative when we spoke about problems and wanted to change booking. They are over priced, only doing this to rip off tourists. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
- Amy (5/5): Based on the description I thought I was staying at a fancy apartment. In reality it was the upstairs of a couple's - It was clean and there were shops and restaurants close by. Owners present, an hour from main attractions by transit, inaccurate description.
- Klaudia (8/5): Very good - The room is ok, and clean. Little bit smaller than i imaged but it was not a probleme for us. Alexandro was kind. I was choosing by price and that seem the train connection near but we never moved by train. It looked easier by bus but it took time.
- Egert (2/5): Do not recommend - Nice and big private terrace/balcony. Private bathroom. Very good local pizza place right across the street. There was a train station nearby that you could reach by foot. The pictures and information about this place on booking are totally misleading. There is no pool nor did the host tell us anything about the free bicycles. The kitchen costs 7€ per use. There were no bath robes nor slippers in the bathroom as was promised in the description. On the ameneties section it says there is an indoor swimming pool, spa, fitness center and a bar, but there were no such things. There is a picture of a fireplace which is just in the hosts living room. To enter your own private room you have to walk upstairs through the hosts living room. The ceiling is really low in your room/bathroom due to it being an attic. Showering is a hassle and had to be done standing on my knees. There was also only 1 roll of toilet paper provided. Due to the hosts living room being right under your room you hear everything that is going on downstairs like the host having a family gathering there at 10PM and so on. One night we could hear a woman scream and shout extremely loudly in the living room. We were so scared that for our safety we ended up calling the police (who took 2 hours to arrive). Turns out the host and his partner were fighting. Would not recommend getting the airport transport from the host. He wanted 65€(which is about the average taxi price) but he was speeding what looked to be 140km/h down the highway in rain.
- Roselinda (2/5): Never again - N/A The room ceiling was from 5 ft to 2 ft tall. Stair to climb up had no rails. Walk next to wall from staircase to make sure you did not fall. Bathroom had a jet tub, difficult to get in and out. Due to the ceiling leave. Sadly, to say my phone died, due to the outlet did not fit on my cell phone. Address was not listed on the GPS, the taxi, was unable to find place. Had to call for direction. Had to walk upstairs around the wall corner to our room.
- Ruby (6/5): Pleasant - Ale and his partner were very nice, the aircon was great, the bed was comfortable and the private bathroom was also a bonus. The balcony would also have been a nice place to relax in the evenings but there were lots of mosquitos when we were there so we stayed inside. We booked this apartment because the description on booking.com said it had a shared kitchen, when we arrived we found out it'd cost us 5 euro each time we'd like to use the kitchen, which would have been at least an extra 25-30 euro if not more which had we known beforehand we could've factored into our very tight budget. They did let us use the fridge for free so we could store salad items instead of cooking. In an effort to save money we caught the buses/metro into the city instead of the very convenient regional train line service but that did mean it took us around an hour each way to get in and out of the city. As other guests have mentioned it is an attic and travelling with a 6ft4 partner it was difficult to not bump your head multiple times a day (even I bumped my head if I forgot to look out for the beams and I'm 5ft7).
- Felicity (10/5): A lovely stay - We enjoyed having the privacy of the upstairs to ourselves. There was an air-conditioner in the room which was fantastic as it did get hot. We were so grateful that we could also do a load of washing.
It was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Check in what slightly confusing as we didn't get given a street number so we didn't actually know where we were going but the host was good at replying to messages.
- Thyra (7/5): Good - Modern furnitures !
Well coming host.
There is good opportunities to use the jacuzzi, which is 5€/day. With a car, it’s hard to find a good and safe parking around the area.
It’s mentioned in the description but it’s a roof apartment. It’s really small.
The apartment is inside the host’s living space, which can be uncomfortable.
- Alanah (3/5): Would not go there again as they inaccurately described what is included in the stay. - The location was convenient and we were picked up from the bus station from hosts for a decent cost. Booking claimed to include a private pool and kitchen when the hosts never showed us any pool as well as told us to be in our bedroom with no access to the kitchen other than keeping our things on one fridge shelf.
- Itaranik (5/5): For 2-3 days or as a base for trips to other cities. Termini or Tiburtina half an hour by train - The price is the only reason you can put up with living in this place. Especially if you're over 1.5m tall. Alessandro is a really friendly person, but that's about it. Wi-Fi is good. Finally, in just 30 minutes you are in the center of a great city! This place is only for one. Because hitting your head on a beam is not romantic at all. There is no soundproofing. No one warned that you need to buy shower gel yourself. And when was the tax raised? I paid 63 euros, instead of 31.5, which were in the original invoice
- Milstead (5/5): Passable - It’s a good value They advertise a jacuzzi but it wasn’t in operation. They asked us to pay the city tax but then never gave us our change from the transaction. There wasn’t enough toilet paper and there were no backups.
- Penyo (7/5): Good -
- Montecinos (7/5): Good -
- Swapnil (10/5): Exceptional -
