• Venitha (8/5): Beautiful room in perfect location. Lots of stairs! - Location is awesome! Very short distance from the train station and right on a canal. Easy walk to restaurants and things to do. Easy to catch tram, train. Beautiful room! Very comfortable and clean. Just beware that this room is on the third floor at the top of a long narrow spiral staircase. If stairs are a problem or if you have large suitcases, this may not be for you. We were disappointed with the lack of communication with the host. We had wanted to leave luggage for the day after our checkout, and the host just completely ghosted us.

• Claire (10/5): Perfect - Perfect location, very clean & comfortable. LOVED the extra space. Nice and quiet! Definitely staying here again without a doubt. There is absolutely no sign anywhere. It looks like someone’s house. The only way you will find it is to look for number 38.

• hsfalsharif (9/5): Lovely place in the heart of Amsterdam! - Really nice place located right in the center of Amsterdam. Amsterdam Centraal is a few min walk away. The place was clean and comfortable. Everything was great and nothing to complain about. Nothing major that comes to mind honestly.

La habitación, estaba muy bien, era el ático y tenía el tamaño perfecto y todo lo necesario La ventana del baño no cerraba del todo bien, por lo que se quedaba un poco frío, la cama era un poco blanda para mi gusto, pero esto es algo personal. En general estuvimos muy cómodos y nos encantó

• Monica (8/5): Confortável e seguro em localização excelente. - A localização é excelente, permitindo chegar a pé na maioria das atrações de Amsterdam. O quarto é confortável, em local seguro. Tem uma minicozinha com geladeira, talheres e louça e até lava-louças, mas sem fogão e sem microondas. Devido a alguma regulamentação municipal, o estúdio não podia ter fogão, frustrando nossos planos de preparar algumas refeições no apartamento. Se houvesse um microondas já ajudaria muito. Isso não está muito claro no anúncio.

• Florian (1/5): Absolute Frechheit und Enttäuschung - Die Lage war super, Check-In und Check-Out war unkompliziert. Während unseres Aufenthalts war direkt über unserem Zimmer eine Baustelle für die gesamte Zeit unseres Aufenthalts. Dies wurde uns jedoch mit keinem Wort im Vorfeld kommuniziert. Der Lärm war aufgrund der sehr dünnen Wände extrem laut und fühlte sich so an, als würde direkt auf unsere Zimmertür gehämmert werden. Weiters waren die Leitungen in der Dusche verstopft und die Wände hatten Flecken von zerdrückten Mücken. Am Tag vor der letzten Nacht wurde unser Zimmer nicht mehr geputzt - ohne Angabe von Gründen. Auf meine Nachricht kam keine Antwort mehr. Allgemein war es eine Frechheit, die Gastgeber haben sich gefühlt von jeder Art an Unterhaltsarbeiten der letzten Jahre und regelmässigen Säuberungen gedrückt und wollen so viel Geld zum kleinsten Aufwand aus den Touristen rauspressen.

A small fridge, espresso machine, cups and glasses. Lots of space to unpack clothing into such a large wardrobe and drawers and three chairs in the bedroom. Plenty of hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and toilet paper. Clean towels wash day too Nothing

• Francisco Glez. (9/5): Excelente - Su localización y al mismo tiempo tranquilidad. Zona centro al lado de la estación Muy útil y cómoda para hacer viajes cortos usando Amsterdam como punto de referencia. Nos sorprendió un poco que hay una muebles instalados pero no hay microondas ni cocina, por lo que no se puede cocinar ni calentar nada en la vivienda excepto una cafetera. El resto muy bien. Hay que prever que no se puede cocinar.

• Julia (10/5): We would happily stay here again - Great location in central city, we walked everywhere, most attractions are w/in 1.3 miles. It’s a ‘vintage’ walk-up building, elegant and beautifully maintained… 3 flights up a skinny spiral sits to a comfortable converted attic.

It was a perfect spot for a working holiday. Sometimes I had the enter the door code 2 or 3 times in order to get into the building. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

• Jacob (10/5): Awesome place to enjoy Amsterdam! - The location was perfect. We even came a couple hours early to leave our bags and the room was ready for us so we went straight in! What a bonus!!! Obviously this depends on the situation, but we were very thankful. The only thing to be aware of is there is no elevator and the stairs are very steep. So if you have trouble with things like that keep it in mind. Otherwise, we highly recommend!

• Faith (9/5): Great location in elegant house in the city of canals. - The studio apartment was part of an elegant house on a quiet canalside on the western canal ring and within very easy reach of Amsterdam Central station. A very well appointed studio apartment: sitting area, kitchen corner, bedroom, modern bathroom - no frills, but has everything you need - and an exquisitely comfortable bed! Nice views into the garden too. Owner was helpful in letting me in when the key code business failed when I arrived, and was happy to lend me a phone charger too. In general a very positive experience, though the stairs up to the second floor are rather narrow and difficult to negotiate with a suitcase. A bit on the pricey side for my budget - but I guess that’s Amsterdam for you!

• Dimitrios (8/5): Very good - Spatious and clean room, good location close to city center, cafes, bars, restaurants and also to the Central Station. Nice and kind hosts! No central heating, only a small electric heater available. Lots and steep stairs to the room (we were on the highest floor).

• Jade (10/5): Amazing apartment in Amsterdam - This apartment was such perfect location, so close to Grand Central and all of the shops and restaurants you could want. The room was so comfortable and clean, we had a wonderful sleep each night. Our host was so kind and allowed us to keep our bags in the room until our flight on the last day of our trip so we wouldn't have to carry them around Amsterdam. We would recommend this property to anyone travelling to Amsterdam! We were on the top floor of 4 flights of windy stairs! This was no problem for us as a young couple but something to keep in mind if you struggle on your feet!

The other residents in the complex were very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was a bit dirty — smudges on the walls, dust on the bed, and the towels had stains/marks. It felt like the room hadn't been cleaned in a while. The smell of cigarettes kept emanating from the kitchen sink.

• Josefalbarrann (6/5): Avoid if you are not young, strong and with light luggage. - Room had all that was necessary, recent. Accesibilty very poor. Difficult stairs. No elevator. Very cumbersome to move the luggage. Neighborhood was dark and people looked dangerous. We had paid two nights, but we moved after the first night to a safer and more confortable location. There is no front desk or anybody to help. You enter the premises with a code.
