Location is good. - The location is excellent Near Fourways Mall and Montecasino. no gate intercom, no remote supplied to guest. the fittings are falling apart. rooms aren't ready for occupants. room 6 had a leaking ceiling. I was moved the following day to Room 3. It had a window in the bathroom that didn't fully close, hair blocking the shower drain.

• Bloem (2/5): Would not recommend this guest house to anyone - Location and Free Wifi Our stay at the guest house was extremely disappointing. The place was dirty, with hair in the shower and bed, a filthy bathroom door, and a smelly room. The pool was unclean, and the amenities were poor — no milk for tea, only a small piece of used soap, and old lotion in a reused bottle. There was no breakfast, no proper contact information, and no welcoming on arrival. Overall, the experience was completely different from what was advertised online.

• de Jager (1/5): Worst experience ever - None Would not recommend kingfisher resort. The room was dirty and had spider nests everywhere.There was a big nest right above the bath in the corner we even took pictures.The closet doors had broken handles and some where missing. We found bugs inside the bed and the bed itself was bent and old. The only thing that was clean was the moped floor. You can see everything is neglected and not maintained or cleaned the way it should be. We left and went back home the same day we arrived.

Very close to Montecasino The lady who received me was not nice. - The bathroom window does not close - Aircon leaks_water was on the floor and almost fell - Room is not serviced. No cleaning, it will be as you left it. Such an inconvenience to still find flooded floor in my room. - Found an empty bottle of ice tropez in the wardrobe - Floors were sticky - Spiderwebs everywhere and spiders. - Inside of fridge had grease stains - No gate key provided, you have to call the employee everytime you go out and come back. -Needed an early check out because I got sick and wanted to travel home but please note those considerations are not there. No refund. - Pool was green Place really needs maintenance.

• Hassan (1/5): Did not happen as it seemed suspicious and dangerous - Before checking in I was told to rush or they’ll give the booking to someone else. The representative also stated that they are only accepting cash which was an added inconvenience then to top it off I was given a deadline to check in or I lose the room.

• Chetty (3/5): - The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The receptionist was not friendly and took over 6 minutes to open the gate. Not safe to wait outside especially if you took an Uber there. The T.V had no remote. There was no soap or hand sanitizer. The cupboard was on bricks and badly damaged. Extension cord wiring was hanging from the wall which was a fire hazard. The walls were extremely thin and you could hear people talking and swimming as if they were in the same room. I cannot recommend a place that I will not go back to even if I was desperate.

A microwave in the room would have been good, a better shower head, no bathing soap, no private remove to control your own entering and leaving and drinks are too expensive.

• Ms. (1/5): Bad - Room in really bad condition Shower door broken, toilet broken, cup boards broken, wifi connection dropping, Netflix was not working, missing bed side table and not enough plugs. Bed was worn through and need to be replaced.

• Anne (3/5): THE WORST - Portia was polite and tried to mediate a very unfortunate situation. This place is awfully run-down with ants crawling everywhere in the bathroom and bedroom. The furniture in the foyer terribly dirty to the point of afraid to sit on any of the chairs. The desk in the bedroom had the top peeling off in the corners. The bed wasn't uncomfortable,but the linen is badly worn out, with stains and holes. The swimming pool is filthy dirty, left unattended for seven days. Every day I was given the excuse that the pool company would fix it the following day. THE INCONCEIVABLE HAPPENED IN THAT ONE OF MY EARRINGS DISAPPEARED FROM THE TOP OF THE DESK. ONE EARRING ONLY, AS I GUESS THE PRRSON MUST HAVE THOUGHT THAT THE EARRINGS WERE DUAMONDS. FORTUNATELY FOR ME, I DIDN'T TRAVEL TO SOUTH AFRICA WITH DIAMONDS. IT'S JUST A SIMPLE CRYSTAL. THE PERSON WHO STOLE THE EARRING OBVIOUSLY THOUGHT THAT SELLING JUST ONE DIAMOND EARRING WOULD GIVE HER PLENTY OF MONEY. AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACEFUL BEHAVIOUR. I TREATED THE STAFF WITH RESPECT, AND WENT OUT OF MY WAY TO BUY THEM LUNCH. I ALSO GAVE CASH R350 TO PAIGE AS A THANK YOU. THIS. OBVIOUSLY, BEFORE THE EARRING WAS STOLEN. I AM REPORTING IT TO THE POLICE. NOT FOR THE VALUE, BUT FOR THE PRINCIPLE. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING PEOPLE. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

• Johnybravo (6/5): Place very convenient and close to Montecasino,but cleanliness not great, even the kitchen looked so dirty.lack of resp - Closer to monte casino There is a Nigerian male who drives a maroon /Red Range Rover who is part of management, he really made my partner uncomfortable when I was away just for few minutes. It’s not far fetched to assume he makes women uncomfortable when they are alone. Very bad behaviour from management. On arrival the place wasn’t so clean. And the pool is so dirty.

• Ukho (6/5): Kingfisher stay - I LOVED the air conditioning in the room, the bar fridge, the green lighting, the sheets were clean, the room service was excellent. Everything about the room was perfect. The staff was also excellent. The uploaded pictures of the outside are a total catfish. The pool was green which was annoying because we really wanted to swim. The couches and tables that are outside on the pictures were not there when we arrived which broke my heart because that is where we wanted to spend a lot of our time. Other than that everything was fine.
• Thembel (3/5): My stay could have been better. - I was given a room with an air conditioner that doesn’t work,the bathroom’s stacking door was broken and basically fell when I attempted to close it when using the bathroom for the first time. The shower door is not on its hinges at the bottom and needed careful handling.The room didn’t have a dustbin. I booked a room for two people but was given a room for one which was too small,only had one towel and when we asked for a second one,it was never provided to us.
• Fredericks (1/5): Horrible. - Nothing . I liked nothing. However, the lady / guy kindly shared their plug with me and I ma grateful for that but everything else was barely a standard. I am shocked, Everything , Shower handle was broken , kept falling off. The room was not swept properly. Dead ants and webs everywhere. Upon arrival , staff was not ready to receive us , bare in mind , I arrived long after my check in time. Definitely not what was advertised. My friend and I were so uncomfortable that we opted to sit up and chat all night instead of sleeping because we were so uncomfortable with the cleanliness. We couldn't wait for morning and catch my flight. Not worth what I paid,

• Smith (3/5): Poor - The location was good We came to a dirty room, not made up, no towels, breakfast was arranged for 08h30 ended up leaving at 09h15 and we're told that breakfast was only being prepared at 09h15. The booking confirmation said we would be supplied with soap, towels, condiments etc. Nothing was supplied.
