• Christian (10/5): Stop thinking. Book this. Right now. You won't be disappointed. - Do you know the feeling of coming home? Well, this is not your home. But this host is amazing. We felt more than very welcome from the very first minute. She is such a sweet potato. The rooms are totally clean, very well equipped, very good beds. The breakfast is perfect. And the best thing is, you can get it whenever you want. The time for that is negotiable. Five star rating just for this. A supermarket, liquor-store and a pretty good restaurant are located in walking distance. During daylight it is safe to go there by foot. After sunset take an Uber. Well, even it is Sandton, it is still Jo'burg. Be careful. A very nice shopping-center is about 3 kilometers to go. But from the deepest of my heart I can only recommend this guesthouse. The next time we have a stopover at JNB, we will go there again. For sure. Nothing that has a relation to this guesthouse. There is a general safety issue in Jo'burg. Take it or leave it. Capetown is a very different story.

A choice of places to sit out next to the large pool and enjoy the South African sunshine. Excellent breakfast, with fresh fruit salad and a full breakfast made to order for each guest. Zodwa and all staff were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay at Claire’s of Sandton. Highly recommended. Nothing.

Zodwa was an excellent hostess and feed me well with her scrumptious cooked breakfast. The bowl of fruit every morning consisted of a variety of fresh fruit. The location was central to all amenities. Owners need to do maintenance and TLC.

Our hostess Zodwa made sure that we felt comfortable during our stay and provided a fantastic breakfast every morning. She also pointed us to the nearby restaurant at walking distance where both the food and staff were excellent as well. On top of all our driver Bekhi who drove us from and to the airport also guided us a full day throughout Johannesburg with all it's highlights. There was times when the power went off due to load shedding but it wasn’t for long periods. Would be good if the room could have an iron and ironing board.

The breakfasts were excellent and we could have ordered anything we wanted. Just small matters eg the lights in the bedroom were not always easy to switch on and off. The tap water in our bedroom tasted a little strange.

I have stayed there numerous times in the past but the deterioration is now noticeable. Broken blinds, stained bedding, broken toilet lid, broken but patched door, cracked tiles, loose handles.

Breakfast was very good I had changed my checkout time which was approved, only to be told we needed to leave by 10am, I wasn't too happy cause I was not prepared. The remote did not work properly and channels on the TV need to be upgraded
