• Klein (5/5): Unhappy with service as couldn't sleep due to atmosphere/and ppl calling my name from outside. - The last night was,terrible. As it caused a lot of friction,with me,as to cost with out a discount staying her from/Since day of first booked in,as to asking for a month stay,as to issues at my home,as my Frisco coffee went missing as well,that bought Friday,and also I can see not many ppl book here,as to place being bosmont.meaning I could of get a discount/deduction on stay for the month,but as ro cost,and pocket size,I cant afford another nite here,but knowing no one else,is.booking themselves her for a long period of time,owner could of at lest charged me R4500 for the month,as this place doesn't. See,get guess ,only now and again,wich means it would still of benefit owner with regards to room. As this place is close to Westbury/Newclare we're by cost and stay should be cheaper,it's like going to hillbrow and paying EXRA ORDINARY price to stay, for a place that lost value and dangerous on account if what happen to me here some weeks ago. By community policing.wich I feel are cowards and have a lot ro say as they are more than one,but many individuals. I can't say anything about that,as to like is to want to be in area,as I don't,I just needed an emergency go to place as to what's happening to me in my so called life and as been cowarded by all,including police service,private companies,and government services,and individuals in community.

• Idris (3/5): - I liked that even the actual room that I booked wasn't available when I got there, I was given another one which.was not the same. The room booked was not available. No single table to place a laptop or food on. The other occupant/in-house tenant was rude, cooking all midnight. No hand washing soap. The walls "isn't make sure" The flushing in the toilet needs plumbing fixing. The Genius badge was a trick to book into such a poorly maintained lodge.

• Nadeem (4/5): Disappointing - We liked the privacy , but the place had some mold on sealing and you could physically see I was not cleaned and had a smell when you just walked in unfortunately the place was already booked so I could not make any changes , and the kitchen could definately need renovation and the fridge was not clean was worried about putting anything in the fridge other than that it was private not too much disturbances and friendly staff but more cleanliness required .. the place would have been alot more different if it smelled well and looked clean , completely clean

• M.underwood (1/5): REMOVE THIS LISTING- FALSE ADVERTISING - Our experience at this property was extremely disappointing, and we strongly believe it should be removed from Booking.com. Having relied on the positive reviews on the platform, we found the listing to be highly misleading and falsely advertised. From the moment we arrived, we encountered multiple issues that made our stay unbearable. The property had a strong odor of mold, and the room was situated directly next to a noisy highway, making it impossible to get any rest. The bedding had an unpleasant smell, and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were in an unacceptable state of cleanliness. The shower floor, in particular, was filthy and even had cigarette ash scattered across it. Due to these conditions, we left after just one night, as the property was simply not livable. We strongly urge potential guests to reconsider booking this accommodation and recommend that Booking.com reevaluate its listing.
• Zondo (3/5): Poor - The staff took them 15mins to open the gate yet l have called them 3 times and they kept saying we're coming. My room wasn't ready l had to wait for another 30 to 45mins for them to get the room ready. In the morning the electricity went off and no one or any messages for apology was seen. We asked for a extra warm blanket and we never given , however on our request we were promised to be given. Wifi and hot water was good although the showers weren't 100% clean.

Having a fully equipped shared kitchen with teabags and sugar provided was a plus for me. Nothing to complain about the guest house but just a note to other guests,if you are looking for peace and quiet,know that this property is next to a highway so you will hear vehicles and a honk or two.
