• Emmanuelle (8/5): - I think the guest house has one of the best location to visit Berat and very nice too. The room was exactly as described. The owner was very flexible about our late arrival at almost 21h00 (9:00 pm) Guesthouse was perfect to my mind. I just think for French people, the owner, wanting to be helpful, is a little too present on your WhatsApp (sending 40 photos/videos of Berat at 22h00 (10:00 pm), maybe 3 photos is ok)
• Maarten (9/5): Faleminderit Tomor - Tomor is een super lieve, hartelijke man. De kamer met badkamer is klein maar in orde en uitstekend gelegen. Zo lang de restaurants geopend zijn is er ietwat geluidshinder maar wanneer je alles gesloten houdt is dit beperkt en na 12u is het er erg stil. Geen geluidshinder gehad van de moskee vlakbij. Er is een klein terrasje vooraan de kamer waar we even konden ontsnappen aan de middag hitte. Het traditionele ontbijt (€5) was lekker en erg veel, we werden aangemoedigd om alles mee te nemen. Nadien kregen we nog verschillende foto's en filmpjes doorgestuurd van de liefste gastheer die duidelijk erg trots is op zijn stad. De badkamer is compact en tijdens het douchen maak je deze wel helemaal nat. Parkeren is niet evident.

• yuval (10/5): - Tomor and his wife were the best hosts I’ve ever had in any guesthouse I’ve ever been to. Period. We’ve experienced great hospitality and great breakfast. He welcomed us with a great smile and lots of love, helped us every day to get a close parking spot, literally standing in an empty spots nearby! There’s a mosque really close, but we heard it only once a day on the afternoon, and it didn’t make any sound in the morning. Don’t worry about it! Moreover, Tomor sent us a lot of explanations about the city’s history and leisure activities. Highly recommended!! • Niek (10/5): Exceptional - Starting with the location, it is perfectly in the center of Berat, between the old town and the newer area. The host was waiting for us and helped out with parking. The room itself was very clean and typical for an Albanian guesthouse, so perfect if you want to explore this beautiful city. The host is super enthusiastic about recommending where to go and telling you about the city, which made us ever more enthusiastic about exploring ourselves! The breakfast was also excellent! You don't have to worry about leaving with an empty stomach :D We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend anyone to stay the night if they want to explore Berat!

If you want to stay in a place that is boutique amd looks the same the world over- - Very characterful property right in the heart of the old walls but extremely peaceful and quiet at the same time. There is a small mosque opposite so you have to be prepared for the call to prayer in early morning but it wasn’t too noisy, more of a gentle lull and very atmospheric. We felt it added to our stay. Tomor the owner was absolutely lovely. Helpful and informative, but respectful of our need for privacy also. Our room was at the front and we had breakfast laid out for us right outside. The breakfast is highly recommended. We didn’t eat all the homemade cake but were encouraged to take it with us. Wonderful stay. We take many memories with us. Would definitely stay here again. Good location, at the bottom of the castle hill, close to restaurants and shops, but in a little side street and quiet. Simple guesthouse, a few hooks or shelves would have been nice.

• Nick (10/5): Perfect location for people exploring Berat! - The guest house is in the heart of Berat, right near the Ura e Varur bridge! The owner is the sweetest man who made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable in Berat and was very knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast is delicious, especially the home made jam! Very little! The guest house is great for the budget and will suit people who spend their time exploring rather than chilling in Theo hotel room. The beds are comfortable and the shower is great!

You walk a few steps, and you are on a busy street, the mosque is shielding you, you hear nothing and feel you are somewhere in a quiet place. Tomor gave us many recommendations on where to go and what to see in the city. I enjoyed staying in Tomor's accommodation and recommend it to everyone who wants to experience the great atmosphere of the place.

• Gc_cbw (10/5): Exceptional - Such a great host! The room was very clean, private nice bathroom. 2 mins walk to the main street with pubs and restaurants. 2 mins walk to the supermarket. Breakfast (egg, muffins, cucumber, tomato, pancakes, tea, coffee and fruit) was so plentiful and so great - and was served whenever we requested. We were even able to take some muffins or fruit with us on our days out because there was so much food. Beds were comfortable. There was a tap in the garden for drinkable water which was lovely. The property is right behind the mosque but the call to prayer does not sound when you're sleeping. As we left we wished we could be stayed more days!! Thanks so much for a great stay Whole bathroom is a wet area but that is to be expected in Albania. There can be a bit of noise from town on a Friday/Saturday night until midnight, but I assume this can be heard through the whole valley!
