• Chantal (8/5): Bonne expérience ! - Nous avons eu un excellent accueil de la part de Freddy : à l'écoute, disponible, nous donnant tous les renseignements dont nous avons eu besoin. Il nous a fait confiance. La maison est atypique, la cour doit être très agréable au beau temps pour y prendre son petit-déjeuner qui est d'ailleurs très complet. Merci pour cet accueil ! Peut-être une bouilloire dans la chambre pour prendre une boisson chaude le soir.

• Vasco (9/5): Beautiful choice of a place - Amazing experience! From the host being such a nice and kind person, to the lovely breakfast, and the amazing decoration in the rooms and in the house. This is the kind of experience I enjoy when I am traveling somewhere! There is plenty of free parking on the street, and even a few tables and chairs on the back of the house where you can enjoy the view of the 30+ year old goose and a couple of deers :)
• Esther (4/5): Voldeed niet aan de verwachtingen die we naar aanleiding van de foto's en recensies hadden. - Het ontbijt was goed. Erg vriendelijke gastheer die koffie schonk en zorgde dat alles voor ons klaar stond. Genoeg keuze ook. Bedden waren goed, lagen erg lekker. Bij het inchecken troffen we een ander iemand dan de latere zeer vriendelijke gastheer. De incheck verliep wat vreemd en we hadden er geen fijn gevoel bij. De kamer was wat gedateerd en heel basis (dat wisten we). Terras niet goed onderhouden en oogde rommelig. We gingen voor nostalgisch en kneuterig, laten we zeggen dat het niet was wat we hadden verwacht. Deze accomodatie is wellicht voor een ander soort publiek geschikter.
• Kerstin (8/5): - Eine gemütliche Unterkunft mit sehr nettem Gastgeber. Ein guter Ort für Ausflüge und ein kurzes Wochenende. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

• N. (7/5): - Friendly staff. Flexible and willing to work out solutions. Bed was good. Attending a convention it served our needs but I can imagine that if you send more time in the room it may lack some convenience. The facilities are somewhat outdated. It is old, which gives it some character, but at the same time there is obviously some maintenance. Tap only had cold water. No television or radio available. Would have appreciated some bins in the room.

• Seok (10/5): Exceptional - The host Freddy was super helpful, went all out to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was good. Especially like the view of the open space nature from our room. Great location for walkers and cyclists. Free parking.
• Vinodhl (7/5): Disappointing and a safety hazard - The gentleman at the breakfast was friendly and attentive, but once he found out we were dutch, he started talking behind our backs in French to his colleague... Next to our room there was a field with deer and geese. The room smelled musty and was very hot, but the window wouldn't open, as far as we could see. Bathroom had black mold on the wall and ceiling. Bathroom wasn't cleaned by the time we arrived (after check in time) One of the lamps in the room was only hanging by some wires. One of the outlets near the bed came out when I removed my phone charger! How dangerous is that?! Locking the room was difficult because the door had some weird system where we had to lift the handle before locking. But we also had to pull the door to close, but since the handle plopped out, that was quite a challenge to do. The hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so don't expect to be able to walk to a supermarket or restaurant.
• Peterjan (8/5): Very good - Nice ,cosy and clean, good choice of breakfast and a lovely back garden to sit and watch the deer parade before you.
• Rebecca (8/5): Nice stay - Parking, quiet location despite next to the road, breakfast was good, easy check in, very friendly host. Had everything you need. Thin walls, hence a little noisy late night. But wasn't an issue in the night.
• Oana (9/5): Very good - Nice location, did a walk reccomend by Johan. The place is clean and quiet. Very nice and helpful owner. Was very kind to arrange for me to have breakfast 30 minutes earlier.

• Gary (9/5): Great for a short trip to Flanders. Host really helpful. Well done Freddy - Easy to find, not far from all the activities in Oudenaarde. Excellent restaurant just up the road. The breakfast was superb, all in all I would definitely stay again Nothing really. Freddy couldn’t have been a more helpful host.

• Andrew (10/5): Great place with fantastic hosts. - Everything. Freddy and Kalid were fantastic hosts to a somewhat boisterous group of 19 people. They were accommodating, welcoming and friendly and the place itself was perfect. Loads of shared space, great views, a collection of deers, a goose and some great beer - what’s not to like. The rooms were really comfortable, food great, relaxed and I know we’ll be back.

Host spoke good English and was very helpful in every way. Great bike storage with plenty room to carry out repairs. Car parking on street only.
