• Gaz (7/5): Basic but clean - Clean, tidy, basic amenities but somewhere warm and comfy to rest your head and get showered. The pictures on the site are not like the rooms, for instance I had 2 small shampoo bottles, a shower cap and no toilet roll. The fridge did not seem to work, and the bedside lamp had no bulb in one side. There was a kettle and a plastic cup, no teabags, no coffee machine or breakfast facilities like in the pictures. Not sure if the TV worked, I didn't attempt to turn it on. But saying all this, it was clean and comfy! Also check in, there was no one to meet, doors were locked, I just happend to find a side door, that opened up to a staircase and bumped into someone who happend to know the owner, but that was just luck! Location is right on the main strip and about a 7 min walk uphill to the Gondola

• Alexandra (6/5): Close to the slopes, but disgustingly dirty - The accommodation is very well located, relatively close to the ski slopes, which is a big plus. Unfortunately, it is not maintained as it should be. Hairdryer and toilet paper. When we arrived, we found the bed linen torn and stained, cobwebs in the room and bathroom, and a lot of dust. The kettle was incredibly dirty, with traces of what looked like noodles inside, and it had a terrible smell. Around the fridge, when I searched for an outlet, I found clumps of dust—a level of filth that’s hard to describe. The bathroom was also disappointing; it didn’t have a proper shower cabin, just a wall-mounted shower. The water didn’t drain properly, flooding the bathroom and even spilling out into the hallway. On top of everything, the photos on Booking are completely misleading and do not reflect the reality of the accommodation. Additionally, we did not receive a receipt or invoice for the payment we made, which is unacceptable. It’s a real shame because the guesthouse has a lot of potential. A little more attention to cleanliness and basic maintenance would make a huge difference. Just because we paid less for the stay doesn’t mean we agreed to these conditions. I expected fewer amenities, not a complete lack of hygiene.

• Artemis (8/5): Very good - although next to the busiest street there was no noise at all, the soundproof really did a good job. Also spacious room. The hostess and her brother were very friendly and gave us discount to their mehana too the bathroom was a little bit dirty and uncomfortable to shower in. There is a mehana (local tavern) from the same owners-make sure to have leva and not other currency with you.

• Charlotte (3/5): Wouldn’t recommend or go back - Close to ski gondola , that really is the only thing Hotel was very hard to find , we walked round for an hour and no one had heard of the honey house … no sign outside so you would never no. Finally we found it , rang the door no answer we ended up having to walk down the road to the restaurant for help. I was very disappointed when I was shown our room , it smelt heavy of smoke. The only good thing about the property was the view.
