Alles in allem keine Empfehlung

- Natalia (8/5): - Good location
- Pascal (9/5): - - Zimmer war riesig
- Bett sehr bequem

- Jens (8/5): - Wenn man zum Fußball will optimal!! Keine 10 Minuten Weg.
- Elke (8/5): - Wenig Zimmer, daher angenehm ruhig. Kaum andere Besucher gesehen. Meist erst 7.15 fertig. Kaffee kam aber sofort. Die Bar war leider nicht besetzt.

- Ferrier (10/5): Just like home -
- Jane (7/5): The staff were lovely and let us move rooms after a night to a much much nicer room in the top floor. The lady who made - The second room we had was nice, room number 15 and the staff were really nice The first room we were in Term Ferlis (or something like that) the room was in the basement and it was damp and the decor was horrible, I would not recommend that room to anyone
- Sandra (9/5): Superb -
- Stig (2/5): Bad hotel, stay away. - Not much. Very cold room with high humidity. Poor heating possibility. Floors damaged by long time exposure of humidity. Not worth the price.
- Linda (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- ChristineBindert (4/5): A bad experience - The hotel has no lift and difficult and uneven stairs. Definitively not accessible for older people or people with mobility issues. There is no service at all, no reception so nobody to assit with luggage or other issues. The keys are in a " safelock" outside, like in an Airbnb. When we arrived the hotel had no heat ( bad luck we had heavy rain and cold weather) and the rooms in the "tower" had insufficient heat over the whole weekend. We had to ask several times for more heat (with little success) and also for a baby bed (altho we had reserved one when the rooms where booked). We all got with a heavy cold, including the baby. The lady helping at breakfast was unfriendly and the bill at check out was incorrect. In all fairness, due to my husband complaining we got a discount. But frankly we would have preferred more heat and friendly service!
- Zt (7/5): Good -
- Catherine (10/5): Comfortable- had a good sleep and a great breakfast - Lovely big room, clean and bright. Good view and character building, Nothing
- Lyndon (5/5): Bizarre experience feeling like I was the only one in the building. - Location was good Not seeing any staff or other guests at all. Spoke to someone on phone at 2pm to get code for key safe. As I left in the morning a lady came from the dining room and said “Tchuss, guten tag”.
- Anthony (10/5): The room and bathroom was excellent very warm For age of building - The character of the property was excellent and a fantastic spot It was nice and easy to find
- Lisa (7/5): pleasant hotel with helpful staff. to note, you will be charged more than booking.com rates. our stay safe as booked at - spacious rooms noisy location
- Fulya (10/5): Exceptional - The room we stayed had an amazing river view. Pretty large and the beds were comfortable. Receptionist was so friendly and helpful. We asked for a fan because of a heat it was provided right away.. I loved everything about this hotel. Location was great as well.
- CarlosandGigi (10/5): adequate, clean and good location - Driving from Berlin we stopped in Bremen. Found this hotel through TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. We took room #11. Quiet, clean, good value, bathroom was fine and water pressure good. Problem to find parking as the place only have a few that you must reserve separate (we didn't!) At certain times there are no "reception" and things are handled by phone (many budget hotels in Europe) Over all: Good place to stay. Frau KOLLER was helpful, friendly and nice.
- 715samq (10/5): Budget , Cheap and Cheerful - We were 2 adults and a child of 3,5 yr old. This hotel is very clean. Friendly and secure. Arrived in Bremen and got a taxi to the Hotel which cost 12.50 Euro from the airport.
When you arrive , you pick up the phone located outside (if no one is to answer the door) and wait for an answer. They'll give you a code over the phone for a safe which is located in the porch. The code opens the safety and you get your room key out the safe. Brilliant idea !
Rooms are dated but hey you'll be out exploring so it doesn't matter.
Come out the hotel and turn right , follow the road and that'll take you to town in 10min(walk)... Bremen Cathedral is breath taking, old town/little houses fabulous things to see.
Of course don't miss the musicians of Bremen statue (donkey, dog, cat, hen).
If you come out the hotel and turn left and left again, in 5 min you'll reach the main shops for food, clothes, coffee shops, bars, theatre, cinema , park etc.
This hotel is bang in the middle of it all. However , if you have a child younger than 4 yrs old, fo take your slim stroller just to give their little legs a break and most importantly give yourself a break as our 3,5 yr old walked everywhere but did want to be picked up time to time.
Food is cheap but beer is expensive we thought...
Just explore the town and don't hesitate to get lost as everyone seems to be sp helpful and try their hardest to communicate.
I can hear some of you saying why didn't we learn/speak few words of German . When you are staying in different cities for short break , it seems impossible to learn every countries languages however English is an international language and everyone seemed happy speaking it ...
So this beautiful magical city is full of magical music, art, history, food, drink and of course people.
Hope you have a fab time cause we did.
Special thanks to Ryanair for flying in to this beautiful city and making it all possible for us.
Thank you Turmhotel Weserblick for your hospitality.xxx
- Cenobita (8/5): Old style but nice - Came for a business trip with colleague, old building but my room was clean and ok. Some problems to find parking. My room was facing the road and so a little noisy. Not far from city center and with a nice walking track on the side of the river. Price is OK
- xj28 (10/5): Great Find - Found this hotel at random whilst looking for a place to stay on Sunday night. Great place to stay. Lovely clean rooms of real character at moderate price. The real thing. Close to a couple of gd bars as well.
- Dont_Like_Work (6/5): Not a bad hotel - Hotel location is pretty good, around 5 minutes walk from the Seilwall tram stop and 15 minutes walk along the river front to the Schlacte area. The Sielwal tram stop is only 4 stops and no more than 5 minutes from the city centre Domsheide stop. It should take you more than 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel.
Although the hotel room was a good size and reasonably decorated, the hotel common areas could do with a lick of paint. Hotel was very quiet and attracts an older clientelle and therefore no problem with noise. The room has no coffee or tea facilities in the room.
Only attempted to have the breakfast once but didn't succeed as the dining room is vey small and all the tables were occupied when we tried to get in. There is however a very good coffee house - "the coffee corner" in Sielwal.
I would stay at the hotel again but as I paid 170 euros for 2 nights I may try and find a more central hotel for around the same price.
- alandmim (8/5): Great location and service - We were interested in the great location and excellent price this hotel offered. Unfortunately we were the last to arrive our first night and were assigned the dungeon room. My wife did not like that room at all. The next morning during their excellent breakfast we asked for a room change and were accomdodated. A quick walk gets you into the old city, parking is a minor issue but it worked out fine.
- imogenbailey (8/5): Great place for a free night's sleep! - We found this gem of a B&B in the Lonely Planet's guide for Germany, in the middle-budget range of accomodation for Bremen.
Booking was relatively laid back, they didnt ask us for names or details or anything, and when we email them to confirm our stay a week before departing for Bremen, they reassured us everything was 'OK', in slightly patchy English.
When we eventually arrived (the map they had sent us with directions to the hostel was in German, and still not very clear, but we made the most of it ), we were met by a friendly bloke who simply gave us the key and told us the room was downstairs. It was quite surprsiing he just asked for my partner's name to confirm the reservation, and didnt seem to want any bank details or deposit or anything.
Needless to say tr rhe room was lovely and a pleasant surprise. Obviously recvently decorated, spacious, with a couch and double wardrobe, chandeliers and a lovely bathroom with big bath and shower. Not sure if all the rooms are like this or we just got lucky - but none the less, it wasnt what i was expecting!
Buffet breakfast was optional, though pretty much all residents in the hotel opted for it. and why not - immaculately presented, with a menu especially for 'tea'! at €5, it was worth it.
Although we were the youngest people staying here by a good 30 years, id definately recommend this B&B for anyone else planning a city break to Bremen. Its just a 15 min tram ride from the airport. Since Ryanair started flying here, tourism seems to have kicked off - although the B&B could have been more helpful with what is on offer attraction-wise, theres plenty of english-speaking tourist info places around.
- Freischutz (8/5): Just a short walk from the centre of Bremen - A small hotel within a group of three in Bremen. The hotel occupies an attractive early twentieth century villa overlooking (as the name implies) the River Weser. Although somewhat out of the centre of the beautiful town, a walk of no more than ten minutes will get you there (turn right out of the hotel; walk straight on). We occupied two large and traditonally furnished rooms on the first floor. Breakfast in the ground floor dining room followed the usual German pattern.
Two tips about arriving at the hotel:
(i) If arriving in Bremen by train, use the tramway to complete your journey. Before boarding, buy your tram tickets from a tobacconist or newspaper stall or from the office of the local transport undertaking (there's one of these at the main railway station). From the station, take tram route 10 (direction Sebaldsbruck) four stops (to the Sielwall stop). After alighting, walk back to the traffic lights, turn left into Seilwall and continue about 500 metres to the end of the road. At the end, turn right into Osterdeich: the hotel is the second building along on your right.
(ii) If you arrive when the hotel is unstaffed, a notice on the front door will direct you to use the house telephone to contact the group's central reception desk. Once your reservation has been verified, you will be given the combination to a safe from which you can take your room keys (which also double as keys to the hotel's front door). Although a bit unusual, the arrangement proved perfectly satisfactory for us.
