Guest Reviews

- Michael (9/5): Fantastisch! Niets
- Guest (10/5): Elegante e prezioso - Colazione completa e assortita
- Dennis (10/5): Perfect - Geweldige locatie en super goed verzorgd ontbijt. Letterlijk Niets

- Rosemarie (9/5): Fantastic hotel in conveninent location - This is a very different hotel on the outskirts of central Brugge. Quaint, nicely decorated, with a feeling of days gone by. Quiet area. The room was clean, wifi worked well. The staff is extremely service-minded and kind and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our host suggested several things to do in Brugge and offered to provide a take-away breakfast since we were leaving so early in the morning. The breakfast the first morning was wonderful, delicious yoghurt with strawberries, fresh fruit and plenty of bread choices. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was fantastic! There is a large parking garage just across the street which was very convenient. Would come back and definitely recommend staying here! The only slightly negative thing was the shower. The bathroom in our room was a converted normal room and there was a large bathtub but no curtains to prevent water from flowing onto the nice wooden floors when showering. It would have been much better with a shower cabin that can be closed. A curtain around the bathtub should under any circumstances be considered. It could also be good to know that there are many stairs, some steep, in the building, which should be taken into consideration if you have any problems with mobility.

- Kathryn (10/5): A historic and beautiful Guesthouse. - An absolute pleasure to stay at Home Fleuri. Located across from a lovely park and a few walking blocks from the hustle and bustle of Bruges, it is a peaceful respite. Breakfast was a gourmet (included) delight. Great wine and cocktails, furnishings, comfy bed. Recommend without hesitation. The Innkeeper was welcoming and happy to help with local knowledge and directions. As hard as I try, there was not a thing we did not like.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - What a fantastic place to stay! Great room, breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade yoghurt. The owner was very pleasant, helpful and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay in Bruges. We wholeheartedly recommend the Home Fleur Guesthouse to you.
- Kamilla (9/5): Great experience! - Amazing Staff, They are very kind and are making effort to make your sty perfect. The beds were very comfy and the breakfast was great, they served fresh baked goods and salty/sweet dishes of your preference! We are very satisfied and happy everything was good
- Nicola (10/5): Exceeded expectations - The room was spacious and beautiful presented. The owner was welcoming, friendly and happy to give us information. The breakfast was exceptional. The location was only minutes from the centre of Bruges, but also very quiet and peaceful. Everything was great.
- Daniela (10/5): Fantastic little gem of a find - The staff made you feel very welcome and are very attentive. Frederic was a wealth of knowledge and fantastic with recommendations. He helped me plan where to go on the next few days of my trip.
- Wayne (9/5): Great location , very polite staff and excellent breakfast . - Excellent location Shower was in the bath with no enclosure or curtain , so didn’t bother using because the whole room would of got soaked
- Bradley (7/5): Good - Breakfast was good.
Room was spacious. No one there when we arrived early to drop off bags.
Had to wait else where for someone to arrive.
- Lawrence (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was lovely. People are very friendly we had a lovely weekend
- Darragh (9/5): Superb -
- Gina (9/5): An amazing place to stay, centrally located, with fabulous staff to make it perfect! - The staff were all amazing and friendly. The rooms were clean and had so much charm. Loved all the features that added to the ambiance of the place. Included a giant breakfast that is specially prepared for your group. Since we left early on our second day I asked if we could have a few rolls leftover from the previous day. Instead they prepared travel breakfasts for our group that included multiple bread products, yoghurt etc. This was completely unexpected and very welcome. Our whole group really appreciated it.
We arrived by car and parked in the underground garage just around the corner from the guesthouse. It was pretty inexpensive and very convenient. From there we travelled on foot to the rest of town.
We stayed in rooms 1 and 2. Room 1, the shower/bath is not in a separate room, the toilet is. Room 2, the bunk beds are in the same room as the bath and sink (there is no shower), the toilet is in its' own room.
This is one of my favourite ever places to stay, its history, ambiance and hosts made it a stay I will never forget. The only negative is the showering facilities. In room 1, the shower does not have it's own room. We travelled as a friend group and so we left the room so we could have privacy during showering. Room 2, there is no shower only a bath. This could easily be converted by adding a holder for the shower head on the wall and a shower curtain around the bath.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Super place and brilliant staff
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rick (9/5): Superb - Location, service, breakfast, eye for detail Double bed is basic two singles put together. It doesn’t necessarily make it a very comfortable double bed.
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional - Location holds it's own charm of the old building. Breakfast was amazing, variety of food, home made yogurt, fresh orange juice, choice of bread and cheeses. In general very welcoming atmosfere and a lot of attention from the staff.
- Jeremy (9/5): brilliant room, fantastic host, excellent location - room was great, breakfast was fantastic. the host was attentive, he spoke great English. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. close to the centre of town, parking nearby the only negative was that the private bathroom was not attached tot he room we slept in. this was not a huge issue, but it did mean that we had to leave our room when we needed to use the facilities in the middle of the night....
- Kamil (10/5): Romatic hotel run by the family, very kind and profesional personnel really willing to advice and help (including luggag -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Pauline (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully decorated old guesthouse in a great location. Fantastic breakfast.
- David (10/5): Highly recommend this outstanding property and host - Spectacular host. Warm and inviting. Catered to all our needs including carrying our heavy luggage. That we had to leave😊
- Samantha (10/5): 10 out of 1O! Makes you feel like a local! - Very personal- felt like we were in Fredrick’s home, and we were. The entire place is gorgeously presented- from the welcoming lobby to the guest room. The restaurant is very special, offering a gourmet menu. Breakfast, included, is abundant. Everything was perfect. Even though they said the private bathroom was in the hall, and that seemed at first off-putting, it worked out better that way, affording more privacy. And with lush robes, too!
- John (10/5): Memorable stay here that made our time in Bruges extra special. - Fantastic stay here, mother and son team who take care of every little detail to ensure a properly good stay. Well appointed rooms, extremely convenient location, excellent breakfast with the freshest ingredients.
- Antony (9/5): Home Flueri was a relaxing base and added value to the experience of the Precious Blood Procession - Delightful location opposite a small park, but very central - key sites within 5-10 minute walk. Traditionally furnished, staff very welcoming and helpful and excellent WiFi. Car parking available in the square. The restaurant dinner was delightful - classical dishes served in an elegant dining room. There was a shower over the bath but no shower curtain.
- Allan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lee (7/5): Good Stay would stay again - location is the bonus - Location excellent, rooms nice & breakfast good
- Leonid (8/5): Very good -
- Sandra (10/5): Unique - Perfect place to stay to fully experience this fairytale city! Room is clean spacious and gives you the feeling of going back in time. The stuff is super nice and friendly and breakfast was special! Highly recommended!
- Julianna (10/5): We spent a wonderful weekend in Bruges and home Fleuri made our trip even better. The hotel is perfectly located- just a - Location, interior design, staff There is absolutely nothing to dislike
- E (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teresa (10/5): Beautifully renovated hotel - Everything. The hotel was beautifully renovated and the staff very accommodating and professional. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. Though very comfortable I would have preferred a double bed rather than twin beds for a romantic weekend away.
- George (10/5): Fantastic weekend away in the most amazing hotel. 10/10 service and incredible breakfast. - Lovely hotel with very welcoming and friendly staff. They were very happy to help with all requests. The breakfast was fantastic, so much choice of food and all was very high quality. Will definitely remember this hotel and visit again in the future. Everything was perfect.
- Dong (9/5): Overall it was wonderful experience to stay with Home Fleuri Guesthouse. - Breakfast was awesome. It was the best breakfast we had among the hotels we stayed so far. We are travel lover and we have experience to stay with many kind of hotel. No one can compare this hotel with breakfast.
Also, all the staffs in this guesthouse is so friendly and helpful. We were feel like staying with close friend's house in deed. Additionally the Park Restaurant (owned by this guesthouse) also is very recommended if you're the fine dinning lover. We were enjoy our dinner there too. Bath room is outside of our room.
- Caroline (9/5): Superb -
- John (9/5): The hotel is perfectly located to everything you want to see in Bruges and the staff is excellent. - We were greeted as old friends by the staff who worked very hard to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was FANTASTIC!!! Eggs to order, homemade yogurt and fresh bread and pastries. The rooms were quaint and comfortable. The tub in the room was an unexpected bonus especially after a cool, damp day of sightseeing.
- Ramazan (9/5): Like the city itself, stay at 17th century… - Breakfast is very nice, well prepared and delicious. Ambiance of the building is also nice, it feels like mid age century design. Staff is also very nice and friendly. Stayed at room number 3. Due to building architecture this room has not its own separate bathroom. For us, it is not an issue but at least i need to mention that as a negative experience.
- Carl (9/5): Superb - The location is perfect, 2 mins to the main square, parking right opposite, lovely little park opposite. The staff were so friendly. Breakfast was plentiful.
- Cheryl (10/5): Vintage Charm, Kindness and Warmth - This hotel exudes vintage charm and is only surpassed by the attentives, kindness and warmth of Fredrick and his staff. The were helpful, too care of us and the breakfast was beyond expectation. The best scrambled eggs. Croissants better than any I ate throughout France. Homemade yogurt with fresh raspberry Coulis. Each day breakfast a delight. I would have preferred an enclosed shower and less dolls and bears.
- Krasimira (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lesley (10/5): Exceptional - Location, friendly helpful staff, great breakfast, comfy beds Nothing really!!!
- Dovile (10/5): Fabulous! - What a lovely place in the heart of Bruges! Frederic was a great host, his hospitality exceeded our expectations. And let's not forget the most delicious breakfast in a beautiful restaurant. If I'm ever coming back to Bruges, I would definitely stay in Fleuri Guesthouse!
- Dana (9/5): wonderful experience, warmly recommend it - owner and staff going out of their way to help
house beautiful
breakfast very good and nicely served
very large accommodations there is no AC and we left windows open as the temperature was very nice but unfortunately some mosquitoes came in
- Ian (9/5): Superb - The breakfast was excellent, prepared by a chef in splendid surrounds.
The room was large and was very quiet (I don't know if that would be different when the restaurant below is busy).
The property is attractive and historic and located in a quiet area but only a short walk from the visitor destinations in the centre. The weather was hot during our visit and air conditioning would have been welcome, although the room was reasonably cool.
- Lesley (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (10/5): The whole experience was wonderful, from our elegant room to rhe incredible breakfast! - it was such a hidden gem! Nothing!
- Ken (10/5): perfect in every way thanks to Frederic and family - The property was a charming home beautifully furnished and decorated by the owners it had a wonderful feel as soon as you entered ,it felt like home. Our room was large and well appointed with garden aspect. The host Frederic and his family we're the incredible hosts nothing was too much trouble they welcomed us warmly , breakfasts cooked by Frederic were gourmet and served by candlelight in a superb dining room. There was absolutely nothing to dislike
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (10/5): A gorgeous guesthouse near everything - I was completely unfamiliar with Bruges and had no idea what to expect with Home Fleuri--and as it turns out, I couldn't have selected a better accommodation. The location is near perfect; it's nestled in a quiet offshoot of town, but just a short walk from the central area. The guesthouse itself is exquisitely decorated, as was my room, which had a nice, big bathtub and plenty of warm water. Breakfast was also excellent! I couldn't believe how good the service was. The entire staff was so kind and friendly, and I truly felt perfectly at ease there. If I get back to Bruges--and I hope to--I am definitely staying here again!
- Jieyan (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (10/5): beautiful period hotel, with those added touches that make it special. Also the most attentive, welcoming owners & s - welcoming & helpful owners & staff
Beautiful building & rooms
location
- Myrthe (8/5): Very good - Service was great, and breakfast was amazing. Great location, in the center but a quiet area, and the rooms were very spacious with all necessary ammenities. The building is a bit older, and the walls were fairly thin. We could very clearly hear the TV in the next room. There's a restaurant downstairs, but no noise from that. The mattresses were a bit hard.
- Alaa (9/5): Superb -
- Hannaeff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Corine (10/5): This is a place you must visit!!! - We have now stayed at this location for the 3rd time, always during Christmas. You will not get a better and more beautiful Christmas feeling at this family business! The quality is very high and we feel very valued and comfortable as guests. We have now embraced these people and are going again next year! The city of Bruges is beautiful and must be seen! I really can't come up with anything! Everything was fantastic!!
- Reto (10/5): Exceptional stay. Would love to visit again. - The hospitality was truly exceptional. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. Nothing at all.
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Keng (9/5): Excellent breakfast with very wide spread of cold meats, cheese, breads, fruits & yogurt. Love the “pigs ears” cold - Cosy 3 room property. convenient location to town centre Need to be walk softly on wooden floor. Lighting a bit dim.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucie (10/5): Outstanding! - I don’t usually leave reviews however our stay here really exceeded my expectations! The rooms, breakfast, service were all outstanding. Location is perfect! The restaurant at the hotel (park restaurant) was also absolutely amazing! One of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed and really made the weekend special 😊! Nothing!
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): Very pleasant stay with an excellent location and host - The guesthouse is in a great location, just a 5 minute walk from the canals where boat trips can be taken and a further 2 or 3 minutes to the main square of Bruges. Parking is excellent with a quiet car park just across the street. Mr Bruggeman was a perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. He was most helpful. Breakfast was delightful and plentiful. We didn't get the chance to have an evening meal there but we did see people eating and the setting looked very special. Evening serving staff looked very professional and were very friendly The decor of the guest house was not to our taste and was very cluttered with all manner of ornaments and arrangements on every surface. The room and house generally however looked very clean so a lot of time has been taken to keep it in a good condition. It is definitely a maximalist approach to decor. We were also a little surprised with the layout of our room. The room had a bath/shower and basin in the open and a toilet in a small closet. Normally we would expect an ensuite.
- Sufiyah (9/5): A warm welcome, delightful people and pleasant stay! -
