Guest Reviews
- Els (9/5): - Het was een superleuk verblijf met alles erop en eraan. Hele goede communicatie met de eigenaar. We komen zeker terug.
- Lucy (10/5): -
- Paula (5/5): It was ok, but I wouldn't recommend it. Pictures are very different to reality. - The location. Very close to the centre. The layout of the apartment was strange. The lights came on in our bedroom at about 1.30am, we didn't know why. There was a smell of sewerage in the apartment. The shower room floor got soaking wet after a shower. Really bad layout in shower room. Toilet room was separate but had no lock on door. There was a living room/kitchen that was cluttered with chairs and sofas so not very relaxing. Fridge was in the hallway despite there being room in kitchen/ dining room. The whole place just felt odd. The beds were comfortable though.
- Henrietta (8/5): Great location, spacious and comfortable rooms - Location is great, rooms and bathroom very comfortable! There is non kitchen and basin, but the host provided plastic tub for dishes, with dishcloths, but there was no dishwashing liquid. Would be helpful if a small bottle was available
- Maria (5/5): A good base to explore the city but not many comforts or extras for you - The location to the centre was fantastic. It was a good base to explore the city Felt the facilities were a little tired. The small toilet had no sink. This was not very hygienic. The rugs were also a little tired looking. Not enough crockery left for four people and no sink to wash up in

- Mark (8/5): It was a lovely stay as frequent visitors to Bruges. - Location great within a few minutes walk to the main square, the apartment was warm and clean, Wi Fi great including the TV. The beds where very comfortable. No kitchenet had to washup plates and cups in bathroom and no spoons provided, No hand wash basin or extractor fan in toilet being next to a food preparation area. extractor not working in the bathroom causing a lot of condensation.
It would make a huge deference if the above was addressed by the owners.
- miriam (7/5): - De locatie is perfect. De bedden waren goed Geen keuken. Waterkoker vullen in de badkamer.
Te weinig servies en bestek. Geen plaats om met 4 personen te ontbijten
- Shirley (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. - Spacious, comfortable bedrooms. A large walk-in shower. Everything clean and bright. The owners were extremely helpful prior to our stay, giving us information on parking and sites to see. There is a microwave, fridge and sufficient cutlery/crockery, however there is no actual kitchen. We only had simple breakfasts and all pot washing was done in a washing up bowl filled from the bathroom. It’s not possible to do any actual cooking.
- Kerry (9/5): Great location - The location was great able to walk everywhere Bit of an odd & disjointed setup
- Biscaro (8/5): Enjoyable stay in a quiet part of the city easily walkable to sights and activities. - The location was great. Mostly quiet area but within walking distance of the Markt square and other attractions. We were on ground floor and the traffic could be quite loud. The shower gave us a bit of a problem as it tended to leak on the floor and then we would be using our towels to mop up.
- Adriana (7/5): Good location but overprice for what you get - Location, location, location. Easy communication with the owner. Terrible odor in the toilettes. The apartment was clean but it’s difficult to believe that the odor wasn’t notice before.
Overpriced for what you get. Basic things, such the hand soap, was mixed up with water. After chatting about this with the owner, the answer was that they bring enough. You can judge based on the picture.
- Sara (5/5): Great location but disappointing appartment - The location is the best, less than 10 minutes walk from the main square. There was also plenty of space and even thought the layout was unusual with all the locked off private rooms this was expected from the description. The owner communicated well and shared detailed information prior to arrival Sadly the place does not live up to the pictures with furnature feeling quite old and tired. It could so easily be improved if the owner took note of all the feedback given here. Despite the pictures showing numerous cushions on the bed there was only one ver small square pillow per person which was very uncomfortable and more of a square cushion than a proper pillow. The shower tray also still leaks badly and has not been addressed despite numerous feedback from previous visitors. The linnens and towels seemed clean but sadly the rest of the apartment wasn't, with cobwebs and dead insects everywhere. There was also an issue with some kind of flying ants in the main bedroom. Bruges is a stunning city and we will be back but sadly not to this apartment.
- Welburn (8/5): Brugges is beautiful - very central the warren like set out and the private rooms
- Colin (9/5): Perfect location to explore Bruges! - The location was the ideal spot to explore Bruges. The little square was quiet and serene and the entire city was within walking distance.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place, very centric. The Rooms are amazing, comfortable and big place to enjoy Bruges. COuldn't ask for a better place to stay there I liked all
- Andy (9/5): Superb - Great location. Clean and comfortable. Good communication from owner for entry instructions etc.
- Lisa (8/5): Overall, we were very comfortable here. The facilities are more like a motel than an appartments. - The location is fantastic and the bedrooms were a lovely surprise, clean, comfortable and warm. The layout is large but a little strange. For example, the kitchen is a small alcove of the hallway and doesn’t have its own running water.
There is no communal seating, but table and chairs in each bedroom.
- Lorraine (8/5): Great location and comfortable beds. - Great location and comfortable beds.
Large bathroom Shower leaks very easily. Not a great set up for drainage and extraction but pressure and heat of shower was always great.
- Dennis (9/5): Bruges is a beautiful city and we really enjoyed staying in a great location for exploring central Bruges. - The location was perfect. Right in the middle of central Bruges The beds were very comfortable The bathroom shower was great. The apartment was very clean and in a small, square. It was also very near a bus stop, which we appreciated, since we used public transportation from the train station. The kitchen was small, without a table, but since we took advantage of the wonderful Bruges restaurants, that wasn’t a problem.
The room is on the ground floor (which actually is a plus for us) and you could hear street noise. It was probably louder because we couldn’t close the shutters in the bedroom. (If we had talked with the hosts, they would have let us know how to close the shutters. It was a little tricky, but probably would have muffled the noise).
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional - Great location for the city centre, the rooms were very comfortable and the shower was great
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - In a nice quiet part of the city and a great area to explore the camels, with plenty of choice for food and things to do. Great place if you have limited mobility. The place was great for family of four or two pairs of adults. So would not be suitable if you are just two or want to do a bit of self catering even though a fridge and microwave is provided.
- Dan (8/5): Loved Bruges and location - The location is great, a short walk from the main square and various bars and restaurants. Property was easy to access and Anita always answered any queries promptly. Great shower. Good sized rooms. Parking needs to be clearer. There was originally a car park space with the property when we booked. We found the property ok to get to but finding recommended parking not so easy. If we visited again we'd either not drive or just park out of the city at the station (which was 2.60 euros for 24 hours). Property a bit noisy with passing traffic and passers-by (to be expected in the centre). Lay-out is a bit strange.
- Claire (4/5): I wouldn’t stay here again. - Good location! GREAT location actually. - Super weird set up - which is fine, but honestly felt more like a hostel and wasn’t ever sure if we were alone or someone was using our bathroom - every door had a key and most were locked marked “private.”
- Moldy ceiling in the bathroom (so bad smell as many stated)
- Not enough pillows and very very flat
- One bedroom had like a hole middle of the bed and in that bedroom that curtains on the outside didn’t work so that wasn’t cool.
- Gnats or little fruit flies were in the main room (just a few but still gross).
I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels/apartments in Europe and otherwise and honestly, I felt so uneasy here and just dirty. I wouldn’t stay here again.
- Denis (10/5): Awesome - Everything was awesome. You have a beautiful property. We would certainly recommend it and use it again in the future (We are Canadians but we live in France)
PS. I left a note on the table mentioning athat we had found a key chain with lots of keys in the back Bedroom. They were not ours. We found them in one of the dressers in that room. PILLOWS You need to have more in both bedrooms. Most of us are used to sleep with 2 pillows, i would think... Therefore 4 pillows per room sounds about right :)
- Mike (9/5): Lovely place in a lovely city. - Big beds. Lovely shower. Very central location. Would have liked some more pillows in the bed. Booked with a car parking space, but unfortunately wasn’t available by the time we got there.
- David (8/5): Nice stay - Nice location. Rooms were decent size. Big bathroom as well. Need more pillows. Little confused with the rooms saying 'Private' as we didn't know if there was someone else living there. Also we noticed a kitchen in the apartment but our check in notes didn't mention it. It's good size room and I think it should be part of the package.
- Leach (9/5): Lovely apartment in the centre of Bruges. - It was in a quiet location, but within a few minutes walk if the main centre and markets.
The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable with two toilets and a very large shower room. There was no coffee cups. One of the coffee machines didn’t work. The few glasses and the soup bowls we used for coffee were stained as was the mattress cover when we stripped the bed at the end of our stay.
- Virginia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irene (7/5): Location full marks/communication zero. - Liked the comfortable bed and the excellent location. We liked the comprehensive instructions and information provided in advance. What would have been helpful would have been a mention of the fabulous Bruges Card which allowed us free access to museums for 72 hours. It was a brilliant find. The shower in the bathroom flooded easily and there was no mop to clean up the water. We made contact with the owner but had no response at all. In order to fill the kettle we needed to use the bathroom, as there was no kitchen as such, just a corner with a fridge and a cupboard. We were four people and had 3 soup bowls plus one cup for our coffees and teas. Again the owner did not respond at all.
- Emily (7/5): Good - Great location, good WiFi, big beds Needed a few more pillows! And would have liked to be able to lock the interior door. But good value for location overall!
- Brendan (2/5): Give it a miss if more than 1 night - Location. Parking spot is tiny. The neighbour parks on the centre line. The beds are hard. No kitchenette. No washing up sink as you have to use the bathroom one. No dinning tables or lounge. The property is setup like a brothel establishment, doors everywhere with private rooms around every corner, did not feel safe. Last but not least, you have no control over the heating, it's all done via the owner which is very delayed!
- Louise (10/5): Perfect location, great for our needs - Perfect location and just what we needed
- Ricky (8/5): Very good - We had a very nice stay and enjoyed using this accommodation, parking was. Very nice bonus to use, comfy beds and very clean Shower is nice but doesn't drain very well so goes all over the floor.
- Ben (8/5): Very good -
- Russ (10/5): Exceptional -
- Somaaya (9/5): Would definately stay their again. - Very good location and the beds were very comfortable and added bonus two toilets. Everything was good.
- Mk (9/5): Superb - Locality is great, parking place is big plus
- Caroline (7/5): Great location, lots of room, great stay. - Location, setup, great instructions A communal living area would have been nice.
- Sian (10/5): Perfectly comfortable apartment within walking distance of the beautiful town of Bruges. - very clean and comfortable. in a fab location - easy access to the old town. big comfy beds. big rooms. light and airy. massive shower room and 2 lavatories. it was a very odd configuration! (but we expected that from previous descriptions) Lots of locked doors in the apartment with “private” marked on them. Also no living room space which was strange but again as expected. It was strange but it didn’t matter as we were out exploring beautiful Bruges and when we were at the apartment it was very comfortable.
slight stagnant water smell in the shower room - but it had no window so no fresh air to clear it.
- Sally (8/5): A Family Weekend In Bruges - Excellent central location with secure parking. Spacious rooms with large beds. Lovely walk in shower. Two toilets. Really good detailed property instructions. Loose tap in one toilet and only a very low flow of cold water for hand washing. Pillows thin and uncomfortable.
- Rita (8/5): Superb Location and lovely Restaurants nearby. We went for Christmas Markets. - Excellent Location for Centre of Town and all within an easy walk with plenty of Restaurants accessible. Very Happy.
- Izak (10/5): wonderful opportunity to enjoy the centre of Bruges. - location, location location!! limited kitchen
- Lisa (8/5): perfect position for walking into the city, secure parking a must. - location and secure parking property felt a little tired
- Chloe (10/5): great location - location was excellent. convenient parking & clean property
- Robert (8/5): great location parking was great too! - great location lacking a lounge area
- Kushagra (10/5): Exceptional - The location was just perfect, right in the center of the beautiful town of Bruges, everything was super convenient to access. the check in instructions were very clear and we faced zero issues in checking in and parking. There could have been a better kitchen area. only a microwave and a Fridge were provided which were pretty inconvenient if you think you will cook in case you are a vegetarian or do not like eating out much.
- Shay (7/5): Good - great location very noisy because the apartment is on the first floor. you can hear every car go by and every person walking on the sidewalk. also a bit stuffy because the windows couldn’t be opened all the way.
- Claire (8/5): Very good - Great location, everything is so easy to get to from this apartment and the parking is great! The beds were really comfortable, the shower was great. Having 2 toilets was a bonus! Great hanging space. We had a couple of teething problems that were dealt with straight away!
The apartment was very warm and hard to let any air flow. Bruges was 30C the few days we stayed!
- Craig (8/5): Great clean accommodation in the centre of Bruge. - Great location and comfortable accommodation with good beds. Secure parking area. Better kitchen/lounge facilities as it's classed as an apartment. The apartment kitchen/living room is locked off to guests and just a fridge & microwave is available. The apartment is still great, this would just make the stay better, I would have happily paid more to stay in the same place with access to the kitchen/living area.
