Belen (7/5): Good value for easy going travellers that are not picky, don't mind about tv or kitchen equipment. - Location is great main avenues close, supermarket literally a walk away. Parking available at all times in the front door. As soon as we walked in my son got a piece of glass stuck on his foot, minor cut, nothing serious, but was concerned by the host explanation 'it must have been left there by a tourist's, implying it wasn't his responsibility. TV was not working properly, he did try to meddle with a cable but was not interested in providing solution when prompted. Overall the apt was not clean (lots of spiderwebs and accumulated dust) and it's not ventilated (it has ac and fan), we tried opening windows but they have no mosquito screens and we suffered that night from copious bites. The kitchen equipment is sub par: many forks, one kife and a spoon. Do bring your own cutlery, I would not recommend for picky travellers.
