- Abraham (1/5): Bad - Price Old bed old bedding
Carpets
Bathroom lock bathtub needs replacing
- Dale (5/5): Was not expecting much at the price, but was still disappointed - location good
You get what you pay for WHICH IS NOT MUCH The property was rundown. Toilets didn't flush properly. Cleanliness was questionable. Just because a place is cheap, does not mean it should be in disrepair.
- Sukhjinder (10/5): Very good every one - Very good Nothing

Staff Smoking weed
No hot water
One day there was no shower hose at all.
Advertised as having a desk- none
Advertised as having free toiletries- none
Peeling wallpapers everywhere
Despite a cheap price, it was awful
- Rashid (10/5): Exceptional - its very best place for vocation just with the big park
but just one thing because of park there is a problem for parking
if you have car public parking will be the 2 euro for one hour
but its free from midnight till 7 in the morning

- Ferdia (7/5): Good -
- James (10/5): Will definitely be back - Convenient to Dublin City centre and the airport and lots of great restaurants and pubs in walking distance
- Karabo (1/5): Utter disgust - No privacy at all with shared bathrooms, there was no toilet paper roll I had to go out to the shops to get one for my self, you need to go down the stairs to access the kitchen, it's so disturbing, what I have seen in the pictures is totally different to what I have seen with my eyes, the bed is very old making some funny noises, the bed linen is old and smelly , no couch, in a nutshell the hospitality is very poor and crummy, the mat on the floor is dirty and old, the room itself is dilapidated and smells offish, absolutely nothing to write home about I am gutted, I feel cheated and deceived and wouldn't recommend anyone for a horrible night at the Gallary..thank you for spoiling my night with my partner. Everything. No value for my money..distasteful stay I have ever had in Europe. If I had enough money I could have booked another accomodation immediately after seeing that horrific and disgusting guest house. The photos and information about the facility at the property on booking are not matching, complete hoax. Worse enough my partner got flu from those dusty linens.
- Rajith (10/5): Clean and tidyy - Clean and tidyy
- Lubos (2/5): Don't. - Literally nothing The smell of fried food throughout the whole building.
The stuff in the room was like from WW2, stained bed, stained walls, not working furniture... I think some prison cells look better.
Just buy new furniture and paint the walls, that's not even that expensive.
We stayed for 30 min and then decided to get out and get an actual place to stay. The worst part is that this accommodation is not even that cheap.
- Qu (1/5): Bad -
- Gabor (7/5): Not bad for that price. -
- Ekayung (2/5): I don’t think I’ll return - Location Rude and unwelcoming staff. Did not change bedsheets for my whole stay despite me asking them to
- Mckinley (3/5): Poor - cheap the woman was not very nice and not clean, left dirty dishes in the sink. two men came banging on the door and five young women were left trying to figure out what to do because the hosts did not communicate to us or the men trying to get in.
- Nina (7/5): Good -
- Zakaria (10/5): Exceptional -

- Amanat (5/5): Passable -
- Diána (5/5): Passable - Bathroom was horrible.
The room was too small, the floor was dirty lino
- Boylan (1/5): Not worth the money 10 am we had to leave - Not a lot to be honest NO tv in room no iron no hair dry never be back
- Francis (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kurt (6/5): Pleasant - Great location, easy keyless entry and lockbox inside.
Had necessities, nice to have kitchen facilities. Bedside lamp and nice extension box could not be plugged into outlet. Maybe previous occupant took converter? Had to use our own
Would be nice to get hand towels.
Halls and stairs a bit worn, could use a spruce up
- Margaret (1/5): Deplorable standards; How did you get into Booking.com? I intend to ask them ! - Breakfast was not included Everything
- Muldoon (10/5): Exceptional -

- Joseph (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jelena (7/5): Very quiet place, good for sleep. -
- Martin (4/5): pleased to leave - did not appreciate separate bathroom and on street parking. above
- Fioretti (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jennifer (3/5): Below average stay but decent location - Located near a really nice park with a coffee shop, also some restaurants and pubs down the street. Not the cleanest. Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Hot water wasn’t working in the shower on one of the mornings, showered with ice cold water.
- Mick (1/5): Terrible - Nothing it was terrible Really poor no tv dated and not good and pics not the same on post
- Maicon (1/5): Terrible accommodation run by an uneducated Brazilian woman who owns the house and rents it out without being able to re - next to a beautiful park for meetings. uneducated administrator, ruggi, Brazilian and from the favela!! who listens and watches everything behind the doors, a terrible energy.
- Ozzy (3/5): Disappointed in Drumkondra - Cant really say i liked much to be honest. mmm maybe a Lidl up the road was convenient. The park at the end of the street was nice i guess. I must stress that this is as basic as you can ask for. If your looking for something without any razzle or dazzle this is it. Its basically a house the owner is renting rooms out. I messaged him to say i was in a bit of a predicament so might have trouble finding it. He never replied...nice hey....
There is a girl living there downstairs called Juliana who was lovely and helped me out with any questions i had.
The prices he is asking for is basically a joke. Its semi clean and very run down.
Stay there and you will see for yourself. If you can find something else for similar prices i would advise you to take that instead. Ive stayed in quite a few places over the years and this is one of the worst by far..
His directions to get there could actually be updated. The bus i got was only 2 euro and stops at the Pub. I also got the number 13 alongside number 16 and 41 from Dublin city. If you get to Lidl you have gone to far, get out and walk back on yourself. No point looking for anything that says the The Gallary. its just a house with a door.
If you need the airport the same stop goes there which takes about 20 min give or take and cost me 2.60. Correct money needed as no change given, drivers are helpful which is nice.
Good Luck...
- Jamal (4/5): Disappointing -
- Francis (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (6/5): Handy airport stay - This was a cheap room for an early airport room so it was handy enough for getting there etc. It was quite noisy at night time with people coming in and out and ringing the buzzer but to be expected for the price.
- Arash (10/5): Exceptional -
- Constantine (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet room excited time for me and I love it
- Ali (10/5): Exceptional -
- Russell (3/5): I won’t go back. Better Airbnb for the same price in the same neighborhood - good communication to arrive room was different than picture. TINY. bunk bed?! barely space for a bag on the floor. Super thin walls and loud neighbors.
- Piotr (7/5): Ok - Ok Bed
- Woo (3/5): Poor -
- Zula (7/5): Good -
- Mary (6/5): Would have been better with hot water for bath and accurate info re parking - No breakfast No hot water upstairs Sunday evening
- Clifford (5/5): Passable - Environment was nice, location was good Toilet was too far from room, not too clean
- Lord (5/5): Disappointed - The hostel directions are not correct, and the host did not respond to my emails at all. Extremely hard to find the place.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Viliana (3/5): It was ok for the purpose, but not sure the price reflects the property - Booking.com It was very rundown and the room had a smell.
- Miguel (3/5): Poor - Extra small room with no chair, no table, no nothing, just a bed, I even didn't have enough place to put my Ryanair size bag, the WC and the kitchen was dirt, disgusting place.
- Aleksei (8/5): Very good -
- Bothwell (9/5): Everything was just good, - Everything was good, the place was quiet and an excellent atmosphere. Early checkout as we were still having some good time in the place and old modern furniture and water tapes.
- Mary (2/5): Very poor - Nothing except Transport accessibility Unhygienic. Lady kept doors open the whole night Paintin during the night..No breakfast served.Residents shared one small shower next to the kitchen.Toiket not flushing next to the kitchen.
- Abiola (3/5): Poor - I didn't like the fact that I was given a bunk bed room instead of what I paid for, you changed my order, I saw a lot of other offers online before I paid for yours, and telling me all other rooms were booked when their doors were wide open and seems empty sounds like deceit to me. I had to buy pain relief drug for sleeping on your bunk bed.
- Bothwell (6/5): The water was cold in the shower, and the carpet in the bedroom was badly stinking. - Good location near the city centre and in a beautiful place where there is a resavour. The place was quiet and peaceful. The lady who was in charge of the house kept disturbing when we got to the kitchen to prepare food. The moment we get inside the kitchen, she always pitches up, and we end up crowded and not comfortable because she always fills up the place with her food and makes the place smaller and hard for us.
- Kk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mustafa (1/5): Bad -
- Oleksandra (3/5): Poor -
- Hogan (1/5): Bad - Nothing, other than location for city centre, easy access for public transport The room consisted of a bed, wardrobe and a sink. No shower facilities, shower pack in bathroom didn't have a shower head. Overall, even though it wasn't toi costly I would of expected a bit more for the price paid. Are these placed vetted prior to listing on your site?wr9rkmnswr9rkmnswr9rkmns
- Brian (7/5): Good -
- Miguel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roisin (1/5): scary -
- Sasha (5/5): Passable - Couldn’t get a shower or a bath. No shower hose and no bath plug.
- Vukovic (1/5): Everything was fine only accommodation is bas, dirty, lots of things are broken - Location Very dirty everywhere
- Patryk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nigar (4/5): Disappointing -
- Stanislav (8/5): Very good -
- Meeroo (1/5): Nightmare on elm street - I had to go and book somewhere else because didn’t get a room here it’s like nightmare on elm street I had to go and book somewhere else because didn’t get a room here it’s like nightmare on elm street
- Milikyas (1/5): Bad - Be careful when you book at this accommodation. What they advertise is different from what you get when you reach there. Here is what happened to me: At the time of booking, what was displayed on the ad was a single bed in a room for one person. However, when I got there, I was told that what I booked was a bed in a room with two bunk beds. I paid 48 eur (for a night) while at other hostels a bunk bed price for one night was 17 eur. The reception and the managers were not cooperative to amend the error. Be careful when you book at this accommodation. What they advertise is different from what you get when you reach there. And they do have this annoying electric plug which doesn't fit standard. I have to bend my laptop charger cable inappropriately to fit it in the socket. I have attached a picture below.
- Vlad (7/5): Good -
- L (8/5): Good for some days. - The shower, the silence around it, the security and the random cat. The bed was not really confortable with those weird bumps in it, the light in the bedroom made to much shadow because of double bed.
- Carolina (3/5): Not bad but not good either - It’s close to the airport and to the center of the city! Also the staff was really nice. The hot water didn’t work well and had to take cold showers almost every day. Also the property in general needs a renovation urgently… For the price we paid i think it should be at least a little bit better
- Tonny (1/5): Bad - Unclean toilets and bathroom. Dirty bedding
- Zeki (8/5): Very good -
- Johannes (1/5): in unison with others who stayed there: a catastrophe - Nothing apart from the fact, that I had did not have to sleep in the street, which comes close to this experience: this so-called hotel is a place that waits for demolition
The housekeeper did her best and offered her own fridge because that in the kitchen was dead in the sixties last century. This so-called hotel is a place that waits for demolition, meanwhile it is making money out-rageous for the damp, cold, non-existing aminities of modern life, especially in the bathroom. The kitchen worked if seeking refuge somewhere must suffice, the place to sit down was in a junk-yard, no way of sitting there, the room offered measured three sq-m with a bunkbed and one sq-m ability to move. There were another twelve people with whom to share toilet and a makeshift shower.
The housekeeper did her best and offered her own fridge because that in the kitchen was dead in the sixties last century.
- White (10/5): Exceptional - Easy to arrive, the instructions to arrive were sent promptly and everything was ready!
- Brady (10/5): Exceptional -

- Waswa (6/5): For the amount of money that was paid, this is a decent place to saty. - The caretaker was friendly and showed me around. And I was allowed to come back for my baggage later in the day. The heating in the room did not seem to work.
- Gypsy (5/5): Passable -
