• Shane (1/5): ABANDONED PROPERTY - DO NOT BOOK - We booked this property for 26 July 25 for one night but on arriving at the property we realised that it had been abandoned for considerable time with overgrown gardens and a slimy green swimming pool. We have not received a refund and we have been unable to contact the property owners or received a response from booking.com.
• Quentin (1/5): Personne.... - Les propriétaires n'étaient pas au rendez-vous du check-in. De l'extérieur, on pouvait voir que la Maison était vide (déménagée ?). La piscine était verte et le jardin n'avait pas été entretenu depuis des mois. De toute évidence, les propriétaires ne sont plus en mesure de louer le bien, et ce depuis un moment, mais il reste malgré tout des annonces, ce qui est crapuleux.
• Gayelene (1/5): We didn’t stay and I have lost hundreds of dollars should be removed from booking.com - False advertising, took my money for 2 nights but I wasn’t able to contact anyone or stay there. No response to messages and number disconnected The pool was green and dirty, there were cobwebs in the doors indicating no one has been there for a long time

• Victor (8/5): Very good - The accommodation itself was very modern and comfortable. We stayed in the self catering appartment and enjoyed the privacy of having our own patio and lawn. We enjoyed too the availability of the swimming pool which was kept clean for the guests. We saw no permanent staff during the four nights we stayed, and we were only met by a caretaker who handed over the key. Being self catering, we expected to be able to use the cooking hob which despite many attempts to operate it, turned out to be faulty. Writing to the owner, it was explained that the hob was a little tricky to operate and that I should try a particular combination of controls. This did not help and the problem was not resolved. Either a guide on how to operate the cooker or a follow up by the owner would have been useful. This property has a lot of potential but the garden was not so well tended and there was a small pile of stony sand in front of the entry door, probably left from some repair work. With these comments, I feel that the property was overpriced and that it was now being run off season.

• Sibert (9/5): Relaxing stay in perfect comfort with all facilities. - The facilities were excellent, with a nice refreshing pool, a nice modern industrial interior mixed with some authentic furniture pieces. All needed luxury present, with a spacious room with dressing. Although we did not use it as we had a one night stay. Multiple terras options to enjoy a beverage outside in the sun or the shadow. The service by the personnel was perfect and also in very well spoken English. And also very necessary to address is the €20/p breakfast which was above standard even for a restaurant serving brunches. Didn't have such an excellent breakfast/brunch in a long long time. Lots to eat, pancakes, fruit salad, cheeseboard, croissant, and other pastries. Coffee and orange juice, if the orange juice would have been home made it would have been an eleven out of ten. The room could use fly screens on the windows as there is no airconditioning which quickly makes you open the windows. The sunshades do not block out all sunlight from entering the room. So you do get a natural sunlight alarm clock in the morning. One large shower towel was missing as we had but one, where we stayed as a couple. And one of the dressing cabinets had a boxershort in it from the previous guest. Tommy Hilfiger, just my size, passed on the opportunity non the less. 😉 Now this makes it sound as if there were a lot of negatives.. but in fact we didn't really experience these as big negatives. More like small remarks. We didn't have musquito's in the room at night, and we had to get up anyway in the morning. There were more than enough smaller towels present to help ourselves. The boxer short remains unfortunate, but accidents happen in the best of places. And as a tip, acces to a bit of fridge space would be handy as well.

• Jane (8/5): Was perfect for what I needed and better than I was anticipating - Quietness, woodland views, modern apartment, beautifully comfortable bed. A guide to how things worked in the room . I didn’t get the tv to work and the lighting, fans for bathroom were a bit guesswork. The owner was very helpful but I spoke little french and he spoke little English . Some written guidelines could be useful.
• Laura (5/5): Passable - Very nice located between a wonderful green landscape. Modern furnitures and very good breakfast Toilet was outside of our room. And everyone could use our toilet which also happened. The toilet was very dirty because of the fact. We wanted to pay our breakfast with cash but the owner was not able to give money back. He wanted us to drive to Dinant (9km away) to pick up the right amount of money from the bank. Lucky that this was in the end not necessary because we found in the car smaller banknotes

• Steven (9/5): Excellent - A superb place, just a few minutes from the highway overlooking a small valley. Bernard served us an excellent breakfast with wide choice of bread, cheeses and eggs. Our room did have a very nice private bathroom en suite, but without toilet. The toilet was on a different floor. However, it was private and clean.
• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Cool location, out in the Belgian countryside, quiet, and dark at night. The breakfast was over the top, Bernard is a professional chef. Fresh fruit, scrambled eggs (perfect for me), breads, and an awesome cheese platter. Hard to say, wished we had stayed another night. The toilet is not in the room with the bathroom but it was our own toilet (each room had its own). It was just something different.
