We loved how cosy the place was, the gardens are beautiful, the space is welcoming and warm. Kitchenette facilities were well thought out and perfect for our requirements. Claw foot bath was a lovely addition and the shower was the best I have had for years!

The gardens were gorgeous; the room was lovely; the bed comfortable; and the welcome bottle of bubbly was greatly appreciated. Thank you :-) The only slight inconvenience was the lack of bench space in the bathroom. We were in Maleny for a wedding and I did a bit of juggling with my hairdryer and make up bag. Not a major issue, though.

• Noel (8/5): Good stay while enjoying local sites and dining experiences. - The property has a prominent location and is well suited for enjoying Maleny town and surroundings. Queens Chalet is a roomy cottage style unit with comfortable fit out and furnishings. It’s old style with modern conveniences. The mattress is comfortable but recommended to bring your pillow. The lack of work surface was challenging. Making continental breakfast was difficult with the limited bench area. Not having a sink and having to visit the bathroom for water - water jug can only be filled from the bath. We met with the other residents who showed us their amenities and they were fully provisioned. The bathroom particularly the shower is showing water issues with the shower wet seal broken and the architrave rotting. This is evident from the WC. The AC sounds like it’s raining when on.

• Ann (9/5): Relaxing, scenic & beautiful - A beautiful house with an impressive glass atrium like ceiling. Large open plan, and generous size bedrooms. Lovely outlook on all sides. Plenty of parking too. There were no blinds on the arched windows in the lounge area, which meant you couldn't sit in the loung in the afternoons as the sun came streaming in very strongly. It would be great to have a second shower as it is a 3 bedroom accommodation.

We regularly stay at places where little things are broken, but everything was well loved and in tiptop condition. From the super comfy bed, fresh milk on arrival, bottle of champagne, the coffee machine, fresh towels, private entry, great shower head, separate parking space and even umbrellas at the door, we thoroughly recommend the Queens Chalet for a single/couple's getaway in a comfy studio flat.
