• Ana (10/5): - Close to the train/bus stations.Cozy and quiet neighbourhood The fact that you had to get out from the bedroom to go to the bathroom.Other than that,everything was pretty okay. Sarah was very polite and available if anything needed.

• Anna (1/5): Choose something else - The only good thing about this place was the location. It's quite an old house for such a price and actually I wouldn't be so upset about it if it was not about the host. We stayed for two days and on the day of our checkout there was no hot water. I texted the host, no one replied, then I called, no one picked up. Then I called booking.com. They managed to reach the host and she told that I never texted/called and that there WAS hot water. Which is straightforward lie, I have all the screenshots with the time of my message and call BEFORE calling booking. In the end we couldn't use the shower and left since the checkout time is 10 am. At 11:06 she replied and said that someone was coming to chek. For real?! It was after the cheout time and we had already left. The host didn't like my reply and accused me of leaving the room in bad conditions which is again a lie. I always make detailed videos of hotel rooms before leaving them. She said, that I just had to restart the boiler but how should I know that? There were no instructions and she didn't reply to my messages on time. She again didn't like my reply and this time accused me of being rude to the cleaning lady, which again was a lie. And the cherry on top - she said, quote "if this is the mood you get for a minor inconvenience, I suggest you avoid vacations". Oh really? I paid 150 euros per night and couldn't even take a shower. Not to mention awful quality of towels and the fact that our bathroom was actually separated from the room through a common corridor and no slippers were offered.

• Alejandra (10/5): - La ubicación excelente, estaba en una zona no tan turística, a 15 minutos caminando de la estación de tren. El baño estaba un poco alejado del dormitorio, si bien era un baño privado, se encuentra en una zona compartida...lo cual en la noche es incómodo.
• Lucrezia (5/5): Disponibilità richiesta, ma non ricambiata - La zona è adorabile e Venezia bellissima. Il bagno in camera è nuovo e confortevole, la stanza grande e arredata con quanto necessario. Non è stato possibile lasciare i bagagli, nemmeno in un angolino, dopo il check-out. Sono stata avvertita di lavori alla caldaia durante una mattinata, ma quando sono rientrata ho scoperto che i lavori prevedevano l’ingresso alla mia stanza senza che nessuno mi avesse avvertito. Le porte delle stanze sono un po’ vecchie e non danno l’impressione di solidità. Il Wi-Fi non prende bene in stanza. Il mio telefono non riusciva ad agganciarsi, il computer saltava. Non si può usare la cucina.

• Stanimira (7/5): Good location and value for money - Good location and value for money considering Venice is quite expensive. We were able to check in earlier and leave our luggage. The room was a good size and had air conditioning. There was also access to the kitchen and a big fridge. We also found the small yard outside of the door very charming. No TV in the room and the bathroom was separate although we liked how big it was.

Everything was perfect — the place was very clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the location is excellent, close to the city center and easy to reach all the main attractions. The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay, and it really feels like a home away from home. The host is wonderful — very kind, communicative, and always ready to help, which made our experience even better. We felt very welcome and safe, and the overall atmosphere was warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the city, and I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

• Oprea (9/5): Very cozy, felt like a familiar house - The location was perfect. It’s within 15-20 min walk from everything. The canals nearby were super nice. There’s a supermarket & a sandwich shop nearby. You have a cozy kitchen where you could prepare some breakfast if you wanted (we didn’t, but it’s a possibility). The bed was very nice, spacious & firm and perfect for sleeping. While the room its a bit dark because the natural light is blocked by the buildings nearby, it felt very cozy & I imagine in the summer it’s just right. The room has 2 windows facing the street where everyone walk by & even if it’s a quiet area, you hear everyone walking on the street. The room was pretty cold (we were there the first days of January) and the radiators didn’t work, but the host informed us to turn on the AC on the heating mode. It was nice while it was on, but once you turned it off when you went to bed the room would get cold again. I didn’t particularly mind it, because I like the cold, but my friend suffered a bit because of that.

• Artur Ogonowski (8/5): Cicha spokojna okolica w pobliżu atrakcji Wenecji - Lokalizacja w cichej i spokojnej dzielnicy, skąd wszędzie można dotrzeć na piechotę. Z dala od zgiełku i tłumu turystów, blisko kafejek i restauracji przeznaczonych raczej dla lokalnych mieszkańców - a zatem nie tylko smacznych, ale i tanich. 5 min. piechotą do przystanku Vaporetto, tak samo jak do Piazzale Roma, który jest głównym punktem wjazdu do miasta dla samochodów oraz autobusów i mieści się kilka kroków od Canal Grande i dworca PKP. W apartamencie nie jesteśmy sami, więc dzielimy kuchnię i przedpokój z innymi turystami, nie ma więc całkowitej intymności.

• Abbigail (10/5): A Charming Stay in the Heart of Venice. - A charming stay in the Heart of Venice. We loved our time at Dorsoduro House! Tucked away in one of Venice's quieter and more charming neighborhoods, this little gem offered the perfect balance of peace and proximity. The room was beautifully kept, clean and cozy—ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was fantastic: close enough to walk to all the main sights, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds. Dorsoduro itself feels like the real Venice, with lovely canals, local cafes and a calm atmosphere that made our stay extra special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, authentic and comfortable base in Venice.

Sarah was helpful and gave us all the necessary information for a smooth check-in. The location was perfect for us. It is in a quiet area of the city, easily accesible from the main train/bus station and also close to the main Venice attractions. We had an amazing stay here and can wholeheartedly recommend anyone to choose this location.

• Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional - A very cozy home! Huge thanks to the host for allowing me to check in early—they were always responsive and helpful. The house is warm, well-equipped, with a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the station, easy to reach even with luggage. The neighborhood is quiet, away from tourist crowds, with a nearby store and lovely cafés for breakfast and lunch. A very pleasant stay, and the Wi-Fi was great!

The host, Sarah, was very kind and super communicative! The bedroom was much colder than the rest of the property (corridor, kitchen, and bathroom). There were lots of random items in the kitchen cupboards but no cookware! We would’ve liked to use the stovetop.

• Emma (6/5): Clean, easy walking distance, felt like a local - Good location. Far enough out of town to not be too busy but easy walking distance to main sites. Aircon was very good. Nice and clean. Host was easy to contact and would reply immediately. Checked in with me throughout the stay too. Bathroom was separate to the bedroom which made it a bit hard to go to the bathroom without running into the other guests. Bit of noise from the path outside as a local pub nearby.

• Martindeyanov (5/5): A room right in the heart of Venice :) - The location is absolutely divine. It is very close to everything - the railway station, the city bus station, the Grand Canal, the local cafes, a well-stocked local supermarket. If the location is your priority, this place is for you. Another plus is the fact, the room has a small and cute inner court :) The wifi doesn’t work at all in the room as the signal is terribly poor (obviously the router is too far away). Even though there were two anti-mosquito gadgets in the room, mosquitoes ate me alive every night. For some reason there are no nets on the windows. Honestly speaking, visiting Venice in the summer is a disaster - too much hot and humid at the same time. Alas, the lack of an air-conditioner is a huge problem. The kitchen is okay only for using the fridge.

Everything was very clean both in the room and in the bathroom, and the location is extremely close to the center in a quiet area. The host was very prompt every time and responded immediately to our requests, which I greatly appreciated. There was absolutely no negative point

• Ellie (6/5): You get what you pay for - You get what you pay for - when looking at the price we paid compared to other properties in the area, you have to be understanding of the property. The property was in a good and quiet location. The bed was comfy and the room was very spacious. If you want to stay in Venice for a cheap price, I recommend this place but keep your expectations quite low. The walls are very thin and the upstairs neighbours were very loud and sometimes caused issues when trying to sleep. Luckily we found some earplugs. We also didn’t realise that the bathroom was outside the room in the hall where other people could potentially get access as it wasn’t locked. The lock on the bathroom also definitely needs upgrading as the chain on the lock is very long. My boyfriend locked the door and I tried to see if I could open it and I could very easily stick my arm through the gap and unlock it. This wouldn’t have been an issue if there wasn’t another guest on the same floor but it felt quite unsettling when trying to shower.

The location is perfect, tou could feel that you are part of domestic Italian life, non tourists area will put you more into Italy. There is small supermarket near by ,cheap and great selection. The apartment has smart lock that why it make your arriving time so flexible... The bed was soo good I was sleeping as a baby after long walks in the city. Yhank you soo much ! Will come for sure next time only to your accommodation.
• Daniela (5/5): Not worth the price - The room and bathroom were renovated, and the room was comfortable and well equipped to leave your clothes and other belongings. It had a small terrace (with no view) good enough to have a wine and snacks outside. Location wasn’t good in my opinion, as you have to walk 30 minutes to go to the center where more touristic things are (piazza San Marco, Palacio Ducal, etc). Therefore, you can’t just ‘go home’ for lunch or rest and then continue sightseeing. Be prepared for a whole day outside before heading back. Also, cooking wasn’t possible (apparently a Venice regulation on touristic accommodations); there was a non-working kitchen, but sadly there wasn’t a microwave or electric oven to warm up prepared food, pizza etc. The wifi didn’t work in our room, so I could only use it from the kitchen, and the bed only had two sleeping pillows, no extra ones for seating in the bed and read for example. I don’t think the place is worth the price honestly. I think you can find much better options for some extra euros.
• Claudio (7/5): Convenient accomodation in Venice. - Residencial area with market and other conviniences close by. The bed was too soft. The shower very tight and not much water pressure. The wi-fi conection did not worked at all.
• Mari (6/5): Pleasant - We stayed for two nights - it’s an old house without air conditioning, clean and safe. The location was okay, close to the bus station. As it was very hot during our stay in Venice, the humidity was very high and so our bedsheets were a bit damp. And as it’s an old house, you could hear your neighbours.

• Jessie (6/5): Great location, just check in with hosts about room details! - Great location in Venice with a comfortable bed. A nice amount of space in the room and air conditioning was great! Room looked different to photos. There was no sideboard or couch, bed frame and art is all different. They need to update their listing as it does not look like the pictures - or at least include a note about how they are changing some things so that customer expectations are managed. We were disappointed. No wifi connection was available either though this was due to a network problem in Venice - there were technicians at the property looking into it the day we checked out.

• Noelia (5/5): Passable - Location was good, walking distance to the train station and the neighbourhood was nice, quiet but near a big piazza with a nice atmosphere. Although I did not meet the owners, the communication was good and fast. The damp smell of the room, nowhere to dry the towels, the wifi in the bedroom was weak, the bed was uncomfortable (you could feel the springs), on the last day there was no hot water (took a cold shower). It is a noisy building as you could hear a lot the people staying upstairs (talking, moving chairs, flushing the toilet...)
