Tuve unas cuantas dudas antes de ir y me puse en contacto con el alojamiento de todas las formas posibles y en ninguna recibí respuesta. Pero eso sí, el único mensaje que recibí por su parte fue que antes de irme tenía que dejar el dinero del impuesto municipal en la mesa de la habitación. Por lo que si alguna vez pasa algo te vas a encontrar solo sin que te puedan ayudar. Lamentable...

• Serafino (5/5): Non aprite quella porta (se possibile) - L'hotel si trova a 2 passi dalla fermata San Zaccaria/San Marco, in un vicoletto molto tranquillo e facilmente raggiungibile. Oltre ad essere estremamente centrale è vicino a molti punti per fare colazione o un aperitivo. La stanza era abbastanza insonorizzata e godeva di un affaccio sul campanile di San Marco. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo inserito il codice per aprire il portone principale, come ci era stato indicato. Appena entrati ci ha "accolto" un uomo che parlava solo in spagnolo. Notando delle chiavi di una stanza sul tavolo, abbiamo chiesto se fossero le nostre e lui ha risposto più volte: "No sabe" (probabilmente questa persona non era nemmeno uno dello staff bensì un altro cliente che forse stava per andarsene, dato che aveva dei bagagli con sé). Una volta prese le chiavi (che alla fine erano le nostre perché erano poggiate sulla nostra ricevuta per il pagamento della tassa di soggiorno), abbiamo preso le scale: la prima rampa era completamente buia poiché l'interruttore era posizionato in cima a quest'ultima e la moquette era danneggiata e logora. Per tutte le scale si sentiva odore di umidità. La nostra stanza era situata al quinto piano (senza ascensore). Per quanto riguarda la pulizia ordinaria (pulizia del bagno, letto e tavolo), le condizioni della stanza erano abbastanza accettabili: tuttavia la struttura è molto datata e in particolare la moquette sul pavimento e la carta da parati sul muro avrebbero bisogno di un rinnovo. Un'altra nota negativa della stanza è sicuramente il balconcino presente: la porta per accedervi non ha la maniglia e quindi risulta ostico sia aprirla che, naturalmente, chiuderla (noi ci siamo dovuti aiutare con un coltello). Essendo situata al quinto piano, la stanza risulta calda rispetto alla temperatura esterna, e inoltre abbiamo notato la presenza di qualche zanzara (in stanza era anche presente una racchetta per ucciderle): per noi questi non sono stati grandi problemi dal momento che abbiamo visitato la città a maggio, ma comunque immaginiamo che la situazione peggiori nei mesi estivi. Per concludere la recensione della stanza, la serratura sembrava non permettere di chiudere la porta a chiave.

Le scale hanno una moquette tutta sporca e rovinata. La camera è fatiscente, sporca e piena di macchie di sangue delle zanzare ammazzate sulle pareti. il piumone era vecchio, rovinato e sopratutto sporco. Non ho contattato la reception per manifestare questi problemi perché l'unica soluzione era fuggire da quell'albergo. Capisco che dalle foto, sembri carino, ma non è cosi nella realtà.

It's a couple blocks away from the Plaza San Marco and the main sites surrounding it and a block away from a busy street full of restaurants and tour agencies. Beware, you'll have to carry your luggage through several flights of narrow stairs as there is only 1-2 rooms per floor and about 5 floors. No elevator. The managers were very rude through the phone. We specified we would be arriving at night because of the train trip we found. When we arrived, there was 2 phone numbers pasted on the door (one for each manager I assume). The first one didn't pick up and the second one hung up almost immediately. After trying the second one again, he told us he wasn't the one in charge and to call the first number until he picked up. After quite some time outside the hotel in a empty street at night and with luggage, the manager from the first number picked up and gave us the code to enter the hotel. They were rude throughout the conversation and acted like we were inconveniencing them.

The hallway and stairs are indeed not very clean. And lots of mosquitos in the room so a machine against mosquito would be helpful
• Michaela (5/5): You’re only paying for the location, not comfort. - In terms of location it is an amazing spot. It’s right beside doges palace and the water buses which is great. If you are young and have no disability or trouble with stamina or your legs or if you really don’t care about the room and it’s just a place to sleep and shower for you then it is a decent spot. Also the balcony was nice enough too. Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights here. We were given the top floor which we had to climb 4 flights of stairs for. This wasn’t too bad because we are capable, but someone older might not be (there is no elevator).Another uncomfortable situation I found was when the landlord knocked on our door the second day there and demanded we let him in to fix one of the lights and the city tax (there is no reception or facilities). I would not have minded this but we did not receive an email informing us that he would need to do this and when we asked for a few minutes so we could get dressed to get food he tried to barge his way in. That made me uncomfortable. The walls here are very thin! I cannot stress that enough. When our neighbors put their key into their lock I thought they were trying to break into our room because it sounded like their key was in our door. As an anxious person and light sleeper this wasnt great for me. The water pressure in the shower was nonexistent but there was always hot water. We also had a lot of trouble with mosquitoes in the room. We have no idea where they were coming from since our windows and door had been closed, we woke up with bites everywhere. And lastly the pillows are so flat you might as well not be using any and the bed is so hard it feels like sleeping on the floor. And the cleanliness of the room isn’t something to marvel at either, the walls are not wallpapered, they are fabric and badly stained from god knows what and full of dust, which flies everywhere if you hit off them. If none of this bothers you and you’re looking for somewhere local then great! But you’re only really paying for the location, not comfort. I have not had a decent night sleep here since our first day and we only slept that night because we were exhausted from our flight. Venice is beautiful, this room definitely was not.

• lenolik19 (9/5): Viver Veneza intensamente - Fica no coração de Veneza, a poucos metros das principais atrações, numa rua estreita muito tranquila e silenciosa. É uma opção económica que correspondeu a todas as expectativas. A decoração antiga tem o seu charme e contribui para o ambiente típico veneziano. Ao abrir as janelas, notámos a presença de alguns mosquitos. Talvez a instalação de redes nas janelas fizesse uma grande diferença.

The light fixtures above the bed were broken off and exposed wires hanging above our bed. There is what appeared to be black mold growing in the bathroom.

• Alessandra (4/5): La posizione è L'UNICO suo pregio - La posizione è l'unica cosa bella All'arrivo la nostra chiave era con le altre chiavi delle altre camere sul tavolo alla "reception". Saliamo le scale fatiscenti con moquette macchiata e tutta rovinata come la tappezzeria. La camera è tappezzata di cadaveri di zanzare sul soffitto e sulle pareti. L'unica tenda ha diverse macchie vecchie che coprono un "balconcino" che usano come deposito/posacenere. Il bagno è da sistemare perché pieno di muffa. Cose rotte : lampadario in vetro, il doccino in doccia e il telecomando.

• Joaquín (7/5): Básicamente lo esperado - Si duda lo mejor fué la ubicación, pues estamos a 3 minutos de la Plaza de San Marcos. Estaba muy limpio y la habitación muy acogedora. Teníamos que subir 4 pisos sin ascensor, dato que no estaba especificado en la descripción. La cama se hundía del centro y con el dinero que cobran no cuesta nada invertir en un colchón y un somier nuevo.

• De filippis (4/5): DA NON RIPETERE - ottima la posizione, adiacente a Piazza San Marco, collegata benissimo con il cuore della città, pratica per spostamenti sia a piedi che in vaporetto. Note negative, a malincuore, ne sono presenti a bizzeffe. Cortesia: appena entrati le chiavi erano riposte su di un tavolino con una ricevuta di fianco sulla quale era riportata la richiesta di lasciare la tassa di soggiorno. Chiamo il proprietario, scortese nelle risposte a mio avviso, il quale mi dice che all’indomani avrei potuto lasciargli i soldi; visto neanche i giorni seguenti. Pulizia: sacchi bianchi con ricambio sporco (credo) posizionati all’entrata dell’alloggio, che per tutti e tre i giorni di soggiorno sono rimasti lì. Odore indescrivibile e moquette sulle scale sporca e malandata. Fortunatamente la camera non è stata così male, a parte il bagno e le lenzuola senza nessun odore piacevole. Inoltre, nessun tappetino per la doccia e nessun cambio asciugamani. Attenzione: non vi è alcuna attenzione al mantenimento della struttura; la nostra camera permetteva di usufruire di un piccolo terrazzino, il risultato? era stato adibito a deposito con armadio, sacche di terriccio sul pavimento e moscerini che ronzavano intorno. Televisione non funzionante, porta per accedere al terrazzo rotta. Per di più, l’ultima notte è stata un incubo tra caldo allucinante nonostante il condizionatore (e siamo ad aprile) e punture di insetti ancora non riconosciuti ma sicuramente che hanno arrecato molto fastidio. Per il resto, non aspettavo un trattamento lussuoso considerato il prezzo pagato (che comunque non era poco) ma sicuramente maggiore accortezza.

• Ιφιγενεια (5/5): - Είχε καθαρά σεντόνια και πετσέτες. Βρισκόταν στο ακριβώς δίπλα στενό απο τη γέφυρα των Στεναγμων και ειχε πάντα ζεστό νερό. Δωμάτιο μόνο για έναν ύπνο γενικά. Ζεστός χώρος, δεν κρυώσαμε, ειχε και κλιματιστικό για ζέστη/ ψύξη Σκόνη στο πάτωμα (πάρτε μαζί σας παντόφλες) , στο μπάνιο υπήρχε ενα χαλάκι (αμφιβόλου καθαριότητας) για να πατήσεις βγαίνοντας απο τη μπανιέρα. Δεν υπήρχε καθρέφτης στο μπάνιο. Γενικά ειναι για ένα ύπνο το δωμάτιο, τίποτα παραπάνω. Οποτε συγκριτικά μ'αυτα που κόστισε η διαμονή ηταν οκ.

Досить зручне велике ліжко. Одне невелике вікно у номері ,яке ні відривається. Душева кабіна з вікном( замурованим) та чорне( пліснява?) на стелі де душ.кабіна,але розумію, що це проблематика старої будівлі та взагалом Венеції.

• Filadelfio (1/5): ESPERIENZA DA NON RIFARE - Il soggiorno presso Casa Banon è stato purtroppo un’esperienza davvero pessima, ben al di sotto di qualsiasi aspettativa. La pulizia è il problema principale: i bagni erano sporchi e poco curati, cosa assolutamente inaccettabile. Anche la stanza lasciava molto a desiderare, con un livello di igiene davvero scarso che ha reso il soggiorno tutt’altro che piacevole. Inoltre, la struttura è estremamente scomoda: è praticamente impossibile uscire e muoversi con facilità, il che rende tutto ancora più frustrante. Nel complesso, un’esperienza negativa sotto quasi ogni aspetto. Non lo consiglierei assolutamente e sicuramente non ci tornerei

Staff: un po' caotici all'arrivo non parlando bene l'italiano ma comunque estremamente disponibili Bagno: strettino e datato Finestre: l'unica finestra presente in camera non poteva essere aperta, arieggiare la stanza al risveglio non sarebbe male...

• Rocío (1/5): NO RECOMIENDO ESTE LUGAR - Absolutamente nada de este alojamiento, no lo recomiendo!!!! Sucio, mal colchón, nada sirve ( A/C, TV) Las cerraduras de las puertas se caen, la cama pica, sientes inseguridad. La peor experiencia de alojamiento de viaje!!
• Romina (5/5): Para pasar una noche no está mal - Lugar relativamente central, ya que cualquier ubicación sirve estando en Venecia. El lugar no es como en las fotos, está bastante abandonado y deteriorado, la puerta del baño tiene la chapa rota, las camas no están en muy buen estado, el control del aire condicionado no funcionaba bien, la pantalla de la tv al rato de utilizarla se ponía negra. Nunca hubo gente que te recibiera, no había recepción, por lo que solo podías comunicarte por la app. Y las escaleras bastante angostas, por lo que si vas con maleta es difícil subirlas (hubo gente que las dejó abajo)
