• Keith (9/5): Quiet, welcoming and comfortable - Comfortable, quiet. Helpful owners. Owners had left us some lovely cereal for breakfast. Felt a very safe place to stay. Close to the beach, nature reserves and the Tuart Trail. Booking.com said that there was a washing machine and drier available for our use, but these were locked. However, we contacted the owners (who were away) and they arranged for these to be unlocked for us. They also provided washing powder as a bonus!

• Maggie (7/5): - Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und wohnte direkt nebenan, was den Kontakt unkompliziert und angenehm gemacht hat. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend mit Einfamilienhäusern, was wir als sehr entspannt empfunden haben. Die Wohnung war einfach und funktional, vor allem aber wirklich sehr sauber. Für eine kurze Übernachtung war alles Nötige vorhanden und für unseren Z weck gut geeignet. Die Unterkunft ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Besonders die Küchenmöbel wirken bereits deutlich abgenutzt, und es gab einen leichten Geruch nach „alt“ in der Wohnung. Eine Klimaanlage ist nicht vorhanden, es stand lediglich ein Ventilator zur Verfügung. Gerade im Sommer in Westaustralien könnte das schnell unangenehm werden. Die Küche ist zudem auf zwei getrennte Räume aufgeteilt, was das Kochen etwas umständlich macht. Für uns war das kein großes Problem, da wir nicht gekocht haben, sollte aber für Gäste relevant sein, die die Küche intensiver nutzen möchten.

It can accommodate 4 people but the other room is a living room as well so it - The best thing about this place is that it was very clean and tidy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The beach is just down the road (a 5 minute walk) and there are plenty of walking paths and green public areas. Although you have your own entry/exit and rooms, toilet bathroom, laundry etc. the back yard is shared with the owners as the house has been split for BnB accommodation. All necessities were met. Although there was no kitchen sink, the laundry sink accommodated for that.

Hier kann man länger bleiben. Gerne wieder. Es war Winter und echt kalt. Was für ein Glück, dass das Bett Heizdecken hat!

• Ildikó (10/5): Exceptional - The guest suite is located in a really quiet area, two blocks from a pristine beach. All the action in Bunbury is a 10-15 min drive away. The apartment is squeaky clean and well equipped with kitchen utensils, amenities, maps, etc. The owner is nice and has some good travel tips. It was the best price-value ratio I could find for a family of 4. I recommend this place.

• Karen (10/5): Fabulous! - It has everything you could need when travelling - a home away from home! They are pet friendly which was essential for us as we came to Bunbury for a dog show. They are well set up with a fully fenced grassed back yard and even had water bowls, poo bags and a poo bin! So they really do care and understand what dogs need! Nothing - it’s fantastic! We have stayed here before and have already booked ahead to stay again in a few months!

Leoni made South African rusks, which was a new experience that we enjoyed very much. The bed was comfortable, and it was very clean and tidy, a home away from home. Thank you, Leoni and Doug for your amazing hospitality and references to places we could eat or visit during our stay, we will definitely be back. At first, we didn't have access to the washing machine, but this was quickly rectified by our wonderful hosts.
• Neil (6/5): It was a little disappointing but no major issues. Perhaps lacked some attention to detail. - It was OK for just 2 nights. The hosts were friendly, plenty of dishes and various appliances, bed was OK, reasonable space for two. Washing machine and dryer were handy. It was more like a homely Granny flat. Air Conditioner was controlled by host. No remote control for TV, so couldn't use online functions. Internet was unreliable anyway, so had to use phone data. No sink in kitchenette, so washed dishes in laundry trough.
• Peter (1/5): Unsatisfactory - The stay did not happen yet we had paid 201 dollars. The ad says you can cancel but full cost? t did not respond to our attempts to raise him at site after 2pm. Left 2 phone messages but he rang back 4hr later. . Too late. Why does this host say available from 3pm when everyone else is 2pm? I had my ill brother with me and we had to find urgent alternate accomodation at cost of 196 dollars. An expensive and stressful night. As above. I am seeking a refund to be able to retain some confidence in the process at booking.com

• Alida (8/5): Great place to stay a night or two - Douglas is a great host. He is very welcoming and went through everything in the guest suite. It's beautiful and clean, and lots of little extras are provided; coffee pod machine, filtered water, couple of chocolates, bathroom products, etc. The bed was really comfortable with good quality linen and it's in a very quiet location

Douglas and Leonie were really friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The accommodation was extremely clean and well equiped! Super comfy beds and great bathroom with bath for our kids! Nice fenced backyard for our little pooch. Close to beach shops and eateries. Highly recommend we will be back!

• Sara (9/5): great! - Kind and thoughtful hosts, lovely bathroom, including fluffy towels, shampoo and cotton swabs. walking distance (through a park) to the beach with bbq. Quiet. II wouldnt say I didnt like it, but it was a litle suboptimal that the kitchen was divided into two rooms, making cooking slightly more inconvenient than the layout of a normal kitchen. But, considering that the accomodation was lower price than many other in the area, this was fully satisfactory, and we bbqed at the beach or ate out most meals, so it didnt matter.
