Tiene una linda vista desde el comedor hacia el mar. La playa en el mismo lugar, aunque no sea la mejor, es algo que se valora. En la pieza faltaba algún perchero o lugar para colgar las cosas que van quedando mojadas. El resto todo bien.

Yo tuve un inconveniente con mis documentos y fueron muy serviciales y atentos para ayudarme a resolver. En el día a día también...... amabilidad, atención, predisposición. Se podría mejorar un poco en acceso a la playa, principalmente para adultos mayores, como por ejemplo un pasamanos. Lo mismo en la piscina, los escalones de acceso son muy altos. Son detalles para personas adulta con un poco de dificultad para moverse.

- Luna (10/5): Un séjour reposant dans un lieu charmant - L’endroit est très reposant. Le seul bruit qu’on entend est celui des vagues. L’emplacement est super, avec vue et accès direct à la plage qui mène en moins de 10 minutes directement à la rue centrale (rua das Pedras). Le personnel de la pousada était très accueillant, serviable, attentif et bienveillant. Les recommandations d’excursions et de restaurants étaient toutes bonnes et nous ont permis de découvrir différents lieux de la région. Nous avons eu un souci lors d’une location de véhicule et le personnel a tout fait pour arranger la situation. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment délicieux et varié, avec des jus frais du matin, des gâteaux, tapiocas… Nous y avons passé une semaine et aurions aimé y rester plus longtemps. Rien ne nous a manqué.

Se pasan de bohemios a viejo y húmedo , la canilla de la ducha se me cayó en el pié, la del inodoro de desarmaba , el piso de madera es tan oscuro , y al caminar descalzo , nos dimos cuenta que estaba todo sucio . La playa , mide 5 mts MÁXIMO de ancho , por lo tanto a las 11 sube la marea y no que da nada, imposible de disfrutar si hay aunque sea muy poco viento . Por más onda que le ponen los empleados , no va !

I can start by saying that the property is stunning, a true postcard. When we arrived Terto made us feel at home and while checking us in we were served some delicious caipirinha. The hotel is very unique with tasteful decor, and exceptional cleanliness, the location is perfect, steps away from the beach and a 5-minute walk to Rua das Pedras where you can find everything from beautiful restaurants, boutiques, and souvenir shops. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom and stunning views of Praia do Canto. The hotel offers a delicious breakfast, à la carte service with a variety of typical Brazilian cuisine, and at the front desk you can book wonderful day trips and other services. So I can wait to come back because Villa Bela-Emilia became my home away from home and their staff Pricilla, Terto, Pedro, Guilherme, Thiago, Claudia, Suani, Cauã, Fabiana, Rodrigo, Thiago 2 and Luciana became part of my family! Tudo muito antigo e precisando de reparos, alguns urgentes. Praia ótima, mas como é inclinada, fica difícil fazer caminhadas. O café da manhã e o cafezinho da tarde estavam ótimos.

I got the feeling the owner/manager kept a fear based regime on their employees. The way they said they had to check the room before i left ruined my total experience. They should say something like "let us check the room so we are certain you did not leave anything behind" or similar.

- Leonidas (8/5): Beautiful and cosy accomodation, literally on the beach! - Very cosy and comfortable rooms. Excellent location, situated just 5 minutes on foot from the center of Buzios. There is also private access to the beach, which is literally just in front of the hotel. This part of the beach is calm, in contrast to the noisy and busy part closer to the center of the village. The staff is very friendly, kind and helpful, and speaks good english. The decoration and furniture in the room is rather dated, and could use some minor repairs. Also, the windows were lacking proper insulation, while the air conditioning unit was rather noisy.

- Pohle (6/5): Overrated Pousada in perfect location - Perfect location, 5 min walk from Rua das Pedras and straight at the beach. Cosy decoration of the Pousada. Comfortable beds Totally overrated pousada. In booking.com we booked a „Deluxe Suite“ that turned out to be a „half below soil“ located simple room (the pousada calls it „Solar“). In booking the pics are placed like it has a Terrasse with chair, in reality your room window is at floor level, all people walking to the beach pass by. Even having mirrored windows it feels uncomfortable to stay inside with everybody looking inside. Also opening the window invites all type of bugs to come in (we found some examples when we came to our next hotel in Rio). The bath room is completely outdated and falling into pieces, opening the tap pumps water in waves with an weird noise. The breakfast was ok, but often items were missing and not replaced anymore once consumed. On two mornings no Pao de Queijo was available and upon asking, the answer was „it takes 40 min to make it“. on the first day I ordered fried eggs which never came, but staff keeps telling how they want to make your stay special. Deck chairs on the terrace (only 3 for all guests) are like from the 70‘s, and very uncomfortable. The management offered us to cancel our reservation, but in high season there is no other place to go on a short hand. Also they send us a bottle of bubbles, as this could change the status quo. It should be mentioned in the hotel description that it is primarily a FAMILY place, so kids all around and for a romantic couple like us not the right place. So this stay was not to our satisfaction and we think that the rating in booking does not reflect the reality.
