Lai iebrauktu un izbrauktu nav pat jāizkāpj no mašīnas, apmaksu var veikt tieši caur mašīnas logu. Bez tam gandrīz visi nozīmīgākie apskates objekti atrodas īsas pastaigas attālumā. Pati pilsēta gleznaina, visiem iesaku apmeklēt. Mūsu numura visi četri logi bija vērsti pret upi, ar skatu uz Rātsnamu un Veco bīskapu pili. Viesnīcas durvis atradām tikai pateicoties citu tūristu norādēm. Viesnīcā nav personāla, uz manu telefonu nosūtītais ieejas durvju kods bija nepilnīgs. Nācās zvanīt saimniecei. Viesnīcas darbiniece ieradās apmēram desmit minūšu laikā, visu paskaidroja un parādija. Mazliet traucēja celtnieku sastatnes pie blakusmājas, bet tā nav viesnīcas vaina.

• jaap (10/5): Excellent location, service and rooms. - Location is super. Nice terrace facing the old townhouse. Lots of great restaurants and bakeries close by. It's pretty much all you can want. We rented all 4 rooms with friends. Great time and experience. Nothing was bad. You are at the heart of things. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs.

• Daniel (9/5): Top Bamberg Aufenthaltsort - Die sehr zentrale lage der Unterkunft ist wirklich top. Sehr sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Immer wieder gern. Falls man jemand ist der in der Unterkunft gern fehrsehen sieht ist das Programm sehr dürftig. Aber fern schauen tut man ja üblicherweise zu haus.

• Annette (10/5): - Die Lage des Gästehauses ist einmalig, aus unserem Zimmerfenster könnten wir direkt auf das 'Alte Rathaus sehen'. Bahnhof und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten Bambergs waren leicht fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Betten waren außerordentlich bequem und das moderne , mit Liebe ausgestattete Badezimmer war toll. Die Dame, die uns empfing war überaus nett, half uns mit Prospekten, gab uns Wegbeschreibungen, Tipps und Bier aus der Umgebung zur Begrüßung. Das tollste aber war der liebevoll ausgestattete Balkon am/über dem Fluss, der mit einem separaten Schlüssel für Mieter zugänglich war. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen! Keinerlei negative Kritik

• Petra (10/5): Zauberhafte Unterkunft - Vom ersten Moment des Eintreffens waren wir verzaubert von dieser außergewöhnlichen Örtlichkeit. Es war alles perfekt. Das Zimmer mit dem wunderschönen Namen "Zaubergarten", war von unseren Gastgeberinnen mit so viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet, dass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben.... Hinzu kam noch die grandiose Aussicht aus den Fenstern .... Alles rundum perfekt. Da gab es garnichts

• Claudia (8/5): Abzocke beim Parken während der Gepäckausladung - Das Gästehaus liegt perfekt für eine Stadterkundung Bambergs, alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir hatten ein sehr ansprechendes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Blick auf das Alte Rathaus und die Regnitz. Das hat uns sehr gefallen und wir würden hier auch bei einem nächsten Besuch wieder übernachten wollen. Da das Gästehaus direkt in der Altstadt liegt, ist das Parken ein Problem. Darauf waren wir durch die Besitzerin vorbereitet. Es hieß, wir könnten zum Ausladen kurz (10 Minuten) vor das Haus vorfahren und dann das Auto in der Altstadt Citygarage abstellen. Das haben wir gemacht. Da es im Haus keinen Aufzug gibt, wir auch nicht mehr so ganz die Jüngsten sind und sich unser Zimmer in der 2.Etage befand, waren wir nach 11 Minuten wieder beim Auto und hatten ein Knöllchen über 55 Euro an der Scheibe. Es schien uns so, als hätte uns jemand vom Parküberwachungsdienst beobachtet und nur darauf gewartet, dass wir im Haus verschwinden, um das Knöllchen anzubringen. Das nennen wir Abzocke, so geht man nicht mit zahlenden Gästen um. Leider waren sowohl die Kontaktperson im Haus als auch bei der Stadt Bamberg wenig kooperativ oder entgegenkommend. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt in Bamberg getrübt.

Entouré des plus beaux coins de la ville, splendide vue, chambre très accueillante. Place de parc à deux minutes à pied, les meilleurs petits déjeuners également On a cherché l'hôtel, le nom de l'établissement n'est pas marqué côté rue.

• Tara (8/5): Pricey but nice - Review on behalf of LeeLee : the property is very difficult to find even local businesses were not aware of its existence. There is no sign. Property owner should use the bar/restaurent as a landmark for guests to find it, especially guests coming from abroad. German guests also struggled with getting into the property once they found it. My room is very good for one person. I am grateful for the helpful & friendly cleaning staff. However we had no information regarding breakfast. All information inside the property is in German only. How difficult is it to translate? Location is excellent. Service was impersonal. Receptionist present only early in the mornings if at all we got no help in orientation or local information. Duvet is a bit small and i am not tall. On my booking.com reservation it states checking out time until 11:30, yet I received a knock at the door at 10:15 on the last day! I liked the kettle and herbal teas, plain tea, coffee and milk would have been great! Expect to hear the night revellers till late, espcially during the weekend but that cannot be helped. Now i know this beautiful city, i know where to stay.

The owners should have considetation for foreign tourists, in the instruction to find the place. We had a good room size and a stunning view. We enjoyed the beautiful city and the lovely and considerate German hospitality in Bamberg. Unfortunately our beds were squeeky and noisy everytime we turned it made a noise. So we did not have restful sleep in the 5 nights we stayed. We loved the kettle and the fridge but only herbal teas. Coffee would have been appreciated. According to our reservation with booking.com, checking out is until 11:30. We received a knock on the door at 10:15! We felt like we are being hurried to leave! Cleaner could have easily checked if we had checked out or not, by checking the key safe.

• Ben (4/5): The town itself is lovely. Had some good food and drinks but would avoid the hotel next time - Great location on the river No staff at reception . No staff in restaurant . Well restaurant looked like it hadn’t been open for some time .. no bell on desk , had to walk around looking for someone to book us in went upstairs found the owner on her phone in a corridor. She grunted at me that she will be down in a minute. Also there was junk everywhere. I think people were bringing jumble sale stuff in . I really couldn’t work it out .. then she took us across the road to another part to the hotel where our rooms were . Had a great view of the famous building on the bridge ..
• Alexander (8/5): Wonderful location in old historic building. - Location of the Brudermuhle was wonderful. Facilities were old, but clean and functional. The shower in our room would overflow everytime, there was nothing keeping the water from hitting the floor....Everything was good...the restaurant was wonderful. I wish we had a coffee machine, or wasserkocher for early risers....would be nice to have a cup of coffee early before breakfast. Wished for a coffee machine in the room...the shower sprayed on the floor.

• Susan (10/5): Lovely stay - The breakfast was amazing. Such a variety of delicious food and so beautifully presented. The location was great - a short walk to old town, Christmas market. Also walking distance from the train station. The hotel is charming and with much attention to detail. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The motion detected light in the entry way of the room was annoying. It would turn on if I got up to go to the bathroom at night, waking my husband. That is my only negative comment. Also be aware that there is no elevator. It wasn't a problem for us and expected for an historic building but something others should be aware of.

• Eochr (6/5): Close to the river - Comfortable beds, close to the parking house, good shower. The breakfast was good and I had a nice view over the little river but I would not return. We asked for quiet room as my mother had our dog with her. She got a room above the kitchen which really stank of food and was woken up very early but a lot of construction noise outside.. Nobody spoke English at all in the reception and could therefore not even answer our questions.

Non-sense of organization or just a really angry person with a lot of frustration

• Nancy (10/5): Magical. - Close to most of the important sites. Our charming room overlooks the famous old town hall and the canal below. A short walk to tourist information center. More of the inn was across the cobblestone street and has a great restaurant where you can also have cake and coffee. The BEST place! Because we couldn’t figure out the bus situation we walked with our backpacks to the Inn. It was a long walk (20 minutes at a good pace).
