• Michael (10/5): - The place was really wonderful. A peaceful oasis in the middle of Bangkok. It has a real home feel to it. We could stay longer if we had time. The room was perfect and the garden amazing. WiFi and drinking water available plus a kitchen to use. The owner is really friendly and warm as well. It is a close walk to the nearest metro station and there are numerous shops, restaurants and markets nearby. I would stay here in my next visit to Bangkok! Highly recommended!

• claude (7/5): - J'ai particulièrement apprécié la végétation qui environne les bungalows des chambres, avec de nombreux oiseaux, des écureuils... En pleine ville de Bangkok, c'est très agréable ! Le bungalow de ma chambre n'avait pas d'isolation thermique.. Quand je m'absentais seulement une demi-heure la chambre était à nouveau une étuve.. Durant mon séjour d'un mois, le ménage n'a été fait qu'une fois. Après avoir pris des douches, de nombreux vers de terre sont passés sous une porte donnant sur l'extérieur, attirés par l'humidité, et sont restés.

De locatie, midden tussen de locals, is werkelijk heerlijk. Net buiten het drukke stadscentrum gelegen, waardoor je er volledig tot rust komt. Dit verblijf is absoluut een aanrader! /

The location is perfect: quiet, which meant great sleep, yet close to everything you need. There are many places to eat within a 10-minute walk, and the metro is nearby, making it easy to get anywhere around Bangkok. Nice amenities with everything needed for a smooth stay. I had an amazing 4-day stay and would definitely return.

• Rebecca (10/5): Friendly guesthouse on a quiet alley, close to MRT - This place is a gem! The owners are nice and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable and it’s in a great location - close to food stalls, night markets and public transport. There are nice gardens in the outside area as well as scooters and bikes for rental. I will definitely be staying here next time I’m in Bangkok! Nothing - all good

• Indigo (10/5): A wonder haven in the city - I am so happy to find this lovely gueat house. It is so quiet and cozy, I slept amazingly during my whole stay. The location was great, a short walk to the mrt and then a short ride into the center. It was clean and really welcoming. If you are after a place that is quiet and away from the craziness of the city this is it! Nothing, it was all great!

• Andrey (10/5): Perfect place to rest between travel - Simple, quiet and perfect to spend some days in a quiet place but still within reach of Bangkok's attractions. Air conditioning, hot shower, kettle, everything works perfectly, and the birds sing in the trees which give shade to the yard. The street food outside may seem not very diverse at first glance, but in fact some places are just very inconspicuous, I would especially recommend the padthai made by the old lady who parks her cart opposite the street cafe near the 7-11 The traffic on the main street is packed and the lanes are narrow, so I would be nervous to drive to the guesthouse on a rented car.
• Ayaka (10/5): フレンドリーな犬3匹と優しいオーナーさんのおかげで楽しく過ごせました。 - 一般的なおうちの一室という感じで、非常にアットホームでした。フェンスを開けるとフレンドリーな犬が3匹迎えてくれます。オーナーさんたちもとても親切で、プライバシーは保ちつつも、自宅に帰ったような気持ちで過ごすことができました。エアコンがあったのも嬉しかったです（アユタヤにはなかったので）。近くにセブンイレブンやランドリー（洗濯乾燥で500円程度、近代的なコインランドリー）もあり、便利に過ごせました。 部屋の中に小さな虫やヤモリが出ることがあるので、いわゆる日本グレードのビジネスホテルに慣れている人だと戸惑うかもしれません。でも、日本でも虫が出るような田舎のほうに暮らしたことがある人ならそれほど困らないと思います。それと、この宿というよりも地域の問題で、虫刺されには悩みました。気になる人は虫除けスプレーなど持って行ったほうがいいでしょう。あと、犬が苦手な人も要注意です。
• Ganna (10/5): hidden in a very local area, extremely quiet, great for good sleep - i stayed for two weeks, great internet for working online, fast and not patchy, i’d be on calls for 9-10 hours straight and it would work just lovely ; make sure to let the host know you need the internet without interruptions on the day , because they’re making some sort of renovations, so Nuwat will make sure to satisfy your needs
• Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Young and Beautiful offers you a cozy room in a lovely house with polished wood stairs, a place where you will also find refuge in the serenity of the surrounding garden, and be suddenly gifted with a sumptuous bowl of fruit from one of its trees. Afterwards, take a spin on a bicycle that your gracious English-speaking Thai host, Nuwat, will happily loan you to explore – why not? Bangkok can easily remind you of L.A., with its flotillas of deadlocked cars, making the tropical city’s balmy skies turn sullen with exhaust fumes. But Young and Beautiful’s neighborhood is set apart from the city’s central business districts and more famous neon pleasure domes. The narrow streets surrounding Young & Beautiful, populated by tiny family houses in pastels, are also vibrant with local markets, cafés, and tiny restaurants where the traveler is welcomed with gentleness and grace. You will have a kitchen at your disposal, too, with a microwave and a few utensils, but when you navigate the road less travelled, it is not these things you remember. It’s the privileged glimpses of the real Thailand that your host has gifted you with, these are the treasures you remember the most.
• John (10/5): Clean, comfy, chill place to stay - This is a clean, relaxed guest house located back in a neighborhood in Bangkok. It is a cute, cozy place with a local feel. There is a lot of street food nearby. It's also located near Bangkok's new Chinatown (not the old Chinatown by Wat Mangkon), so there is also a lot of Chinese food available. Maybe 10-15 minutes to subway station on foot, but you can get a cheap motorbike taxi there in less than 5 minutes, and the subway line goes straight downtown in only a few stops. All in all this is a good find in Bangkok. nothing.

• Chavdar (9/5): Superb - Good affordable option. It's located in a residential neighborhood, so you get a real feel of the city. I enjoyed stopping at random street carts to get cheap food. As some reviews mention, the bathroom is an addition to the building and not fully enclosed and that allows mosquitoes to get in, so you gotta be careful when going to the room. The host was polite and spoke decent English. For the price, you can't expect more. Mosquito nets or other type of enclosure in the bathroom.

• Abhinav (10/5): Incredible value - This is incredible value. I liked so many things about this place 1. Very walkable area – 11 minute walk to metro where they have a lot of food stalls at night to eat at. Also the alley it is located on has a lot of street food as well. 2. Quiet: Except the for the occasional motorcycle revving up at night from the neighbors, this place was very quiet. There was no road noise since located so far from the main street 3. Great owner: He was very kind, spoke English pretty decently and when I wanted to check out a day early, he allowed me to do so and refunded my money as well There isn’t much I didn’t like. I don’t think the room is big enough for 2 people to stay. It was the right size for just me but I wouldn’t recommend 2 people staying here. Also, the bathroom is private and connected to your room, but is more like a covered shed than a proper room. So mosquitos and other bugs can get into the bathroom easily. Wasn’t an issue at all for me (and I live in the US), but wanted to mention this point.

We have stayed there a few times and we love coming back, feels like coming back home. We have stayed in 2 different rooms and both of them are comfy, clean and spacious. They provide water and a kitchen you can use too. Not all the rooms have private bathroom, but the shared one is always clean and organized. They take good care of common spaces. Good quality for good price.

• Alegrehhernan (9/5): Superb - Nuwat is such a kind host. He made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. He can speak English very well, so it's nice to be able to hold a conversation with a local. If you have questions about something related to Thai culture or places to visit around the city, he can give you some recommendations. The room is spacious and comfortable. The private bathroom was clean and nice. Nuwat offered me to fix the shower so that I could have hot water, but it wasn't necessary because it was hot and wet every day. Anyways there was another bathroom next to the room in case I wanted a warm shower, but I didn't use it. The kitchen is downstairs. There is a microwave and a fridge. There is a cupboard with cutlery and some plates. The kitchen would be perfect if there was a cooker or a stove though. The street where the guest house is located is quiet. Young and Beautiful is close to the train station and some shops/markets where you can buy groceries or street food at a good price. There is also a small store nearby where you can buy a plug adaptor (I didn't know that they used a different one before coming). I work as a freelancer, so I had to rely a lot on the wi-fi connection. Overall, it worked very well. There were some small instances in which the connection was not that stable, but it was just for a couple of seconds. All in all, I really enjoyed my long stay in this quiet guest house. It was nice to see some squirrels in the trees, too!

• Nguyen (5/5): I do not recommend this hotel as there is another hotel with the same price but MORE COMFORTABLE - The room is very big for one person as it could fit even 4 persons if there is another bed. It's very quiet so you don't have to worry about losing any sleep overnight or during the day. The room is clean so that is really appreciated. * Location: In contrast to what the reviews say, it is VERY VERY FAR from the main road. If you book a Bolt card, good luck finding one as no driver would like to pick you up in the alley. Eventually, I have to book for a Bolt bike which is really inconvenient as the price is the same as the car +__+. Moreover, 7-Eleven is also very far as well as local street food. If you want to stay there, make sure to rent a bike. Finally, if you search for the hotel on Google Map, there is none as the owner does not register as Google Business. * Bathroom: There is no real bathroom inside the room so the host has renovated the balcony outside to become the bathroom, which is really terrible and very cold while taking the shower. Taking the shower in the day, it's okay as there is a sun to keep you warm. However, if you take the shower in the evening or late at night, it's so cold as the wind is blowing from all sides =__= * Staff: The owner does not pay attention to the message via Line even though he gave me one before check-in. I text him for like 2 hours until there is a reply. At that time, I'm already outside the room. Therefore, if you need any help, support, or whatever emergency, it is not helpful at all. * Lighting: It's very dark in the afternoon or at night, which is very scary and gloomy if you are not used to travel alone. For family or couple (especially there is woman or kid traveling along), the room is not a good place for your family.
• Chunghan (9/5): Superb - Every time I'm in Bangkok, I can't help but think of this place. The rooms are always spotless, the beds are super comfy, and the host even double-checks to make sure the sheets and pillowcases smell fresh. It's a bit off the beaten path, but it's still less than a 10-minute walk to the subway station. And the local night market is open until the wee hours of the morning, so no matter when you arrive in Bangkok, there's always a place to relax and recharge here.

• Jay-ti (10/5): 2 days stay in a Secrete Garden ☺️ - The place is a nice residential area and it's like you're living in a garden house that feels comfortable and clean. It's also easy to contact the owner anytime, as he welcomes you like your home until you check out. It is also located just near the mrt station, it's walkable and convenient, not too noisy. There are affordable food stalls and shops around the area. The facilities are good, you can prepare your food in the kitchen. We enter the room with some kind of smell. I think the bedsheets are not new. But everything is good ☺️

• Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful location in calm and safe neighbourhood outside of the city madness, but close enough to public transport to get around. Shops, markets, street food and restaurants within short walking distance. Pleasant outside sitting area. Comfy room with convenient work desk. Kind hosts who are always willing to help. Lovely neighbours. Common areas could use some deep cleaning, especially the kitchen. But I'd stay here again anyways.

• Mo (8/5): Very good - Quite, peaceful, totally relaxing. Nuwat and friends,always smiling, very helpful. Stayed for two days, loved the locals especially as you walk to high street that I booked another two. I learned more about Thai life here than anything Pattaya had to offer. Spot the tourist 😁 There’s a bird in the treetops that I have never seen. Most frustrating

• Amanda (10/5): A lovely private guesthouse with friendly and hospitable hosts - Great private studio with kettle, mini refrigerator, desk and chairs to sit on, air conditioning and a fan etc. Everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly and communication was easy. Great location close to the metro with lots of food options and massage places nearby (and a 7-21 for snacks). Ideal for travellers who want privacy and don’t want to stay in the tourist pockets. Excellent value. Nothing, all was perfect for me and met my expectations.
• Satomi (10/5): Exceptional - The room has a balcony with private bathroom and shower(which is cold water but there’s another bathroom on the same floor has hot shower) The owners are extremely nice. I loved riding a bicycle in the neighbourhood. I’d love to come to stay here again when I’m in Bangkok.
• Hibana (10/5): Wonderful local house and host - Everything was perfect! The host was kind and quick to answer, the neighborhood was quiet and very local plus we found some great food stands near the house. Everything was clean, we were able to do our laundry and the garden was nice with a lot of plants. Finally, we extended our stay for a few more nights and had to change for another room. That one was even bigger and had a private bathroom on the balcony outside. The matress was a little bit hard, you could feel the springs depending on where you laid down. But we were able to sleep on it for a week with no problems whatsoever. Since we extended our stay, we had to change rooms and the private room we got had a more comfortable mattress.
